I usually go to the Dollar Tree that's right next to the Hobby Lobby and I'd be there for hours because they have a lot of great stuff and well...they're next to the Hobby Lobby. This one however, in my opinion supersedes that one because, damn is it the nicest looking one that I've been in. This most recent visit I had there, was so organized and clean. I mean, you can just tell that the manager there or the team there really care about how their store looks because it was put together alright. Granted the other location I'm always at, is a bit more busier, I think that should tell the manager to develop some type of plan where the team aren't overexerting themselves and can manage working better together to make the store look better. This location is closer to me so I'm probably going to start coming to this one more often, especially because I just feel like their service was more friendly. I know it's the Dollar store and it's cheap but I don't think that needs to be reflected in the service. I'll definitely be back here ! You can tell that different dollar stores do have different things though! This Family Dollar is on par with all of the other dollar stores in town. It is in the same strip mall as Dollar General and Bealls as well as a few restaurants (Thai, Mexican, American). They have all kinds of houseware basics, cheap throwaway trays and serving utensils, potentially expired drugstore makeup, cheap clothes...the clerks were friendly and it is fun to browse around the dollar store. But there were some recent discoveries that I am now interested in partaking the next time I come through. First on the list would be Temple Railroad and Heritage museum, check out wineries and breweries... there's even a water park for kids! FUN FACT: Temple was a major settlement for Czech immigrants. It's be interesting to learn more about that! Will most likely spend a day exploring the city next time I come through.
