I stopped in here to get some pizza which they usually have 2 for $2 or $2.22. I just needed something to tide me over until I got something more substantial since I had done a lot of walking up to that point...typical tourist. This store is so small but yet they had like 3-4 employees stocking and tending the counter. I assume they have a big problem with people coming in and drinking beverages from the soda fountains and not paying for them, so they have all the cups behind the counter to prevent theft and keep costs low. It makes sense, so if you go to get a Big Gulp and don't see a cup, ask at the counter. Otherwise, it's your typical convenience store, just on a much smaller scale. They have chips, drinks, candy, pastries, coffee, and other amenities you need at your convenience. It also doesn't really stand out from the street so look at the pics of the storefront so you don't miss it. And for now, don't forget to wear a mask due to covid protocol! You also have to pay for a plastic bag if you choose to have one, so just carry a reusable bag/backpack and save yourself the money.

I recently discovered this location after performing a search, and it's a welcome change from what I have been accuatomed to at other nearby locations. I actually work a few blocks over at GW, and for the longest time I had been going to the location near Farragut North Metro. Every time I went into that place I was either annoyed or disgusted. I could tell even in the first visit that this store is tolerated correctly. So many other locations do not have ketchup, mustard, or even napkins. But this place has all of that. They even have the 7-11 mineral water which is in sale, and for which I drink a lot of. I like this store, it's clean, economical, and the people working behind the counter are friendly. I'm even willing to walk a few extra blocks to come to this store.

Small, like everyone says. Never been there when the Coke Slurpee machine was working, though. And I live right next door.

Coffee is my souls peace ! , it's so good, and I really loved the place and the coffee they're making. I met the owner he was so cool to explain the process, which even my little loved hearing about ! Definitely one of my favorite spots here. recommended

Coffee hits different here with the right notes. DC's diverse crowd is truly served well here…read more While not a coffee expert per se, I try to be open to different flavors nuanced and not. I tend to like sugar (too much) but try to drink black sometimes to try to appreciate the actual coffee flavor and for health reasons. Nice way to hydrate in a fancy way. Art work doesn't typically grab me but this art work did. If I had money, time, and comfortable accessibility to purchase, I would. I am sure I could order online and have shipped but I like to avoid shipping costs if I can. The realism and detail grab me in a way I like. The DC tunnel views that continue to beautify DC's respectable metro system show you that Jimmy is truly a local DC artist. It is reminiscent for me of Juniper Lane's music album cover Tightrope. I didn't notice this until after the fact but apparently when you buy art directly from here you get 15% of your purchase for more coffee here too. Wow. Why the missing star? This is kinda picky but if I wasn't looking or a foreigner, I could've accidentally added hand sanitizer to my coffee and well that's a big no no. Granted the bottle is labeled but I am not a fan of this being in the same area as the coffee add-ons. I know spacing is tight and maybe someone moved this bottle in this area but I don't get that sense and just think it's not a good setup. If this place wanted to expand , I think finding good NYC locations would be optimal as well. I am unsure if Philly would be good or not as an additional location as a coffee culture crowd. Of course I would still come back. It was worth the 15 min walk from the convention center in this hot August weather.
