Misleading Stock Info Cost Me Time and Money…read more I called McCoy's Building Supply twice today to confirm they had the item I needed. Both times, staff assured me they had five in stock. I drove 45 minutes from home and rented a 16-foot trailer for the day, expecting a smooth pickup. When I got there, they repeated the same info, so I went out back to load it--only to discover they had none. I then had to return to the counter for a refund, which they said would take 2-4 business days to post. While the staff was polite, the incorrect stock information caused me wasted time, effort, and extra cost. I hope McCoy's improves their inventory accuracy so future customers don't experience the same frustration.

A young man put me on hold for 30 minutes and never came back to let me know if he had anything that would fit what I was looking for. He just never came back. Let me repeat: HE NEVER CAME BACK.
