Having an Aussie owner running an Aussie coffee shop was part of its charm, that now seems to be lacking. One barista was friendly enough, but the other didn't seem very pleasant and appeared to be running late, rushing in just before my mom and I walked in. Not the welcoming I had hoped for. The bagel sandwiches were just as good as I remembered, but the coffee was just okay. The flavor was a little dull and tasted more like cream and sugar than coffee. The shop is still nice and clean, but it doesn't feel like the cozy place I usually look for in a small coffee shop. I'm definitely bummed because I visit this area from SoCal often, and this used to be one of my favorite spots.

Even on the rare occasion when my drink wasn't quite what I expected, they've always fixed it quickly and without any hassle, which really says a lot about how much they care about their customers. What stands out the most to me is how they treat my mom when she stops in for her coffee. They're always so patient and kind with her, and that warmth means more than I can really put into words. Great coffee is easy to find, but a place that makes people feel valued and cared for--that's something special. Coffee on Main truly does that.

They contacted me via email assuring me the order was cancelled, when my next delivery was due, and thanking me for my years of service. My guess is a negative Yelp review impacts them. I like their coffee. I like the fact some of the money goes to eye cancer research. But beware, you are on your own to handle subscriptions and shipments. And because they answered my emails after multiple weeks of wrestling with this I doubled their star review- from one to a two.,,,,,,,,, For reasons known only to me I am changing my review from 2 star to 5 star.
