Lately, I've been ordering and picking up from 7-Eleven thanks to my credit card's $20 DoorDash monthly grocery credit. Every time I go, I'm amazed by the number of snacks I've never heard of and get excited to try them all. The store is generally clean, and they've mostly gotten my orders right, though I'm not sure if the stock on the app is always up to date. They have a parking lot, which is convenient, but it's a bit annoying that there's only one shared entrance and exit. Overall, it's been a solid spot for quick snacks and pick-ups. read more

Very very rude employee I asked to use the restroom and I was a paying customer and as far as I'm concerned as any business should have a restroom for customers that are paying for something and then I asked him when I asked him to use the restroom. He said no no restroom and I said well how do you use the restroom? He says the toilet I said well I can't. Please use the restroom. I just have to go pee really quick and he said no and yelled and snapped at me if I were you I would suggest going to a different 7-Eleven for gas or whatever unless you want a very unpleasant experience with the employee if I could give this a negative star rating I would. read more

I bought gas with my last 20bucks on Apple Pay the pump didn't work I walk in instead of moving my money to another pump they canceled the transaction leaving me with no gas no money and stuck they didn't care and did nothing to make it right. read more

Avoid this store at all costs. I've been going there for years. I signed up for the app and had some points. I redeemed a free small coffee reward at the app and scanned it at the register, per the app's instructions. The Asian American lady told me I owed her money even though the app said I get a free coffee. I explained it should be free through the app. Then a middle eastern or Indian clerk replaced her. He started aggressively staring me down and rudely calling me "bro." He told me the app wasn't his problem and I was not getting the coffee. Then he took it away and walked away. This is the worst 7-Eleven, of hundreds, I've depended on. The management here is incredibly poor. Nobody visits 7-Eleven to wait for food to be cooked. It's supposed to be ready to wrap and go. That is why we all go to 7-Eleven. It's really the only reason most people go to 7-Eleven. That's the only reason there is a 7-Eleven on so many corners throughout the USA. Ready To Go... NO. Want wings... Wait 8-30 minutes? From 7-Eleven? What about a grab and go hot dog? No relish to dress it? You could catch a cold from the icy personalities of these employees. My mixed feelings of before were settled yesterday whe I made the decision never again to give them my money. I work too hard to support a business with employees as rude as this location. I went in to purchase some scratchers - not for me, I put them in birthday cards for friends! I went to pay with my debit card and was told this isn't allowed. I told the woman I purchase these all the time. It's fine as long as you use debit (like CA$H) rather than credit. She very, very rudely (and I'm pretty patient) told me how she'd been working there six months and it's not allowed. I replied that I would go somewhere else then and received a snotty remark about how I should. And so I did. Cork and Bottle on Treat allowed me to use my debit card. The Chevron next door to them did also. If that's their new policy at this location; fine. But if that's how they explain it to customers that frequent this place and live and work nearby and have been coming here for years; well, I won't be back. This 7-11 is a little off the main road from my normal morning routine, but in a bind, I'll venture over here for beverages before work. It's also our go-to spot before weekend road trips. It's a run of the mill 7-11 but relatively clean and usually well stocked. Sometimes, it seems like the saddest place on earth. To be more specific, there have been Sunday mornings I'll stop in to grab the newspaper and at 7:45 a.m. some poor soul will be in there buying a six pack of beer, lotto tickets and some beef jerky. This 7-11 serves it's purpose-nothing really spectacular about it. However, minus 1 star because on the weekday mornings there is one cashier who TERRIFIES me. After I walked out I realized I wanted to also buy a small pack of travel tissues for an eye issue that I was having that morning. If you're looking to just quickly buy something to snack on or drink, then there's not much wrong with going here. Although, it's nice to mention everything else about the place. Including how the staff doesn't greet you, how it seems like they hate their jobs, and how it's not a really pleasant place to stay in. The only good things about the place is that there's an ATM machine, it's fairly close to downtown Walnut Creek, and it has pretty much everything you would need. this place is located on a corner strip mall next to a japanese restaurant. got a energy fusion? columbia coffee (20 oz 1.49). if it was after 4, it was be .99. (12 0z 1.29, 16 oz 1.39) when i went to the cashier to pay for it, she insisted my cup of coffee had to be scanned to register a sale. talk about controlling shrinkage! the coffee wasn't that tasty/eventful. with some flavored cremers, it tasted pretty good. read more

I came in here during the summer for a Slurpee with my nieces and nephew. Unfortunately, the Slurpee machine was tough to operate because the handles for each flavor were stuck : ( There were 4 employees behind the counter chatting, so I asked one if they could help me. When I saw that she had to pull the handle with all of her might, I understood that I would be the one who would need to pour the Slurpees. No kid could use that machine! One bright spot was that when I needed to use a coupon on the mobile app, the same employee was able to check it out with the manager who had just come into the back office. (The 7 Eleven app is pretty awesome for deals. I got a free bag of Cheetos, and I've also see a free bottle of Gatorade offered as well : ) We hung out in front, since there's a place to sit on the edge of the planters, and the kids were thrilled with summertime treats. read more

A standard 7-Eleven, this location is very bright and clean, and was very well stocked when I visited after having lunch next door. I do agree with several other reviewers there, the workers were fairly intimidating as I waited in line to purchase. While no one was outwardly rude, the workers absolutely have SCOWLS on their faces. While I don't require smiles with my soda purchase, it doesn't feel me with any urgency to return. There is something sinful about having a 7-eleven just across the street. The convenience is addicting. Need a quick drink? Something before you head off to work? forgot something for the recipe? This is the place to go. However for all the wonderfulness that it offers, you gotta remember, don't take it fore granted. I can't tell you how many times it's been nice to wake up in the morning walk across the street and get some bacon to cook brunch on a lazy Sunday. The people who run this place have got to be the rudest, most unfriendly people on Earth - I know they are not from America - Russia maybe? They do keep the local school kids on a tight leash inside the store, but do NOTHING about chasing they away from the FRONT DOORS. Really folks, a 1-star review of 7-11? Come on! 7-11 by it's very nature is a 1 or 2 star joint, so you need to be fair and rate it based on what you expect from this type of business. So, with that, I'll say that this location is about average for the convenience stores I'm used to. Never walked into a 24 hour establishment that refused to sell alcohol after 1:50, we walked in at 1:49. Totally fine if that's a legitimate rule, but I've bought quite a bit of beer at the same location later than 1:50... if I've been mistaken and the rule is 1:50 am I completely understand, but there's no reason the tall gentleman with curly hair should have been so abrasive. So I just got back from this 7 11 that I've been going to since it is across the street. I got two taquitos and a small thing of cookie dough ice cream.
