Over the last 2 months, one Hispanic young employee with red hair has made every visit extremely unpleasant with rude behavior and a terrible attitude. Today, she was also constantly staring at us in a very judgmental way and making us feel extremely uncomfortable the entire time we were shopping. No customer should feel watched or judged just for being in the store. The older cashier with glasses at the register was also openly looking us up and down and came across as very judgmental and unwelcoming. Customers should not feel uncomfortable or judged while simply trying to shop. It's disappointing because this used to be one of my favorite stores, but the customer service lately has been awful. I really wish management would hire kinder, more professional employees instead of people with constant attitudes toward customers.

(It was sorta a last minute calling-and-audible thing in the car.) It was pretty crowded on a weekday afternoon, but we got lucky with parking. (Right up front!) We needed to get a few things for dinner (we were currently a dozen peeps packed in Big Bro's house for a few days) so bulk was the way to go. We found everything we needed, and with the scan and go option, checking out was at ease. We couldn't leave without making a stop at the café. Mom had her usual hotdog and drink combo, and I had my pizza and drink combo. What a bargain: less than $5 to feed us both! And it's not like they're snack sizes: they were meal sizes! FUNNY FACT: I finally found something smaller in Texas vs California. I was surprised as I expected it to be much bigger compared to the Sam's I normally go to. Great run! Good to know they're here. It's nice there are items for $3, $5 that are usually really nice and hard to believe they're so cheap, things you'd find elsewhere for $15-20.

I usually go to the Dollar Tree that's right next to the Hobby Lobby and I'd be there for hours because they have a lot of great stuff and well...they're next to the Hobby Lobby. This one however, in my opinion supersedes that one because, damn is it the nicest looking one that I've been in. This most recent visit I had there, was so organized and clean. I mean, you can just tell that the manager there or the team there really care about how their store looks because it was put together alright. Granted the other location I'm always at, is a bit more busier, I think that should tell the manager to develop some type of plan where the team aren't overexerting themselves and can manage working better together to make the store look better. This location is closer to me so I'm probably going to start coming to this one more often, especially because I just feel like their service was more friendly. I know it's the Dollar store and it's cheap but I don't think that needs to be reflected in the service. I'll definitely be back here ! You can tell that different dollar stores do have different things though! I think the other one is slightly bigger as well so they have a bit more things but with it being messy, and disorganized it becomes a hassle to look through.
