Dickhead worker

To the owner of the 7-11 in 301 N Civic - Your overnight employee actively costs you likely thousands of dollars of business each month or more by closing the store for no reason despite it being a 24/7 location. I've never met a functioning adult that couldn't stop mopping the floors for a 30 second register transaction, but you managed to hire them to run your overnight shift and he is an absolutely useless clown.

Redemption credit

Avoid this store at all costs. I've been going there for years. I signed up for the app and had some points. I redeemed a free small coffee reward at the app and scanned it at the register, per the app's instructions. The Asian American lady told me I owed her money even though the app said I get a free coffee. I explained it should be free through the app. Then a middle eastern or Indian clerk replaced her. He started aggressively staring me down and rudely calling me "bro." He told me the app wasn't his problem and I was not getting the coffee. Then he took it away and walked away. I am taking my money elsewhere.

You could catch a cold from the icy personalities of these employees. My mixed feelings of before were settled yesterday whe I made the decision never again to give them my money. I work too hard to support a business with employees as rude as this location. I went in to purchase some scratchers - not for me, I put them in birthday cards for friends! I went to pay with my debit card and was told this isn't allowed. I told the woman I purchase these all the time. It's fine as long as you use debit (like CA$H) rather than credit. She very, very rudely (and I'm pretty patient) told me how she'd been working there six months and it's not allowed. I replied that I would go somewhere else then and received a snotty remark about how I should. And so I did. Cork and Bottle on Treat allowed me to use my debit card. The Chevron next door to them did also. If that's their new policy at this location; fine. But if that's how they explain it to customers that frequent this place and live and work nearby and have been coming here for years; well, I won't be back. Oh thank heaven, for other locations!

Why among 7 eleven branch in Walnut Creek this one doesn't have REDBOX. I hope they will have a Redbox kiosk someday .

The manager told me he thinks the Pharmacy Manager's name was "Lau" (he spelled it) and that the pharmacist answering the phones might be "Shemma." I told him that I had already been disconnected multiple times and was just trying to get my prescription. The manager wasn't rude, but it didn't really feel like I was talking to someone who was concerned about fixing the issue. I expected a little more urgency since why are the pharmacy staff acting like they answering calls and disconnecting them on "accident". Instead, the only solution offered was to transfer me back to the pharmacy and let them know I was waiting on the phone. When someone answered, I asked if her name was Shemma. She immediately responded, "Nope," and transferred me. I was connected to Shemma. I realized she wasn't the same person that had disconnected my earlier calls because her voice sounded different from the employee who had answered before. Since Shemma stayed on the line, I decided to ask about my medication and a possible prescription transfer between Walgreens locations. I explained that my regular Walgreens told me that if this location had the medication in stock, they could request the prescription transfer. Shemma told me, "No, I can't do that. Call that Walgreens to transfer it." This completely conflicted with what I had already been told, and I felt like I was being talked over. My biggest concern is still the employee who initially answered the phone. After one of the disconnections, I called back and asked for her name first because I wanted to know who was disconnecting the calls. I figured if the call got disconnected again, at least I would know who I had spoken with. When I asked for her name, she responded, "Sure," and the call was disconnected. This is another reason I strongly recommend asking for the employee's name at the beginning of the call. I feel like people are less tough when they know you know who they are. If you need to follow up, file a complaint, or reference a specific interaction, having the employee's name can make that process a lot easier. With that being said, I don't need my prescription to be filled here anymore. Goodluck to ya if you have to call this pharmacy.

Overall this store isn't a bad store that's not why it gets a 3 star rating…read more It's in a really weird spot I don't know if it's by apartments or what that gate that opens is but there's so much traffic and there's a little shopping center as well that it's in. If you go there you'll know what I'm talking about it's just a very weird set up and I just would prefer to go somewhere else but I'll go here if it's closest. There was this man out there today just sitting there staring at everyone I don't know if he does that a lot but just a weird vibe there. Wasn't a worker. The worker was pretty nice I just don't like how my feet got sticky what I got in there. I wiped it off on the rug real quick I'm not keeping your stickiness with me that's gross. Today April 26,2026, I stopped here to make a purchase and to my dismay I developed car problems…read moreunexpectedly. I dispatched BMW Roadside service for a tow, and as I was waiting for a tow truck arrival, a female clerk walked out to my distressed vehicle and informed me to leave. She then stated if I don't leave within five minutes she will call the Walnut Creek Police. I informed her that my vehicle is inoperable and I am awaiting a tow truck arrival and the time of arrival is out of my hands. She repeatedly stated that she would call the Walnut Creek Police as she's only giving me twenty minutes more. My response was: " Call the police!" I have three receipts showing that I am a customer who made multiple store purchases. I then asked her: " what if you were stranded with an inoperable car, or better yet, what if your mother, father or other loved one were stranded, would you be ok if the situation were reversed?" She was an East African female who then walked away! I am in total disbelief that she would even make such a threat to me, especially since I am a Black American male stranded here in Walnut Creek, California as it's approaching 7:15pm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Suggestions: please have compassion and understanding for a customer whose vehicle is inoperable.

I absolutely dread coming to this place and today was the last time…read more Always a long line - it's confusing to "order" when there is NO "order" line, it's "consultation." I don't need a consultation, I just want my second batch of pills on my prescription. There is no one at any other window, just one super long line and you stand there for 20 minutes, when you finally get to the front, the lady first looks at my (hard copy) prescription and acts like she doesn't know what to do. Then tells me I need to go stand in the other "line" after I wasted 20 minutes. Every time I go here, they don't have my prescription and I ask my doctor, he shows me where he sent it (this has happened with two different doctors so it's not the doctor, it's this poorly run place). It's one of the worst run pharmacies I've ever been to in my life - and the people that work behind the counter absolutely could not care less. I hate to sound like one of those "in my day" people who whine about everything but it's true in this case - pharmacies used to have people who cared about the people coming in. This one just has people who want to get through the work day. They couldn't give an actual flying yahoo about any customer, they have the same attitude as a McDonald's worker. They act like they're being put out and the people in the (long) line are morons for using this pharmacy (perhaps that's true now in retrospect). They never have enough people working there and every time I come in, they come across as so ridiculously incompetent, you wonder if these people actually have the education to be working in pharmacy. Management at CVS will read this and laugh and go about their day. They don't care. Look at all the other reviews here. It's not just me, it's everyone. This is the last time I EVER step foot in a CVS. There is no reason for me to ever come to this or any other one ever again.
