I've been coming to Ice Cream Jubilee for years. This is a must stop when you're in this area. Ice cream is consistently good and fresh! The only downside is that it's so popular, they sometimes run out of flavors - or even cones. On this visit, I was really hoping for a waffle cone. There weren't any left, but they were able to make me a fresh one on the spot. I thought that was a super nice gesture and it made my day. This is the perfectly located place to get a scoop, take a way nearby and enjoy a pleasant sunny day in DC!

Solid spot to try different flavors- I LOVED the mango sticky rice (coconut based) ice cream. It really hit the spot and tastes exactly as it sounds!!!! Texture is so solid. Fast casual/grab & go spot. They have pints available too!

This dessert spot is very stop and go, doesn't have bathrooms and you've gotta sit outside; which to me is frustrating on 90* days as your ice cream melts fast. Another downfall is it is very small and they don't seem to have the good organization on the line going out the door. We had one milkshake and one scoop of ice cream in a cup = nearly $24. I know it's DC and the era but honestly didn't meet the mark and I've had better for that price point. Staff also not very friendly.

I really want to be able to give this place more stars... on the night we visited, the service was okay. They were understaffed, and the person working was hustling, but not delivering the best service (probably because they were tired) The ice cream we got was delicious... I was excited to check out some of their unique flavors, but they were out of so many flavors that it was a bit silly. It wasn't even the hottest of days when everyone was getting ice cream. And the waste... ugh. They use compostable bowls but have no compost.

I love the flavors and the service that this place has! Great location and warms my soul. Summer is here. Few cute seats to sit outside too.

The ice cream was good. They had some cool, interesting flavors. Service was nice. Wasn't too lively or whimsical which is what I look for in an ice cream parlor but it was nice I would give it another chance because the flavors were cool, but I'm really looking for that Jubilee vibe!

Well the only thing that was a bummer was the fact I couldn't get my free scoop of ice cream. (Totally not jubilees fault, some malfunction or issue with the Yelp Elite crew) However the fact I paid for some amazing ice cream was well worth it. The location is so beautiful. The customer service was amazing. The ice cream was extra delicious. And the owner was so sweet with tryin to help me out with my issue. Please stop and support this amazing business. You won't regret it.

Decent ice cream flavors, but the staff lacks communication skills. After waiting for a while for the customer in front of us to finish ordering, which seemingly took forever, it was finally our turn. Even though no one was behind us at first, it seemed like the staff was trying to rush us through our order even though it was our first time there. We had no idea we could sample flavors until we had already ordered and ended up with one that we didn't really care for. Don't get the smoked vanilla cherry sakura! When it came time to pay, we were also charged for a sundae despite only ordering a 3 scoop bowl. I think the confusion came when we asked about sundaes at first. The staff should have assumed we didn't want a sundae when we didn't get any toppings on our bowl. But they also should have asked and clarified what it was we wanted. We ended up paying 2 bucks extra for nothing.

Ice Cream Jubilee just released five new fall flavors. They are Pumpkin Honeycomb, Maple Rye Pecan, Apple Butter Oatmeal Cookie, Cardamom Black Pepper and the Apple Cider Sorbet. I was digging the Apple Cider Sorbet which is spiced with classic apple cider, cinnamon and other earthy spices. I can't wait to sit down by a fire pit and nosh on the whole pint.

My go-to order is the pressed-flat chimney cone with Nutella, bananas, and strawberries. It's served hot, fresh, and makes the perfect afternoon treat. They offer a huge variety of toppings, so there's something for everyone, along with fresh juices and smoothies if you're looking for something to drink. My platter was around $13, which I think is a great value for the quality and portion. If you have a sweet tooth or are looking to try something different, I definitely recommend stopping by. My friend who used to live in Baltimore told me her and her mom loved Pitango. She is gluten-free and pretty much all of their gelatos are gluten free. They also had a large selection of dairy-free options too. It's a tiny shop, but there are what feels like over 20 flavors to pick from. The person who was working there was extremely kind and let us try whatever wanted. I tried the dark chocolate and bacio flavors and ended up choosing those as my gelato for the evening. The smallest cup was a regular and came out to able $9 with tip. There was a lot of seating options outside. I'd recommend this spot for a sweet treat.

They had a larger than expected non-dairy selection so I ended up with two such flavors in addition to one more conventional gelato flavor. All of them, including and almond nougat creation that was new to me, a bitter chocolate sorbetto, and a kiwi flavor with little fruit pieces, delivered amply on flavor. The price was more eye-watering than mouthwatering. I suppose it's both a premium location and premium quality, but that was a small cup for over $10. As an occasional indulgence, I do recommend it, and given that it's a Baltimore brand whose original location is near the water, there's something appropriate about it being on the wharf.
