This is one of the worst 7elevens that I have been to. If you go here make sure to check your receipt bc they overcharge almost every time. I thought maybe they just forgot but if you tell them they give you a look and are almost upset that you are asking for the right price. They only care 1 size if slurpee so that you pay the same for a small as you would a large but only get a small. They only have the items that aren't on sale or the cheapest- for instance- they don't carry the smaller cheaper hotdog- only the more expensive one. The worst part is that I routinely go there with my kids who are on the spectrum and get 2 slices of pizza. I've never had any issues anywhere else asking for cheese or pepperoni which is all they will eat. Here it's a huge issue. They try to get me to buy the one with jalapeños or hamburger which they aren't going to eat - and honestly isn't even fair to force on a 3 yr old or 7. Whenever I go to the one in Walnut Creek they are so nice and helpful and if I ask for a piece of pizza they don't have they say- of course, let me get that for you! What a difference!!! This place refuses and says- I'm not making another pizza unless you want to buy a full pizza. No- I don't want a full pizza - I want 2 pieces like advertised. For Lafayette it's a shame that this place has so many issues and honestly are just mean and could care less. read more

This seems to be the only 7 Eleven where the clerk is familiar with their loyalty program. That means less time for me explaining that I'm using the app and how to use the rewards! It's located on Mt. Diablo Blvd. which is a busy main street in Lafayette, yet this was my first time walking in. The clerk was nice and friendly and the Slurpee machine was working and there was a large selection of Slurpee flavors to choose from. The counter was clean and they had an abundant amount of straws, lids, and cups, which can't be said of all 7 Eleven locations. When parking, it's easiest to park on the street, as the lot is tiny. The man was prejudiced as I told him he should please honor sale tags! All I wanted was the two for four dollar cookies four of them and two one dollar crumb donuts! He didn't honor representing seven eleven rewards policy nor representing seven eleven corporate or name.He was a disgrace and should be fired as he removed sale tags from items on sale! I don't often write reviews, but I feel it's necessary with this place. I live nearby and have gone into this store multiple times. The owner has been the same every time, he has a scowl on his face, he is incredibly inhospitable and disrespectful. I had hoped, the first couple times, that perhaps he was just having a bad day or that something might be going on his life, it happens to all of us. But, this man's demeanor has been the same every single time I've patronized his store. The store is unkept, poorly stocked, and the owner should consider another profession. This "sev" is dirty and the slurpee machine is never ready. Customer service here is pretty non-existant so we opt to grab a drink through a drive-thru than stop in here. The old man owner here is a mean old bastard. Just always in a bad mood and customer service is horrible. If you hate it that much just quit. 7-eleven here is on the smaller size, probably an older store. everything seem in order. lots of sausages available. not much coffee left. luckily, spotted a latte machine. brew: pumpkin latte (m.1.35) -on the sweet side, some pumpkin spiciness -an improvement over the coffee -for some reason, coffee kept falling over. made a mess at the counter. my bad -last part of latte tasted nasty. will skipped next time -notice expire date on machine for latte mix. drips: -lots of parking in the lot, so unusual. -usual friendly service. read more

Great 7-Eleven. Has an abundant selection of refrigerated drinks and junk food. I'm particularly fond of the large variety of 'Arizona' beverages they carry-- the tall cans at a fixed price of 99¢. They have enough different flavors that I never grow bored! I'm in and out with no delays. No trouble with parking. Never had issues with the customer service here. The two men I've dealt with are the strong, silent type-- just like John Wayne. If you can't handle that, you're in the wrong convenience store! read more

Came here at night craving a hot dog & they had none in the warmer. They have advertisements on windows for the food but none in the warmer. I asked the worker if he can put some in there & he said 'No not right now'.... the store was empty with no costumers , don't see a reason why he shouldn't. read more

I work at the hotel nearby... I've had the very worst experience here. I was nearly molested years ago by one of the younger guys who felt because I'm of Hispanic descent and he spoke Spanish we somehow had a connection... The young man showed me some bikini models in magazines and asked if "mine" referring to my breasts looked liker hers and let me know he liked the shaved hoohas .... He tried to take me into the back room to "show me" some more magazines. I was more shocked than anything and just got myself out of the situation and left. I'm a strong grown woman, I let it go and never went back unless it was someone else in there. I did consider contacting the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce as well as the Lafayette Police Dept. to report the incident. At times you have no other option as it is conveniently close to work. The older gentleman who I believe is the father looks like he hates his job or maybe it's just "ME" Not sure what his deal is.. Just 2days ago I came in to purchase a drink and a snack, I asked for a bag. He threw the bag on the counter for me to bag my snacks, I stared at him in doubt and he threw my snack in and pushed the bag toward me, I asked the beverage be placed in the bag as well. If looks could kill, i'd be a dead woman. I grabbed my things and on my way out I told him he needed to work on his customer service skills, I let him know he's always been rude to me and that did not come there often for that reason.
