I'd rather go over to Highland/Colvin for air if I needed. But this place is suitable for gas.

This great when it's cold out or if I'm feeling tired after work. If you go to the full service pump employees will wash your windows while the gas is pumping and they ask if you'd like your oil checked. I do believe Valero also offers car servicing as well, such as,oil changes. There is a small area inside to buy drinks and candy. I've been here many times and haven't had any issues.

But this location still remains open, just as a Sunoco Gas Station with a very small and limited convenient store. The real draw here are the gas prices. The prices at this station are usually always a little, to a good amount lower than anywhere else around. Last week I paid $4.19 a gallon, where most places are still over $4.30. Driving by today, gas is now down to $4.12. There are about eight pumps here, in a no-frills rocky lot. It is generally easy in-and-out, being at the light on the corner of Cleveland and Beach. I'm not totally sure if this gas station is still owned by Cleve-Hill or not. It is not on their website, but the name on the sign hasn't changed since they moved their repair shop down the road. So still look for the Cleve-Hill sign if you are coming here to top off or fill up. It is still very clearly marked Cleve-Hill, whether it actually be affiliated with them anymore or not, who knows. But if you are in the area and need gas, you'll probably save yourself a few bucks, or at least some change if you get it here at this Sunoco Gas Station.

They usually don't have cheaper gas than other places, but I still like to get my gas from here because they're good peoples, people. I've purchased from here a few times over the years, including once recently when I also went inside and picked up a soda and candy for one of my BFFs that I was with. Very friendly service, typical gas station prices, and it has the feel of a little shop that is being run by a little family, which I appreciate and support. In any case, there are much worse places to pump your gas in these parts, and I like this station and the people working here.

We took it back less than 20 hours later in the original package with the receipt and were told they cannot take it back due to they purchase them from a 3rd party vendor and they will not get reimbursed from their supplier, so no exchange would be granted. This not a huge dollar purchase ($18) but if you sell a product you should stand behind what you sell. Always thought Smoking Joe's was a upstanding business, I guess I was wrong. Please use your best judgement when frequenting this business.

They are far less busy than the Esso station slightly north of this station. Essentially the three stations (Petro-Canada , Esso, and Shell) on Ontario Street have the cheapest gas in St. Catharines and the surrounding area. One nice plus for this place is that their window washing liquid has soap in it (most gas stations just use water which is dirty most of the time).

The price gap today isn't as drastic, but in general this station still keeps prices at the lowest in the city, even if it's a fraction of a cent. During gas price hikes the gap increases, and you'll know because you will literally be waiting in line to fill up. You may want to weigh the time wasted vs the amount you save, as well as the aggravation of navigating the crowds. But if you're in the area and need gas, you can be pretty certain you won't save anything by driving around so if it's not crowded it's a solid choice.
