But I found myself with an hour to kill in the Monrovia shopping center that I still inexorably associate with K-MART, and I wandered inside. No quarters on my person, so I did not get a cart. I grabbed a bag of apples, a container of milk, perused the meat counter, snagged a pack of Swiss cheese for $2. Ended up getting out for under $20. Prices are definitely lower than big-name grocery chains, but I didn't feel like anyone lost money on me. Nice young lady at the register, fast check out. I imagine--like Gross Out-- you can come here weekly if your shopping list is simple, or if you are willing to mix things up with substitutes for what you were looking for in the first place. So for me, I'll give them a positive rating, but it probably won't change my frequency of visiting. Creatures of habit tend to operate like that.

Parking can get a bit hectic but it's not the worse location that's out there. Decent stock on produce, snacks, frozen section and Aldi Finds during my visit. Meaning that a lot of stuff was already gone, but it wasn't completely empty or messy like some other locations. It does get super busy here, but the workers are doing their best. Once you pay, they are already checking out the next person so push your cart out of the way or grab your items quickly! It's lively market ambiance-wise and not a bad ALDI to stop by if you're in the area.

Staff was friendly and welcoming. Their carts were a little annoying because a few that were unlocked. We're a little wobbly. Something that you can definitely overlook but does tend to be annoying if you're shopping for a long time. Must've came on an off day, cause they seem to be out of bananas, decent price overall.

This evening, I went to buy some frozen pizzas at this particular Grocery Outlet as there is this particular brand that my kids like (Amy's Spinach Pizza) and they just so happened to carry them. When checking out at the register, I noticed that they rang up for higher than I had recalled. Just to be sure that I wasn't looking at an incorrect price tag, I went back to the aisle to confirm. Indeed, it was $7.99 each rather than the $8.99 that it was rang up as. I then proceeded to go back to the person that helped me checkout and he called the shift manager, who told him that they could only honor one at that posted price rather than all 3 that I wanted to purchase. This seemed very odd as I've never run into any issues with any other grocery stores honoring a posted price, so I requested to speak with the shift manager. When the shift manager came up, she was rude and adamant that this was company policy that they could only honor one at the posted price. Her colleague that was helping her stock shelves jumped in to tell me "We don't even have to honor this price, but we're doing you a favor by giving you one at that amount." I replied back and asked a very logical question - Are you telling me that you don't have to honor the prices that you post for the products that you are selling? This is the exact definition of FALSE ADVERTISING! If the Store and/or Corporate Management is actually reading this review, I highly suggest that you train your employees and leadership team to 1) have better customer service skills when addressing dissatisfied consumers especially when it is their fault, 2) change your policies when customers call you out for incorrectly posted prices, and 3) have a better point of sale system that allows you to provide product credits without your employees needing to go hunt down an alternative product that is at the correct price simply to get the system to give the credit. Not only was this extremely aggravating experience a waste of my time this evening, but I sure hope this review helps others shopping at this specific Grocery Outlet. SHOP HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK! They are literal scam artists as they will NOT honor posted prices and try to squeeze literally $1 at a time from hard working shoppers that are trying to make ends meet!

I noticed that I did get a coupon early this morning so that is what prompted me to come in. Also have the app, so made it a lot easier to order my drink and then go inside to pick it up they have their own designated fridge for to go orders. Made it really quick and easy and my drink was ready and waiting. The service here was okay. The decor is definitely not as nice as the newer location in Duarte off Buena Vista. Overall, my experience was a 6/10.
