It's like the are praying on those with low cash flow. Food/Drinks Like most establishments in the hood, it's merely all sugary drinks-- not a diet on a shelf-- Twinkies and Ho Ho's. Awful. Outrageous. Convenience Well, even if you wanted to use your credit card, the readers are busted so you still have to head inside, pass all the Funyuns and Mountain Dew drinks to pay $.49 more per gallon, then hope you don't get robbed of your cold cash anyways... by robbers.

I was last here about 2 weeks ago to sneak an iced tea for myself (Upstate Farms) which I don't usually drink anymore, but once in awhile it's not the end of the world. The guy that works here is really nice and I like to come here for gas once in awhile because they are such nice people. Plus it's open around the clock and conveniently located in an area with not much open late at night. I live about 10 mins from here. What I like about this store, despite the iffy service, is that they sell the Upstate Farms Iced Tea (Lemon) that I used to be addicted to. Most places don't. And I really appreciate that, as it's amazing iced tea. Still, the gas here is pretty pricy so I can't give it a 5. But the excellent service and the iced tea ensure it scores a very healthy 4. Be very careful in this parking lot in the winter... it gets icy, and becomes like walking on a hockey rink.

Anyway, I stopped on my way home from ladies night last night after my sister drove my SUV down to fumes. My 15 gallon tank was so empty, it actually took 15.9 gallons of gas... Yikes! Saved in the nick of time! I made the huge mistake of looking up while I was pumping my gas and I saw some of the hugest sharpest looking spiders ever in huge webs all over the top of the pump and roof... I literally just got the willies remembering how menacing they looked (I have an irrational fear of spiders). But I'm glad they were there and not in my yard or around my house... Blech! If you're nuts like me, don't look up. Well, maybe you should because then you'll know that nothing is about to fall on your head. Or maybe it is... If you are a AAA member, you can get 3 cents off your gas in every NOCO gas station. You swipe you AAA card like you would for a credit card transaction, hit "no" when they ask if you would like to charge you AAA card, next swipe you credit card (or ATM) for payment and you'll notice there is a 3 cent deduction off the regular gas price. NOCO is a WNY based business so if you're big on supporting local, NOCO can be your gas choice.

This is an awesome gas station in one of the lowest income neighbourhoods in the WNY region. Poor neighbourhoods generally have to pay more for gas (I have no idea why), but that is no longer the case around Bailey and the 33, because Fast Trac has - at the very least - mid-range prices, and often is cheaper than most competitors. Also, gas stations in poor areas are sometimes run down and overcrowded and claustrophobic. This one is the opposite. It looks brand new, it has more pumps than Arnold Schwarzenegger in 1977, and is spacious and almost - gasp - luxurious. I'm not sure what the whole "loyalty card" thing is about, but they take it to the extent that they advertise their loyalty gas price as prominently as the regular price, which I think is misleading. Hence the 4 stars instead of 5. It's sometimes hard to find a gas station on the East Side, and this place really ups the standards and raises the bar. People in poor neighbourhoods are just as deserving of clean, safe, well-lit, spacious gas stations as anyone else. Thanks Fast-Trac. Now just learn how to spell "track" and we'll be all good.

For it's size, it is very well stocked. In addition to the usual selections of beer, sport drinks and chips, there was a good selection of juices and blended teas. Not surprisingly the prices were higher than larger stores but the difference was not significant. There were 3 employees on duty so checkout was quick and easy. Being located on a corner makes entry and exit to the site very easy so I would recommend that when you're in the area you stop in and give them a try.
