I got a foam baseball, a flashlight key chain, a cooler bag, my $1.19 XL Diet Dr. Pepper, and Beaver Nuggets for the neighbors, while the wife nabbed Mini Waffle Cones and Butter Toffee Pecans, which I highly recommend. This being my third time at a Buc-ee's, I was smart enough to go hungry and got a brisket sandwich from the busy busy foodworkers. Once second largest at 60,000 square feet, this particular Buc-ee's, the relief point between Dallas and Austin, ranks 11th in size out of 54. A mix of Outlaw Country with the busy Donki stores of Japan, I affectionately call these a "Delta Dawn Quixote."

Unfortunately, the quality of the fountain drinks at several locations has declined significantly. Recently, it seems Cefco "serviced" their fountain stations and remapped the drink selections without actually changing or flushing the delivery lines. As a result, the flavor carryover is terrible--at multiple stores. No amount of flushing will get the root-beer taste out of the Diet Coke, and every drink ends up tasting off. This is especially disappointing considering Cefco has some of the highest fountain drink prices in the Temple area. If customers are paying a premium, the quality should reflect that. Right now, it absolutely does not. I hope Cefco addresses this quickly, because I've been a long-time daily customer--but the current fountain drink quality is making it hard to stay one.

This review is based on the gas pump experience…read more So... I already had one really good 7-Eleven gas run experience at another 7-Eleven about 2 hours away a few days before. Days later, Hubbers and I were on our way from Buc-ees nearby when we realized we needed to make another gas run. We made comparisons, and this one (in comparison to other gas stations sorta nearby enough) was cheaper. Sure, it was a couple of cents cheaper, but cheaper nonetheless. Like the last 7-Eleven pump run, it asked if I have a phone number associated with the 7-Eleven app which I did. And like that last run, just having that phone number ended up saving me an extra $0.11c/gal discount. So it turns out, this place really is way cheaper than ones anywhere else near the vicinity - simply just for being a 7-Eleven app user! Was it a good run?! Yes. Was it a good cheap-gas run?! ABSOLUTELY. I don't visit this 'hood often enough, but the next time I come through, this place for gas refill will be first on my radar.

After working a long shift and being exhausted i ran out of gas and came here i went inside to put $2.51 in my tank (all that was in my bank account) and Ms.Anna, god bless her, was generous enough to keep me calm and help me put a little bit more in. I have never had anyone do this for me before and she truly was a godsend tonight. I was scared seeing as this is 30 minutes from my house and was unsure if i would make it home, thanks to Ms.Anna I'll be able to make it home safely. God bless you.
