Usually, the deal on the hoagies are $5, Breakfast Sandwiches are 2/$5. I used to just walk in, grab these delicious breakfast sandwiches, now I have noticed, just grabbing from the shelf- it's not the same. Tip: Order it fresh/customize it from their kiosk- tastes better, I want to blame it on the transition to 7/11 BUT who really knows. I might be nit-picking but their fountain drinks aren't the same either. Nothing is better than a nice refreshing fountain drink, am I right? Never was a fan of the Big Gulp from 7/11 but WHYYYYYYYYY, WHY did they have to change their Sunoco fountain drinks. On the plus side- any size is usually 79 cents or 99 cents so If I toss it because it sucks, I guess I'm not too mad. On the Covid procedures, whenever I stop for gas, I always see someone outside sanitizing the pumps!

Not far from the Royal Restaurant, so after you get a Souvlaki or an International Meat Omelet at 3am, you can get gas instead of running out next to some golf course in Tonawanda and hoping that the tow truck arrives before the police do. The worker there when I went in awhile ago was so nice. When he found out I was new to the neighborhood, he gave me a "Bills" schedule & when he found out I'm a "Bud Light" girl, he gave me a free , tall Bud Light beer Koozie/Cozy. The gas prices are about average but the service inside is really nice and they always have pumps free and it's quick and efficient and has helped me out on a number of occasions when I was in need in the area. I have a habit of almost running out of gas far too often, and was very grateful this existed in the winter time. I also filled up here a few weeks ago. Very friendly as usual.

It's right across the street from Rancho Venezuelan food (try it), and is a regular stop for me now if I need gas on the west side. I have had my NYS inspection on my Honda CRV done at Joe"s for 6 years…read more I love that they do a top off of all fluids and an oil change and rotate the tires all with the inspection! The prices here are less than I would pay at the dealer. I know if they find something wrong that Mark the owner will call me himself to tell me and ask if I want it fixed before he charges me. I have total trust in Mark and his team!

Brought my car in for an inspection (cost me $29 last year --- $21 for the inspection & the rest…read moreparts & labor for a minor issue. Asked if they could do an oil change but they declined...said they weren't able to do this on an Audi). This year brought it in for inspection again. They asked if I wanted anything else done - I said no. Charged me over $80 for the inspection (still $21) PLUS topping off fluids & removing (but NOT rotating) tires, etc. The bill also recommended oil change but said I declined (true, but now they CAN change oil on an Audi?!?!). When I challenged why the extra $60 of stuff beyond inspection was done, the owner justified it as that it is their policy to make sure car was in proper working order (including topping off fluids, etc.), that this was posted on their wall & said he'd talk to his staff to make sure this was more clear to avoid future "misunderstandings." $60 extra isn't the end of the world but this is obviously up-charging with a hand waving explanation. No way would I trust them with ANY type of repair.

I only ran in today to grab my mother some lottery tickets. I like going in here and having subs and food made for me. They used to except food stamps for subs, which they no longer do. They also had great amazing roast beef sandwiches on Kimilwick rolls. They have the normal things that a convenient store has ,but more . The gas prices here were average which was nice, but what sealed the deal for me was the staff here. The station attendant was the most polite person we had interacted with in a while and before we left she had put a few smiles on our faces. The bathrooms here were clean, the convenience store was large and the coffee here was actually tasty. In the end this would have been just an average station but the employee was phenomenal.

In seriousness though I think the design is a little African, perhaps in honour of Madiba. It's a lovely concept and I really enjoy stopping here partly because of the exterior decor and the name of the place. I can't give it 5 stars because it has pretty xxpensive gas, and despute the good convenience selection, that stuff is not cheap either. Great concept and always a pleasure to shop here.
