Definitely great customer service which is important to me; Never owned a Stihl but was taking in consideration his advice when comparison. I ended up buying the STIHL FS 91R Trimmer and super happy as how he showed me everything on the unit and even explained the warranty part, also bought the can that offers 2 additional yrs for the warranty, totaling 4yrs. Misleading Stock Info Cost Me Time and Money…read more I called McCoy's Building Supply twice today to confirm they had the item I needed. Both times, staff assured me they had five in stock. I drove 45 minutes from home and rented a 16-foot trailer for the day, expecting a smooth pickup. When I got there, they repeated the same info, so I went out back to load it--only to discover they had none. I then had to return to the counter for a refund, which they said would take 2-4 business days to post. While the staff was polite, the incorrect stock information caused me wasted time, effort, and extra cost. I hope McCoy's improves their inventory accuracy so future customers don't experience the same frustration.

A young man put me on hold for 30 minutes and never came back to let me know if he had anything that would fit what I was looking for. He just never came back. Let me repeat: HE NEVER CAME BACK. I called back after 30 minutes and the lady who answered put me on hold, but came back within a few minutes to say: "He said that nothing we have fits." Why he left me hanging for 30 minutes was unacceptable.

Make sure when you go to get pieces and parts especially if you're putting together PVC and CPVC waterlines just buy two when you need one. Don't ask why just trust me you'll be glad you did. Also if you're doing CPVC make sure you get glue that is for CPVC. You can buy glue just for CPVC or buy the glue that's for PVC and CPVC which is what I recommend that way you don't have to worry about having one or the other just use the one glue for both.
