Also an everything bagel with cream cheese, lots of cream cheese, warm and wrapped up well. More like a denser style bagel- not hard. Very good. I got chocolate in my Americano, the standard amount they put in was perfect. You can taste the chocolate and the coffee, not too sweet! Seating area is small and cute. Perfect for two people to sit and chat. Not good for a family or children. We did have our three year old and new born. We had never been here before and had already made our toddler wait to get a croissant so we had to make it work. If you know you know. But he is well behaved so it was fine. I would definitely stop here again if I didn't have kids with me or even to have a one on one date with my son.

I needed a change of scenery to get some work done and this place exceeded my expectations. Quaint with a tucked away sitting area that was perfect for my back to back meetings as they offered free Wi-Fi and plenty of outlets. Decor was bright and Instagramable. There's an equally cozy bookstore down the hall that adds value to the vibe along with a candle shop that did the same. Customer service was welcoming and prompt. I appreciate service with a smile. Secondly, I love a place where the staff can give suggestions when I give them an 'idea' of what I'd like to have and they deliver. Ordered a chai tea, with more chai than milk and their suggestion of a vanilla shot was delicious. Will definitely be back to explore the menu. 100% recommend.

Food menus are available and while your favorite lentil dishes from Amy's Place are present (lentil berry wrap, veggie wet shoes, lentil soup, lentil broccoli breakfast), you won't find any other vegan favorites on the menu. Three vegetarian Crew's Creations did survive, but no Margie, no Barb, no Biff. Oatmilk is $1.45 upcharge despite all major chains dropping fees for plant milk. As a coffee shop, this gets 4 stars for lots of espresso drinks, a seitan sandwich, lentils, vegan cookies, friendly staff, ambiance, and lots of seating - which is what it deserves if you don't compare it Amy's Place. It is NOT Amy's Place. If you are thinking of this as Amy's Place, it would get 2 stars as a serious downgrade of the prior restaurant. Again, not a great as a diner, but more than adequate as a coffee shop. Would love to see vegan stromboli and even occasssional specials featuring past Amy's items.

Service is fair as always, food comes out at a nice quick clip. Comes out well prepared, I'm never angry about the service here. I will say I love how they've updated the restaurant since my college days. The ambiance is pretty interesting. History lesson for all you folks, Amy's used to be situated and looked like a 50's era diner and it was wonderful! The update has cleaned it up, it keeps a fun retro appeal but it's more, adult I'll say. Its plesant, quaint, and really well done. Now, let's look at the food. They've changed the menu a significant amount since I was last here. They've swapped the entrees out for a more focused coffee and breakfast item list. Normally I don't love less items but they've hit the nail on the head. The coffee update was much needed and is greatly appreciated, the update to a more focused food menu so the staff can perfect their cookery, it's all very well executed. And, they went from cash only to accepting card, love it! So why the 4* and not 5? Primarily because there's such limited seating for parties, and also because the lighting is super dim. But those are minor complaints, it just means it's not quite perfect. Anyway, great place, great food, good times! 4/5 well done.

Upon walking in, the store looked like a standard "hole-in-the wall" place and had a simple selection of donuts to choose from. If you want to use a credit card, you have to spend at least $5. Donuts: I got the classic glazed donut, peanut donut, red velvet, and a cream filled donut. The glazed donut was soft and delicious. The peanut donut was more on the crumbly side but still great flavour. The red velvet had a nice cream cheese icing. The cream filled donut had a typical white cream filling. Personally, I liked the glazed donut the best - great texture and wasn't too overly sweet. The pricing here is amazing - $1.50 for great quality donuts! Easy to park on the street. There's no seating inside, so it's more of a takeout place. They also sell lottery tickets alongside donuts. It is certainly worth the visit along the way coming from Toronto.

I was unable to find a large amount of the color scheme but Famous were gracious enough to try and accommodate our needs. The pricing was extremely fair and the donuts were ready as soon as I walked in the door. These are THE FRESHEST, MOST AIRY AND DELICIOUS DONUTS EVER! I suggest that you get here by plane, train or automobile ASAP!

This place is usually pretty dirty, the floors and the tables. The patties are dry and not fresh, the burger was obviously put together very fast even though it's not busy. I have asked for extra sauce and got just a tiny bit. It also appears that the woman doing fries does not have gloves on, this was not the case at the McDonald's I worked, at as everyone needs to have gloves on at all times. They need to retrain the workers here or just hire faster and better workers. The workers also need to tie their long hair back and put on a hair net. These workers are too slow for McDonald's. This McDonald's is no "fast food" restaurant. It's "slow food" restaurant with the low quality slow food. And they need to go out to the dining area and restrooms to do cleaning sometimes. Tables and floor always dirty, and the restrooms? Poop stains on toilet, piss stains on the floor, absolutely disgusting. Super slow, super low quality, super nasty. Fire all of them and hire better workers.

I've lived withing walking distance of this place for an entire year, and every single time I go here it's some BS or another. After a long day, I stopped here to purchase a couple of things on my way home. I needed an item from the cooler, but the section had a wet floor sign up/was slightly damp from a recent mopping. (At least they're clean?) I walked past the sign (clearly aware the floor was damp) and proceeded to get my item and go to the register. At this point, the moron cashier wants to make a scene about how a wet floor sign means that whole section of the store was closed off. LMFAO um no? A yellow "caution, wet floor" sign means proceed with caution so you don't bust your behind. On the other hand, a "Do not enter" sign would mean...let's see...do not enter? He proceeded to argue with me, making a huge scene and saying I should have waited on the long line to ask him to get me a soda from the cooler and then wait on line AGAIN to pay for said soda. Did I mention the line was TO THE BACK OF THE STORE? I mean THE BACK OF THE STORE EXCEPT THE WHOLE SECTION THAT WAS "CLOSED" LMFAO. I can't. This continued for a while--I honestly would have apologized for stepping on his wet floor if he had not made such a disgusting scene with a patron whose $ pays his hourly wages. He even called me ignorant, which I could not stop laughing about considering he thinks a wet floor sign suffices to close off all of the coolers in the store. This place should: 1. Close. There are plenty of other places to purchase refreshments within walking distance from this place, so it's not like anyone needs your rude employees who apparently block off whole sections of the store with a "wet floor" sign. 2. If you won't close, at least train your employees to have even a minimal level of customer service. That moron is going to pick a fight with the wrong exhausted, irritated, or mentally unstable person and end up in really bad shape. Especially in this part of Buffalo where you have some really colorful characters. 3. Invest in some "Please do not enter" signs so that patrons know that all of the coolers in the store are closed off (LMFAO). Or host lessons in telepathic communication so patrons can read the peanut-sized brains of imbecile employees who don't want them to go to the coolers. This was my last attempt to give this place a chance. I'll spare myself the headache and go to the corner store, the deli, the pizza place, the wing spot, the cafe, the diner, the jamaican restaurant, the other jamaican restaurant, the asian market, the 9 year old hustler selling me skittles at the gas station (b/c at least he asked nicely) or anywhere else that's literally within eyesight of this place. Done giving these morons my business.
