The Union Square Jamba Juice is pretty much what you'd expect from a typical location, though my experience here was disappointing. I ordered a smoothie bowl, and the texture was off--it came out soupy, almost like they didn't add enough ice. The bananas and strawberries were cold as expected, but the consistency felt more like a smoothie poured into a bowl rather than the thicker, more substantial texture I'm used to. I've had much better experiences at the Penn Station location, where the bowls are thicker and even come with toasted coconut toppings--something this Union Square spot didn't offer at all. The store itself was quiet when I visited, yet the staff seemed frantic and a bit disorganized, which was surprising since there wasn't a crowd. The limited toppings and lack of attention to detail made this location feel underserved, and it didn't live up to the standard I associate with Jamba Juice. If it weren't for the brand's name recognition, I'm not sure this spot would get much traffic. It's a basic experience, but it falls short of what Jamba Juice should be.

    Small mango-a-gogo almost gone

I visited this location on Sunday, 02-25-24. I ordered a small mango-a-gogo for breakfast before leaving the city. There was only one young lady working; there were two people ahead of me, but as she was pleasant and kept the line moving. My smoothie was so good, I almost forgot to take a picture. Sure I'll be stopping by again the next time I'm in Union Station.

Me and my friends went on school trip and got Jamba Juice. 10 minutes after we ate We were cooked (mild food poisoning ngl) we walked around dc all day and were in extreme pain DO NOT get Nutella or your next

Upon entering you're greeted. The AC and ventilation is off and on here. Sometimes it feels amazing here with a good amount of free flowing fresh & cool air. But a few times it has been humid. Either way it was worth it. The employees are very friendly as well as highly social. They're always smiling and happy which is a major plus. Also the smoothies have always tasted amazing. They're usually thick which is a plus. Watered down smoothies are terrible because they taste very liquified. When it's thick it means they used a good amount of fruit to make it which is very good. The overall environment was very clean and organized. I've noticed after they make the smoothies they put the blender containers in the sink to wash which is a major plus. So many smoothie places cut corners these days by not rinsing in-between orders. Here they actually do the right thing which is good. The pricing is a little high but their smoothies are very addictive. Lol.... Plus it's healthy. The general crowd is mainly adults. Mainly middle to high class. The noise level is normal for a smoothie place. Quiet and relaxed besides the blenders. Overall. A++++

Never had Jamba before. The acai berry combo antioxidant was tasty and not too sweet. Sooo good! And very efficient service.

Jamba Juice meets expectations when it comes to train station food. The lady working the shift all by herself deserves 5/5 stars for being fast and organized when the line of people built up quickly. I ordered the kids smoothie and the Impossible Handwich (made with soy "meat" sausage). The blueberry and strawberry kids' smoothie was perfect size for me as an adult! And the little breakfast sandwich was very tasty. I am happy for this food option at Union Station, and it will keep me full on the train.

This Jamba Juice location at Union Station in DC is a great place to go for all things quality juice and much more. I really like having this option here and have been happy with all of the purchases that I have made from here. The staff here provides excellent customer service.

    Small matcha green tea blast
    Jynnah R.

*warning* Yelp users they do not except the Yelp check-in offer. But that isn't the reason for the low stars. I got the matcha green tea blast and it just wasn't that great in my opinion. Don't get me wrong it taste like matcha, but because it's mixed with yogurt it taste milky which would be okay if it didn't dilute the flavor so much. Since the only strong flavor is the matcha all the other milky flavors kinda make it flat. Not worth the $7. Also my cup wasn't all he way full so I was a little irritated about that as well. I was only irritated because it wasn't that great so you could at least given me a full cup. I've had their other smoothies and they are pretty good. So that's why the rating isn't so low. This place is busy off and on so just be advised if you come during peak hours there might be a little wait. I will admit the Yelp offer Drew me in but I usually like Jamba juice. It was a a disappointment that the offer wasn't valid. But I sent a message to Yelp hoping they will take it down. The cashier also says that they tried to take it down as well with no luck.

    Açaí na tigela.

Yes Union Station is not for the faint of heart but there are some hidden gems, one of which is the new and improved Jamba. So erased the Juice from the name and added Açaí bowls to the menu. I won't say that I am an Açaí snob but I profess to be a connoisseur. And at this point in my journey, it's anything but Robek's. The Jamba bowls are on the small side and they are the stars of the menu but they hold their own easy. I hate that I don't like fresh fruit on top because customizing isn't the easiest thing to do here but I do it, slightly. I get my bowl without strawberries, blueberries and bananas, adding goji berries. With goji berries, honey, granola and coconut flakes I think I found a really good açaí bowl for when I'm not at South Block, shout out to South Block. Service is always cool and I like the news stuff jumping off so big-ups to Jamba.

The strawberry wild is really good!

It's inside the very nice Union Station. I've not visited a Jamba Juice before so now's my chance. The menu is very specialized, if course, it the plant based looks no beuno for this surf & turf guy. However I like a good smoothie as much as the next guy so here we go with a pb banana chocolate love and It's a darn good smoothie at the price I expected, hey the bottles of beer are $7.25 on the train so there's that:-) My sweetheart is feeling a little funky and thinks it could be a drop in potassium doe to the one blood pressure maintainer she's taking so a big ol' pb banana prorien smoothie for her to bring back to the lounge. The young lady who took my order was very professional and seemed to know her stuff and the smoothie maker was a whizz. The other young lady who served my smoothies however put both of them up on a very sticky domirty counter, not cool -1 star. The are behind the counter could use a little cleaning but they are really busy and they'te cranking out product so giving a pass. Bottom line: the smoothies here are as good as the ones I make for myself. The selection is good and the don't have you wait. All good!!

The ingredients tasted super savory and fresh. I also tried the Coffee Date smoothie (cold brew coffee, almond milk, banana, peanut butter, raw cacao, dates), and it was delicious. The atmosphere is cute, clean, and trendy, with a really welcoming feel. It's small with limited seating, but it wasn't overcrowded at all. I went with a group of three and we sat outside--perfect setup for a warm day with shaded seating and umbrellas. Inside, there were people working on laptops, so it definitely seems like a great spot to hang out or work remotely. Service was quick, warm, and friendly. Overall, such a great find. I'd absolutely come back.

I ordered the Mango Smoothie Bowl through Uber Eats, and from the moment I opened the bag, I knew I was in for a treat. The bowl arrived perfectly packaged, looked incredibly fresh, and was just as beautiful as if I had ordered it in the café. I customized my bowl with pistachio butter and chia seeds, and it was hands down one of the best combinations I have had. The mango base was thick, creamy, and bursting with fresh tropical flavor without being overly sweet. The pistachio butter added a rich, nutty finish that paired perfectly with the fruit, while the chia seeds provided the perfect amount of texture. What really impressed me, though, was the customization. One of my biggest pet peeves with smoothie bowl shops is getting charged every time you want to add something simple like chia seeds, agave, or honey. Those little charges add up fast! South Block offers several complimentary ways to customize your bowl, which made the entire experience feel much more customer friendly. It is nice to enjoy a place that focuses on giving guests options instead of nickel and diming them for every topping. Another thing worth mentioning is the portion size. This bowl was filling without feeling heavy, and every ingredient tasted fresh and high quality. The granola still had a nice crunch, the fruit tasted fresh, and nothing was soggy despite being delivered through Uber Eats. That says a lot about the care they put into preparing and packaging their food. South Block has definitely earned a repeat customer. Between the quality of the ingredients, the generous portions, the ability to customize your bowl, and the overall value, this was an easy win. If you are looking for a refreshing breakfast, a post workout meal, or simply a healthy treat that actually tastes amazing, do yourself a favor and give South Block a try. Trust me. This will not be my last order. South Block officially has my vote for the best smoothie bowl I have had in DC so far! Overall Score: 10/10.

They were filling, delicious, and broke my brain as to why I had gone this far in life without making this treat a regular in my pursuit of constantly enjoying the most toothsome dishes to be had. I need to go back. Soon.

We were going to find another place, however, they said how about a hot chocolate or a tea. My friend is vegan and inquired if their hot cocoa was vegan, as most places have dairy in the chocolate. The cashier went to look at the chocolate syrup and also had another person look at it to verify it's vegan. My friend ordered a hot chocolate with oat milk.
