I online bought slippers as a gift and needed to return for a different size. To start with I walked in circles looking for the men's department and a polite employee directed me down the mall to the left. The men's store is as big as the women's, and I found the shoe department. The man working the department at noon today looked for a wide, then helped me quickly return the slippers. Feb 2024, it's been years since I last visited the Killeen mall. Dilliards was having 65% off their shoes dept. Even with the sales, it was still pricey and they were short of staff and merchandise. One good note is that they can stretch a shoe for you for free but once it's stretch you can't return or exchange. Bought one pair within my budget. read more

Got taken straight to the cheap stuff that looks like and feels like it was sewn together by a five-year-old. I'm not a confrontational person, so, I just walked out after she showed me the cheap stuff. Recently ran into Dillard's at the Killeen mall. Found what I wanted in 10 minutes. Great selection of lounge wear for a new mom. Gift wrapped a large box and flat rate is $6 no matter the size. Beautiful box. Four stars instead of five because the gift wrap person was not overly friendly, not rude but didn't smile or make eye contact. A missed opportunity! Will return for another chance for customer service. read more

I was shopping around in the purse department. They had a sale going on and I was not sure of the price of one bag I liked so I asked the clerk to tell me. She came over and saw I had paper from the bag taken out and sitting on one of the display tables and I could tell she wasn't happy. I felt that she assumed I was going to leave it all there based on her tone of voice and how she was talking to me. I told her I planned on putting the paper back in the bag, but she wasn't listening to me and kept asking if I was going to buy the bag. I wasn't sure if I wanted it yet. Once she listened to what I had to say--that I would put the paper back in and I wasn't sure on my purchase yet--she calmed down and went back to her business. After a few minutes she came back. She was much nicer the second time around and asked me what I was looking for. I just wish she was nice in the first place. read more

Extremely angry ! I'm an avid Dillard's shopper and was just ran out of the store by two Asian women named Anna the manager and Jamera the worker. I'm at Dillard once a month and I shop with my girlfriend. I'm 40 years old and she is 30. The ladies are normally very helpful with us and get a clothing room for us ect. This time, Jamera found it's necessary to open her mouth to me, after two hours of shopping and being helped by another worker, and said I couldn't be in the dressing room. I promptly told her she was mis informed as not only do I ALWAYS go with her in the dressing room, that her fellow employee that helped us and set up the room for us. She began to argue with me and I told her to get he manager. In walks Anna who is telling me the same thing and I inform her wether I'm at Killeen Dillard's (the crappy one) or the the Domain Dillard's (the really good one) I have never had an issue with workers saying this to me and to get out of my face. She kept talking and I told my girl to leave all the clothes that we had been shopping over 2 HOUR FOR and left. I'm calling Michael Hubble the district manager and he has better fix this. Had no sandels for 5c toddler when we have 4 more months of summer here in texas couldnt order any to their store unless i wanted to pay an additional 8 or more dollars for shipping couldnt tell me if they were gonna get any more in any time soon any other store would have just order them free of charge this already not the cheapest store dont know why you an a shipping fee for it to come to your store read more

The customer service here is fabulous. I've been shopping here for 30 years and some of the original folks are still here helping me...love it! What I don't like is the website since Wells Fargo took over. Trying to pay a bill online is absolutely the pits and I wish we had the old format back. Very user unfriendly. read more

If you haven't been to the Killeen Dillard's lately, you need to try it again. The customer service is great now. I have shopped here several times in the last couple of months, and every time I have received excellent service in each department. The staff members go out of their way to help, but will leave you alone to browse if that's what you want. I'm used to searching for someone just to take my money in most major department stores, but not here. They have a good variety of merchandise and good sales, too. I'll be back! read more

I went to the shoe department to return shoes and unfortunately the two people at the cash register were not prepared to assist me. As I stood at the counter waiting to be assisted the woman was on the phone screaming to the person on the other end of the line that she was too busy at work and could not talk at the moment. The man at the counter was too busy talking to other women standing nearby on the merits of high heels in the bedroom and then which one of them was going to grab dinner for him. Once these two individuals had finished their respective conversations, the woman realized my desire to return a pair of shoes was more complex and required the assistance of customer service. She allowed me to stand at the counter for approximately twenty minutes without saying a word. Needless to say, there was no customer support or service provided because the customer service section was completely empty. I know this because I eventually grew tired and walked over there myself. After ten minutes of waiting for someone to appear, I decided that a pair of shoes was no longer worth my time. I will not shop at this Dillards again based on this terrible experience. I truly enjoy the chain and prefer to drive to a Dillards in the Austin area then to the one fifteen minutes from my home. read more
