I get here and grab everything I need, pay for my stuff and then wait for my change from the self checkout, the thing starts blinking because the machine is out of cash. The guy comes over and says that the ONLY person w A key is ON BREAK and there's NO OTHER MANAGERS in the ENTIRE STORE w a key and the manager on break won't be back for FOURTY MINUTES ‼ now they expect me to wait FOURTY MINUTES till she gets back to get my $14 of change! This is ridiculous that they don't face another manager covering down while one is out on break! I have been ordering stuff from Walmart delivery for a while now. The drivers have a hard time following the driver directions. Every order asks them to put my items by the carport door so that porch pirates are less likely to see it and steal it. Almost all drivers put the order at the front door. I purchased a butane lighter from Walmart. I keep ordering butane and they keep sending me Zippo lighter fluid. One is a gas the other is a fluid. Employees are trying to close up shop, people keep walking in, a lady makes an announcement that the registers are closing in 13 mins. Employees walking around audibly expressing their wishes for people to get out of the store.... Yet, the doors are open and floods of people are walking in. We check out right at about 13 mins. We are walking out of the store and an employees follows behind. He proceeds to yell...." We are closing, everyone needs to go home. WE ARE CLOSING, Y'ALL NEED TO GO HOME! A patron yells back, "MF, you go home!" How professional is that? In the state we are in today, doing something like that will get you killed and or maimed. I will be forwarding this to management. The ONLY reason I am not giving it only one star is because there were several people who did try to help once I started complaining yesterday. However, here is the story. (And after having averaged about $2400 a month spent at various Walmart stores over the span of the last 22 years, Amazon has never looked better - - because we're never shopping at ANY Walmart again.) Here's my post that I posted on my Facebook page: ***** Let's talk about Walmart. Walmart was founded in 1962. Most people are quite aware of the Sam Walton organization. Basically, that family has more money than their grandchildren's grandchildren could ever spend. And yet . . . ??!!! While I was in Kentucky helping our daughter, I noticed that a couple of the Walmarts I frequented had gone completely automated (since there was not a manned cash register in sight, I abandoned my shopping at the first one and never went back). And I was told that they were all going towards automation. A corporation that makes billions of dollars a year is going to completely automate and cost millions of jobs. I find that mind-boggling. Yesterday I'm at Walmart, I have about $200 worth of stuff in my cart, and as I proceeded to a checkout, there was ONE that had a human (plus one on the express lane/cigarette lane). I was furious and beyond annoyed. I told the lady who was in charge of the self-check group I was in that I would never shop at Walmart again if I had to check my own groceries every time I come. And of course she was commiserating with me because it's going to mean her job (and those of many others) ultimately. And there was not a manager on duty (!!!!) to whom I could complain - - and prior to my even getting in the self-serve line, I had tried to call the store to let them know I didn't appreciate having to check my own groceries when I've spent so. much. $$$. at Walmart over the years -- we even shopped at Walmart when we lived in Germany. Unbelievably, it was like someone was picking up the phone and hanging it right back up. SEVEN TIMES! So I told those ladies about it. And of course, they were worried about my angst and wanted to bag the groceries for me, but I told them that I was standing on principle and doing it myself, since I found myself with no choice but to be in that lane. So I called Corporate after I got in the car, 'cause you see, I was a hidden shopper for years, and there is not a Walmart in the Northwoods that would be operating in this manner, and after a nice exchange with a lady named Donna, I hoped that things were going to be better. At least I had made my complaint known. Tried to call the same Walmart a little bit later, and the same thing was happening. So on a wild whim, I tried to call another Walmart in our town, and the same weird thing was happening. So I tried to call the other two Walmarts in town (and I'm talking Supercenters - - I don't tend to shop at the Neighborhoods) . . . so I called Corporate again and launched yet another complaint about the fact that their phones weren't working - - because by this time it had been three hours since my first call, and surely if there were phone issues, there would've been a report made by each store, right? Nope. Unbelievably, there had not been a single report filed by any manager at any Walmart here in Killeen, Texas. So this lady told me that it was being expedited and I would be getting a call from the store manager personally. Which supposed call came today while I was indisposed, and as soon as I got the voicemail, I called back. And I noted that when the automated voice answered, it was the wrong store. It was a Neighborhood, not a Supercenter. AGAIN with people not even taking their jobs seriously enough to ascertain that we were both on the same page. So amazingly, for the third time in less than a day, I called WM Corporate. I told her everything, and I also told her in no uncertain terms that it's ridiculous that people cannot take their jobs seriously enough to get information correct, not to mention notifying the proper authorities when the phone hasn't rang in hours at the store! (That's what I said to the lady yesterday -- SURELY if there were actual phone issues, somebody would've noticed that an internal Walmart telephone wasn't ringing, much less working.) she told me that she had had MULTIPLE complaints about the full automation at various Walmarts, as well as the fact that she has heard that they are trying to go to full automation in every store! As she put it, "The feedback has not been what we had hoped." I guess not! People need jobs, and I am not scanning my own groceries. Unless they want to lower their prices - - to reflect the fact that these people have lost their jobs in all those stores. Fat-effing-chance. The woman at Corporate today assured me and reassured me that the problem would be taken care of. And I'm not sure which problem she meant. And I couldn't care less. I'm never shopping at Walmart again. read more

Great Walmart open 24/7 has everything you need. However if you would like to buy ammunition here expect to wait for 20-30 minutes for someone to finally come open the case and help. Every worker walking by will say they will call up someone that has the key. That person with the key is never in the firearms section probably not even with the Walmart if it takes them up to 30 minutes to come. read more

This Walmart is nicely located in a booming part of town. I particularly like the ready to eat deli selections and made fresh party trays. In addition, the competitive gas prices and drive thru pharmacy. It is open 24 hours which makes it ideal for those who work overnights and shoppers who avoid the busy normal operating hours. I went shopping on 05/27/22, just before 8 am, in the electronic department. I said good morning to the young female cashier, who didn't have a name tag on, she didn't return the greeting and asked me what I wanted. Other than being rude, she was professional. I walked over to meat section, an older gentleman, was polite and gave me a morning greeting. On my way out Ms. Priscilla, at the money center took the time to say good morning. If I could I would give zero stars. I attempted to purchase puzzle exercise mats from here. I was in the store and could not locate them or a employee to assist in the sports/outdoor area. So I decided to call and ask if I'm stock. Only section who answers the phone was automotive who told me they aren't in the automotive section. All they had to do was redirect me so I said ok I need to be transferred. If I didn't ask to be trAnsferred they would have just let me carryon for the day. They transferred me to have it ring the entire time I walked from sporting section to my car and automotive picked up again. Employees and maybe managers need to be retrained. They rely on self checkout not personal service then they close self checkout at 11 p.m. with only one register open and 20 people in line. I got in, got what I needed and got out without much of a hassle. This was a Sunday afternoon so I'm not sure how it is on other days as I don't visit this one often. Just happen to be in the neighborhood. The store was clean. Not too crowded, but plenty of people there. I was able to go through the checkout pretty fast, so no hold up there. This Wal-mart has a long way to go. They have no sports licensed fabric in their very sad and poor selection craft department. They sell snail shells but no escargo. No lamb. It is mid February and they still have Christmas themed food on the shelves. Big negative the don't match prices from there very own website. Very poor customer service. I am sad to say the discrimination, and hurt I received from the a worker (Bobby) at the deli off on Stan Schlueter. I walked over to the deli from Smart Styles to get my daughter some cheese sticks due to her appointment running over today. After informing the worker (Bobby) that I only wanted three cheese sticks, he shook his head. I asked was there a issue and he began to tell me how people bring their kids and feed them inappropriately which made me feel as if he was referring to me. I was humiliated as another customer was waiting in line behind me. I told Bobby to never judge a book by its cover. My husband and I are both active duty military and fight for this country and I have never been more disrespected in my life. I informed the manger and I hope leaving this review will be a factor in this never happening again. read more

I am not happy with the customer service. We stood in line at the photo center and the lady just kinda walked away in the middle of helping us to help someone else and then checked that person out while we just stood there confused. She couldn't find our order, which is fine, I understand, but the lack of information she gave us as to why our order wasn't there was frustrating. We didn't know anything until the manager (I'm assuming that's who she was) came to help us and told us that the website had been down so they probably didn't get our order. Trying to buy 8 items at 10:30 at night - they closed the check-out I traveled farthest to as soon as I got there and then I went to another aisle (8) and she announced it was closed after I had been standing in it for 10 minutes. I went then to stand in the only aisle that was open which had a long line, and then after 5 more minutes standing around, they reopened aisle 8 and a bunch of people rushed in front of me. I don't know why they think it's cool to shut down several lines at the same time when people are still in each line. It's super crappy service and I won't be coming back to this location. read more

We made an order online last night to pick up our order today. Between then and now the entire order was lost no record found. The big problem is that they took the money out of my wife's account. I went to the store and asked for a gift card. I was told that the system would refund my money in few days. A few days, $100.00 is nothing to Wal Mart but to working class families $100 can break a budget. Why should I be expected to bare the blunt of their mistake. I stopped by here to pick up workout headbands for my hair and noticed this was a newly opened Walmart. I just moved back here after 10 years or so and although it hasn't changed much there are many new establishments which is great. Anyway, every staff member I walked pass said good morning or hello and seemed very happy. I'm not sure if it's always like that or just because it's newly open. Everything was organized and clean. For some reason it looked bigger but I didn't pay attention to whether it was a super center or not as I was just running in and out for one thing. There is an electronic repair store inside which was different. This location is close to my house so I can see myself shopping here frequently plus the music was great!!! read more

I placed an online order March 29th for pick up for 3 items. 2 of those items were not available so I didn't want the final item. Ok cool wait the expected days to have the item canceled and return which was the 5th of April. Here its is April 17th and the order never got restocked therefor I haven't got my refund. Today I went to the store to get some items and decided to stop in to have them cancel the item that I no longer wanted nor needed. I get told they can't cancel the item that should have been canceled almost 2 weeks ago. I was told that I would have to pick up the item and return it to get my money back... WHAT!?!?!? so I pick up the I pick up the item and was told to wait 10 minutes for the system to update. Ok no big deal. I go load our groceries out in our vehicle and come back. I get to the counter and was told at first I need to wait 20 more minutes which then turned into a couple hours! I lost my cool. This order was suppose to be picked up by the 5th at the latest. I work with Buy Online Pick Up in Store daily and I know how majority of the systems work. The fact that it was never restocked, being told I HAD to pick up the item I no longer needed, and to be told that I would have to wait until go knows when for the system to update to be able to get my money back. Something needs to change with the system and with this Walmart! read more
