Willow Ridge Convenient And Deli - This seems awfully convenient

Definitely one of my favourite convenience stores in the area and now that it's right next door to one of my favorite restaurants in the area - Xi'an (try the lamb cumin) - I come here even more often. They're pretty friendly and they've got a pretty eclectic crowd coming in and out. Always busy. A little bit run-down but maybe that helps keep their prices down because they're definitely cheaper than 7-Eleven. I've even had a sandwich from here recently when my favorite restaurant is closed down for a few weeks. Not bad at all. My previous review: I used to think this was called "Convent" and would come here looking for cute nuns, because I always wanted to date a Nun, but then who doesn't? I've been to this store many times, as I used to live right around the corner. Lots of cute girls shop at this store (Willow Ridge is the street of cute girls, btw), that is one of my defining memories. Another is that the prices are a little lower than you'd expect for a convenience store in a rich suburb, and they have some more interesting selections. Service is really nice, and after awhile, the guy knew my name. I doubt he does anymore because I moved away. It's a useful convenient store near Willow Ridge on NFB that sells all kinds of random stuff at typically marked up 7-11 prices, and helps the local community avoid trips down to Wegmans and the now-closed Walmart that was close by. It was exactly as the name suggests: convenient. With very friendly employees, too. It loses a star for the high prices but is a solid 4, and is still there, churning out late-night goodies to college kids and locals, not far from the wonderful Seoul Garden and Black Forest Saddler, a horse-seat shop. Oh wait. No. It's Adler. A German restaurant. Yes that's it.

The store is pretty clean for the most part and they have a variety of slurpees and coffees. The coffees include a selection of hot black coffee, they have two kinds of cold coffees, and they also have a variety of those sugary coffees which you can get by pressing one of those fancy buttons.

A few days ago I had what was probably the best convenience store customer service experience I…read morehave ever had at any convenience store. And it happened at this 7-Eleven location. I was greeted warmly at the door by an associate straightening up some nearby shelves. The store was clean and organized in general. And the cashier at checkout was equally as warm and friendly as the door greeter. Customer service at this location is inconsistent, but this stellar kindness and care for the state of the store was worth my time to uptick my Yelp stars here! We frequent this 7-Eleven, well, frequently! We frequent it both in person, and via the 7NOW app for delivery. Both the 7-Eleven and 7NOW apps are personal app favorites of mine because the rewards points and deals are generous. 7NOW regularly runs a free delivery promo, paired with lots of product freebies and discounts. In-store savings and rewards points offers are just as bountiful, too. This 7-Eleven does a consistently good job with the hot-foods, too. The app regularly runs $5 pizza deals. For a convenience store no-frills heated-from-frozen pizza, it's actually decent! It is a short wait at the store for a hot pie, or have them delivered, and they still arrive hot and tasty. My husband is a fan of the taquitos, especially the steak & cheese and the cream cheese jalapeno flavors. At 180 calories per taquito, a couple of these greasy treats don't totally break the calories-bank either. Not healthy by any means, but also not blow-it-out-of-the-water gut-busters either for a decadent snack. I am not great at drinking as much water as one should, but I must say the 7-Eleven brand premium waters are quite tasty! As tasty as water can be, I guess, hahaha. But the 7-Eleven Pure and Alkaline water varieties go down smooth! Very refreshing! The app often puts up 3/$3 deals on the big 1-Liter bottles, too. For me to rave about water of all things, it must actually be pretty good! I'm creeping up on five stars for this 7-Eleven location. I'm a fan of several 7-Eleven products (the 79-cent Big Gulp Diet Coke is another fave!), love both of their apps, and have been impressed with the customer service at this location lately, which was previously hit-or-miss. If the friendly service stays consistent here, five stars are heading your way from me sometime soon, Beach Road 7-Eleven! Keep up the good work! :-D

Wow! This bee has got me all a-buzz!…read more I'm not one to review convenience stores, as I find most of them are the same: overpriced, stale candy, lacking in customer service. However, Big Bee is none of those things, so it appears it's got me expanding my reviewing horizons! I popped by here on my way out of Niagara to grab a couple of drinks for the ride home and was pleasantly surprised! They have some awesome drink deals (2 for 1 priced energy drinks, 0.99 for Red Rain cans, just over a buck for Fiji water!), as well as a really nice variety of drinks! From obscure drinks, to generic pops, to a rainbow of energy drinks, to Faygo, this little Big Bee has it all. The candy prices aren't jacked up like many convenience stores either, and the Fuzzy Peaches we bought didn't taste like they had been sitting there for over a year, which is always a good thing :p I noticed Big Bee also has submarines and other assorted fresh items, but I didn't try any of them. Customer service was super warm and friendly. It's a little cramped inside, but cramped with sweets & goodness of that sort, so forgivable ;) Great place to pop by if you're looking to pick up some generic convenience store items. I am a fan!
