I walked by at large and saw this Chinese and Vietnamese restaurant ..hadn't seen it ...similar to so many ..fun to try more Chinese restaurants ..I got a pork banh mi ..tasty ..with a coke ..fun
This place is definitely going to be one of my go to spots! This place is not too far from my work and I cannot believe this is the first time I'm coining here. If you love Asian food, you need to come eat here. I mean it's nothing fancy but the food is good and hits the spot! Came here with my co-workers and funny enough we ordered all the same things. The crispy pork chops with steamed rice or fried rice is bussin (very good)! I give that dish 5 stars! I'm pretty sure all the other dishes are great too. So the way it works is you can order at the counter or at your table. They serve you and then pay at the counter on your way out. The service is great, not a very long wait to get your food. The restaurant looks like a mini cafe but it can probably seat about 40 plus or minus. It's clean but it can get crowded a bit loud. So there's plenty to choose from in the menu. You better believe I'm coming back!
Got curry beef rice plate to go, wasn't what I was expecting but it is very tasty. Tastes like Singapore rice noodles.
TWO LUNCH DELIVERIES The first time I ordered food from this place for delivery I had the imperial rolls and salt and pepper pork chop. I ordered from this restaurant due to the salt and pepper pork chop. I prefer imperial rolls over egg rolls due to the filling isn't heavy. Also the imperial rolls aren't oily. The imperial rolls I ordered from 7 Mission Restaurant didn't disappoint due to the crispy outside and light filling inside. The salt and pepper pork chop on the other hand was a disappointment. I couldn't taste the contrast of the salt and pepper flavoring. In addition the tomatoes this dish had an aluminum tin can taste. I didn't consider ordering from 7 Mission Restaurant again, but I decided to give this place another try as it close to my work. About a week later I placed another delivery order. This time I ordered the BBQ pork chop rice place and chicken wings. The BBQ pork chop was more flavorful than the salt and pepper chop. I can taste the sweetness chariness of the caramelization and bitterness of the char. The pork chop was also moist. The chicken wings had a more salt and pepper flavoring than the salt and pepper pork chop. After two orders I enjoyed my lunch items I ordered. There was one bad item with salt and pepper pork chop, but the three other items were tasty. Overall I was satisfied with my two lunch deliveries.
One of my fave restaurant in the city I love there combo claypot and I always ordered it been coming here since 2018 during lunch time it's always a big rush weather dine in or to go order I usually come in around 1 so the rush already died down a little the service was good the sitting is fairly quick and the ambiance of the place is welcoming.
I ordered Chicken Chow Mein from this restaurant through Doordash, but what I received was Chicken Fried Rice - and not just any fried rice, but a dish that was 95% rice and barely any chicken. When I called the restaurant to ask for a replacement, the man on the phone (who I assume was the owner) rudely told me it was my fault. He advised that I should have called ahead to confirm the dish was Chow Mein, despite the fact that the photo on Doordash clearly showed Chow Mein. He even blamed the misleading photo on a "user submission" and said he had no control over it. Funny enough, after I hung up, the photo was immediately removed from the listing, so clearly, he does have control. The owner's attitude was condescending and dismissive, showing zero accountability for the mistake. I've submitted a complaint to Doordash and am disputing the charge with my credit card company. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this place. Terrible service, misleading menu, and awful customer support.
$15 for claypot. Choices: combo, spareribs, or seafood. Combo has chicken, mushroom, chinesr sausage, 2 shrimp. Love the crispy rice on the bottom. One claypot per person. Yummy no need to add more soy sauce.
I doordashed the food and thought it was simply okay. The wings were not my favorite, they were a bit plain. The combo chow fun was decent. I would try this place again just because they have so many items to try.

There are not too many choices for lunch close to where I work. I work close to 7th and Bryant St. In SF. But, I do come to Seven and Mission restaurant (SF) almost religiously once every other week! Here are 3 of my favorite lunch items to get here: - Salt & Pepper pork chops over fried rice: chunks of deep fried goodness. Generous portions given on top of yummy fried rice - Beef and Egg (keto?)- I eat this when I want to eat light but don't want to sacrifice taste and falvir -Combo Claypot: reminds me of my Grandma's home cooking w/ different pleasing aromas. Lots of Umami mix of flavors with shrimp, chicken, Chinese sausage, green onions, onions, mushrooms. I like to just put a dab of Sricha sauce for extra flavor. The staff are very friendly and you should call in your order for pick up. No dine in at this time. No parking.
It's pretty satisfying for what it is. However the neighbor isn't the best and you have to order at a window and wait outside. Orange chicken - standard. Not as good as Panda Express tho Shrimp salad rolls. Idk why they called it shrimp salad. It's like the regular shrimp and pork rolls from a Vietnamese restaurant. These were fine and the rice paper was nice and soft. However there's an odd chemically aftertaste when you bite into it and the peanut dipping sauce tasted watery.
Always walked by here after getting off of muni and thought that it was the day to go. So glad I did, I ordered the broccoli chicken rice plate and it was so good. Not super salty as sometimes these kind of dishes can be. The waiter was so nice and the food came out super quick (like 10 minutes maybe). My boyfriend ordered the special beef pho and that was also very good. This restaurant is off of mission so it is very loud outside but in the restaurant was pleasant and clean. Would recommend stopping by and grabbing a bite to eat.

Cool little hole in the wall Chinese spot serving some authentic dishes. Customer friendly prices. Service was quick. Food took a minute to come out but when it did it was piping hot. Made fresh to order, which is a big plus. Restaurant was super clean. Loved the lemon chicken. The crispy egg rolls weren't great. Would give them a 3/5. My friend got the chicken wings and devoured them. I'm not sure if he was starving or if they were just that good lol. Each table came with their own set of sauces and utensils. Seen other people ordering the hot pot and also the fried rice looked delicious. If I'm ever in this area of SF again I'll be sure to come back. read more
I love Asian food and I have been dying to try this restaurant for a month and finally I was able to have food delivered to my residence and I loved every minute eating the food here. The chicken and rice dish was excellent and the sweet and sour soup was delicious. I highly recommend people try this place out at least once . I am sure the service and the overall ambiance of the place was good from what I've read in other reviews. I would like to give them 40 stars if that was an option.. read more

The food was good, as well the service. Found the food to be savory and chicken meat quality was good. Portion are large so you can easily share, and pricing was affordable.I can see why many locals love coming here. read more

7/9/2020 Quarantine Day 115 My boyfriend and I came here to grab some food because we were super hungry and it was the closest place in the area that was open for takeout. You order through the window and then pay afterwards. Here's what we got: 1. Shrimp Fried Rice 2. Lemon chicken with rice 3. Beef with eggplant with rice We waited 15 minutes and our food was ready for pick up. The portions are fairly large, with a good ratio of cooked food to rice. Out of the three dishes, I'd say I enjoyed the beef with eggplant over the other two. I'm the type of person who loves having her rice covered with sauce so that's why the beef was the winner for me. The beef was tender, not chewy and eggplant was soft. The shrimp fried rice was a tad bit dry; perhaps that could have been remedied if I had a bottle of sriracha with me. The lemon chicken was okay; it left a weird aftertaste in my mouth. Overall, it's a decent place if you are in the area and in a pinch for food. read more

Huge portion of food. I got the Combo C which comes with beef, fried shrimp, steamed rice, two egg rolls and a side of salad. Yum Yum. The egg rolls were crispy and so were the shrimp. Affordable prices too especially for San Francisco. I like this restaurant because I can get both my chinese food and Vietnamese food fix right next to my apartment. read more

Decent chinese food place close to Soma When I first saw "clay pot" on the menu outside the door, I was excited. Damn! Even though I wasn't hungry, I Just had to go in and try it. From the menu, the food items looked legit--spare ribs clay pot sounded authentic. Unfortunately this was not the case--the whole thing did not really taste like authentic clay pots. There wasn't a lot of soy sauce, and the rice was mixed with carrots (what??), onions, and bok choy. Which is fine--I applaud them for adding ingredients, but that's not how authentic clay pots are supposed to be! It's supposed to be just spare ribs, with rice, and lots of soy sauce! That's how they make them on the streets! Oh well, at least the price was pretty good. The decor inside looks like a fast food place, which is not bad. All in all, a pretty good place to stop by if you're looking for a quick meal and decent tasting food. read more

That is a delivery time of 45 minutes. There is no delivery fee. The delivery person was professional and polite. Order Minimum - It is relatively high ($20). Packing - The food was packed into clam shell containers. There was some slight leakage but it wasn't overly messy. Mongolian Beef - This was very bland. Even the hot sauce I requested only helped a little. The meat was tender. The vegetables were relatively crisp.
