Lady who worked todays night shift is on a rude power trip. All of their coffee was out. I tried to tell the attendant but she ignored me and walked away to get the register (okay fine). I threw the cup away after waiting for help for a few minutes and she got angry at me and my husband and said we should have told her and goven her the cup. My husband told her i tried and even so the cup is super dirty??? And she started arguing eith us and treated us as if we were stealing, so we left. Lets face it its a 7-11. no more no less. It carries most of the stuff the other carry with a few different odds and ends. This 7-Eleven is (and always has been) filthy. On top of that, most of the cashiers here are not friendly, they constantly grunt and stare at me, and they're always talking on their phone (over a bluetooth headset) while working. The least they could do is say "Hi" to customers when they walk in, or when they approach the counter to check-out. With the convenience store at Rotten Robbie (across the street) now renovated and re-opened, I rarely have to come to this 7-Eleven for my last-minute (and late-night) shopping needs! This place needs to step up its game a little bit. I've been here for 6 years now and have seen no renovation or updates on their part that make me want to frequent more. I now prefer to go across the street to Rotten Robbie which has a wider selection and is a brighter more modern store, that is often cheaper than 7-11. Would only come here for urgent milk run or ice cream craving (be prepared to pay a premium). It's parking lot can be filled with 'interesting' cars / crowd that make you think twice about what you might encounter when you go inside. They need to clean up their game a bit to be able to stay in business. read more

This is a long overdue review. I occasionally came here for snack and lottery ticket. One time a pack of beer. There is this phillipino old man who are really rude and invasive. It took him long to give me the ticket, he then stared at the ticket for a while beforing giving me, or staring at my driver lisence when I bought my alcohol. This man made me feel unsafe about my privacy. As if he is nosy and judging me at whatever legal business I was doing at 7-11. Woo-hoo, first! I'm a very seasonal person. In the spring I look ambitiously to the future, in the fall I look nostalgically to the past, and in the summer I look for a 7-11 cuz I could really go for a slurpie in this heat. When I lived at Whisman Station I would walk up here to get a Sunday paper and a slurpie, then sip it contentedly as I walked back home. Ah, those innocent days in Mountain View...there's absolutely nothing else special about this particular 7-11, except that once a drunk driver destroyed one of the columns out front. Great pitstop near the Quad. Nice staff are friendly and they have a good juice selection. Credit card machines were down one evening, which is rather inconvenient for us plastic carriers. Overall good location, usually very clean and right near Roger's Deli. Makes for a good lunch and snack spot. read more

This is our location 7-Eleven. When I need something I forgot at the store, this location does the trick. "Oh no, I forgot eggs! Can you get some?" I ask my loving fiance, he always goes and luckily the small crisis is averted. Other stuff they are good for? A beverage on a hot day or a snack stop before going on a long trip. Jerky, water, nuts, sandwiches (I surprisingly like their tuna) and anything else your little heart desires. The parking is just okay here, you can always find a spot but the layout and space I don't particularly care for and on the other side is more parking but the pavement is all split and weird. Also, while i APPRECIATE the staff and their direct attentiveness. I just wish they were more friendly. But I get it, they probably don't care for their job and I just add to that by coming in. Cashier is very rude and he always talks on the phone and doesn't pay attention to customers. He seems like he's mad all the time, he doesn't smile nor greets or say have a nice day. Idk what's his problem but all I can say his customer service is very bad and needs to be replaced. I also had witness a customer asking him something about being card for an item and the cashier Indian guy just rolled his eyes and doesn't say anything back. As if I couldn't review enough 7-Elevens in my own city, I just had to make my contribution regarding this location. In the past near 8 months that I've lived in Mountain View, this place has come to the rescue a number of times, providing me with a nearby stop to grab forgotten grocery staples as well as random items such as vitamin water. The PayPass(tm) functionality for various credit cards has yet to prove itself in working order at this store. Other than that, glad to have this place down the street. read more

I live in the area. The only store I deal with where I have to calculate the price plus tax myself. They usually tell me the price is higher. Just bought a hot dog. Price marked on the dog heater was $1.89+T, clerk & register tried to charge me $1.99+T. Had to show him the sign. No apology whatsoever, no commitment to fixing it. If you're a smoker, don't waste your time here - drive to the 7-11 at Evelyn & Mary! This 7-11 won't give a 2 or 5 pack discount when buying discounted packs of cigarettes. Normally they give you a $2 ($1/pack) discount when you buy two packs. But when they refuse the normal discount when the pack reads 75 cents off. So it's more expensive to buy two discounted packs.
