Zinni's "Friendly" Service not so friendly. Got gas in the morning and paid with the mobile app. It was my first time getting gas there. Little did I know that this station I was filling gas is "full service", and gas price was 50 cents more expensive.
Recently I have been trying to adopt with mobile payment system and always use phone to pay for gas, which is what I did, and partly why I did not realize the higher sticker price. So after filling my gas halfway and I was puzzled why this particular side is more expensive, I went inside to inquire how come the price was so much higher vs other pumps. They told me it's a full service pump. I have never seen a full service station around the area for any station. Additionally no one informed me. I kindly requested if I can get refund because it was the first time and I have never known it was a full service station.
The guys in the office were so rude, "I was standing right next to your car and you were looking at your phone." Yes, I was using my smartphone to pay gas. The problem is he did not even say a word to me, or even offered me the service. He could have simply said, excuse me sir, it's a full service, would you like me to fill gas for you. Instead, "Oh look around, we have 6 signs around, you can't see yourself?". "I was standing right next to your car, and you were looking at your phone". Sure, how come you so willfully ignored me when I came out to fill the gas? If you were already out, you failed to say a single word to me while I was filling the gas myself to offer your BS "full service".
Of course you would decline for refund since I can see that's really a perfect way to scam people's few extra dollars. What an honest business! I wonder how many people had this happened to them. Good thing there are lots of gas stations around. I am sure you're glad you made a few dollars extra, but surely I will save myself some unwanted frustration and never going back to your gas station. read more
