It doesn't help the "new Franks" that there is a 7-11 directly across the street. Hopefully the new owners can make a go of it in this competitive, low-profit business that depends on sale volume.

So, if you are right around Main & Amherst, its pretty much the only one. As a result they can have prices slightly higher than those others, which are close to other stations so have more competition etc.

It's close to Crystal (one of the best authentic Chinese spots in WNY), and it's on the North side of the street. It closes down at night, so if it's 3am, plan to go elsewhere, such as one of the several 24hr spots along Sheridan. And if you want to Citgo, then yes they do have a bathroom.

It's a perfectly decent gas station with average prices, I haven't seen any awesome discounts here, but I haven't seen it higher than elsewhere either. The cops often wait at this intersection or nearby to get people for doing 45+ in a 35, mainly students since this area is packed with student housing, so be really careful. As an aside, I'm not sure what sort of sport you would do while drinking Miller Lite, but whatever it would be, would be a MillerSport.

I've probably only been there once this year, though, and that's because the gas prices here are just too high for me. Delta Sonic and a few random Mobils and Sunocos are usually a good few cents cheaper, and don't get me started on the Indian Reservations in Akron, Sanborn, and Irving. There's a Gulf in class between some gas stations, and this has become one I usually don't frequent anymore.

Things are quite pricey & not a large selection of pre-made food. There is a LARGE selection of lottery tickets though, so if you're an instant scratch off lottery ticket addict, come to this store. They have a lot to choose from. The man who's usually in there is great. He's so nice & always jokes around.' The woman today, I've never seen her before. Getting in/out is still tricky as it's on Niagara Falls Blvd., but you just need to be patient and you'll get where you want to go. Per usual, inside was bright, warm and clean. Taking advantage of their great rewards program, I had a buy one, get one free Bundlet offer and it lined up with a weekend I could take advantage. I ordered a Red Velvet Bundlet, a favorite of mine for years now. The other Bundlet being the February 2026 limited-time flavor, Banana Pudding Cake Made with NILLA Wafers - Banana cake baked with real banana puree, generously topped with Nothing Bundt Cake's signature cream cheese along with vanilla pudding (a nice burst of vanilla pudding stuffed inside the core as well!) and topped with a NILLA wafer. This was REALLY GOOD! The banana cake was excellent - Not too sweet and the banana flavor itself was balanced, not too strong. I loved the vanilla pudding on top and at the center, although I would've loved more pudding in the center, I was happy with what I saw. As usual, the bundt cake was incredibly moist and easy to dig into and the Bundlet is the perfect size for one. At the Amherst, NY bakery, as of 02/2026, Bundlets were priced at $6, but the limited-time flavor was $7, not a problem though, at least for me. I don't make it to Nothing Bundt Cakes often and have missed some great limited-time flavors, so I'm glad I made it out to get the Banana Pudding Cake made with NILLA Wafers! Friendly customer service and great treats, no matter which bakery I choose to go to throughout Buffalo!
