I was at this location on 5/20/20. The cashier at the register, name tag said Lindsey, was an unkept, frumpy, 40-45 year old, large redhead. She was very disrespectful and rude during the check out process. I have shopped this store before and never saw her. I asked her if she was new and she said "YEP". I was amazed that a person who was so untrained, had no customer service skills and already appeared to hate her job was a new employee. When I got home I called the store and asked to speak to the manager. After about 15 minutes a person came on the phone and said she was the manager, (don't remember her name) although she did not seem to be very educated as a manager. I told her about what had happened and she seemed preoccupied and could care less. I asked her for their corporate phone number since their is no way to file a complaint on line with Dollar Tree. She gave me the number and after I hung up I called Dollar Tree's corporate office. After over a half hour on hold a person came on the line. I told her about what had happened and asked how do I file a complaint with their corporate office. She said that the corporate office does not deal with complaints and that they are handled by the regional manager for that location. She transferred me to this person's number and of course I got voicemail. I left a quick message and asked for a return call. As of today (5/22/20) I still have not received a call back. This company, maybe because they only charge a dollar for everything seems to think they do not have to provide good customer service. The store manager could have directed me to the regional manager but instead she directed me to the corporate office. She obviously does not know how the company she works for operates. Regardless, this company, regional manager, store manager and employee are all examples of how not to treat customers. read more
