I felt like we intruded on these ladies lunches! I'm looking all over for a menu and finally ask the girl behind the counter and she pulls a menu out. I'm was so confused as to why they don't just keep them out. The next thing that got me is that there weren't prices on the menu. We ordered 2 pulled pork and 1 chicken salad and it was about $38. The girl behind the counter was very sweet and accommodating, especially for my picky kids. My kids love pulled pork and they said this was okay but they preferred grandpa's. It did look a little dry but my husband said it was okay. My chicken salad sandwich was dry as well. The potato salad was really good though!!! They both could have used a little more seasoning. Thankfully there was salt on the table. Now for the star of the show... the pickles!!! I'm the only real pickle eater and I thought they were really good... enough so that I bought a big container. It was a little odd because the pickles on my plate were different textures. My husband actually noted the same thing. We went back and got a Dr Pepper cake. It was moist and had an interesting flavor. I don't think I would have guessed DP if I hadn't known it before.

First the woman with teal hair was warm and kind to my wife, smiled asked if she wanted chips with her order, great customer service. To me she was short and cold a little, didn't ask me anything. Now the sandwich in short horrible constructed, huge chucks of fat with the chunks of meat. The meat was well cooked and tasted great but I had to trim the fat off. Then I realized the sandwich was 35% actual meat and 65% sauerkraut. I also have issue with how the meat was cut because that's not how you cut corned beef for a this sandwich.... This place should go to Cafe Lago in Lakeway try an amazing Reuben and take notes.

The cashier said it was their busiest time. We lucked into finding a table to enjoy our food. It is like a busy deli in NYC. The Reuben was fantastic. My wife got the cheesesteak. They grill the meat and make the sandwiches right in front of you so they are hot and fresh. My wife's cheesesteak was ok. Seemed kind of dry and didn't have any peppers and not too many onions. Maybe that's the NYC way and not Philly. Anyway I love the place. We will definitely be back to try their bagels and other sandwiches. Oh yeah. I also got a Dublin soda. It's a craft soda (Coke) made with pure cane sugar. Goood.

This trip we finally made the turn into the parking lot. Walking in, we were greeted immediately. Our greeter was behind a counter that contained fudge and other candies. It was well stocked on most things but a lot of it was stuff I had no interest in. We did enjoy watching the ladies making taffy. The wife and I both used the bathroom facilities. We found them to be well maintained and very clean. I was hoping that this store would be similar to the Choke Cherry store in Estes Park. Unfortunately it was not. We didn't get lunch as we had already eaten with our daughter. We did hear several people say that the food was excellent. Will I return?
