Got to the line 7 minutes after my order, I waited just as long to get to the front of the line , and they told me it would be another 5 mins or so, clearly my order wasn't ready. I waited another 9 minutes, while waiting the hostess sneezed on the counter that the orders were coming out on and kept checking her phone that was charging on the same counter orders were coming out of. When the hostess brought me my order she apologized, but said she thought a door dasher had stolen my order, how does that happen unless your on your phone not paying attention?!?! Sorry no photos, friends - we devoured our food too fast! We went in asking for 7 quesatacos and Marzena offered us the Quesataco box instead! She knew. She knew we wanted more than 7! This box did not disappoint. The box comes with 10 quesatacos with our choice of meat, all 4 delicious salsas, onion and cilantro on the side AND a container of consume for dipping. Everything we wanted, in one box. To top it off, it was cheaper than ordering them individually. $35 for all of it! I REALLY wanted to like this place and gave it three tries before writing a review. The place is cute, but lacks a flow. The oder area is awkwardly placed across the room from the front entrance and when there are a couple people in line runs into the back entrance/exit to the patio. There is a TV in the bar area, but the view is blocked by hanging lights. It is after 5 pm and there is no bar service! There is NO AC. Today it was cooler outside! If you want condiments and eat inside, they are serve-yourself outside. The tables inside are so close together it is difficult to shuffle sideways between them. Don't do it. It's so disgusting, I can't comprehend how I ordered at the restaurant and once I got my food it was already cold. I asked for the tacos to be crispy and the girl taking my order clearly heard me and they came out soggy. The burrito tasted like it was made from old ingredients and had this weird smell to it. THE ONLY REASON this business is still going is because enough people haven't tried but I 100% am not going back. The customer service was horrible and the food tasted old and greasy. Food was just ok, but what's really upsetting is getting charged an online ordering fee when we ordered at the restaurant also a service fee on top of that! That's pretty shady practices, instead of doing that add it to price of the food not in additional fees especially an online fee when your ordering at the restaurant that's total B.S. plus prices are a pretty high for the quality and portions you get. The taco truck that put the on the map for me has faded with the brick and mortar. The flavor and moistness of the meat is no longer there. The customer service is not like the truck either. The lack of people there this time I have gone as there were very few people on a Saturday. Hope they revamp and bring at least the meat back from being so dry and take time to fill orders correct as we had missing items. But will say if I still went out to be social would go as the space inside and out are great to enjoy oneself with acquaintances read more

The renovation looks good but now it's more like a bar type of place. Not so much family. Also the seating is cramped up and if you have a party of 3 or more you have to sit outside. It was too hot and they didn't have the misters on. When you order, the space is so cramped that people and waiters walk through you while you're standing there to order and we were the only 3 in line! I was super excited to try this place and I have left the restaurant with a stomachache and heartbreak. We ordered the Tijuana tacos, red tacos and the birria. The Tijuana tacos are like your typical taco but in a flour tortilla. These tacos were ok but I've had better. The red taco was so oily and not good at all. The one that disappointed me the most was the birria. I asked for a birria, which is sort of a red soup with meat, cilantro, onion, lemon, salsa, and tortillas in the side. What they gave me was just so disappointing. It was just a cup of salty oily broth with no meat or any type of condiments. I went to ask if this was actual birria or did I get something else. The people at the register looked at me all weird and said "this is the birria, you can buy a taco with no tortilla and throw the meat in the consomé". I was so embarrassed to return the food or even complain. I paid an extra $4 dollars for the meat and as predicted, it was not good. It didn't even taste like birria. I forced it down and now I have a stomachache. I feel played lol The only good out of this experience was their strawberry horchata, but other than that..... Idk what all the negativity is about with this place. In our experience, if you're nice to the workers, they're just as nice back! We love it here. Our food is always delicious and we don't mind spending the extra dime on things we know we like. My favorite things to get here are the Tijuana tacos and al pastor nachos, both with chipotle sauce on the side. Their patio is really cute and super chill. One less star is simply because of pricing as well as cleaning measures for covid. I think they could be a bit more thorough, but overall it's a fun, yummy place. read more

I will them a fair review. I went today and today's storm was absolutely insane. It seemed like the roof needs fixing because from what it looked like, the roof was leaking. I saw the outdoor dining area and it was pretty beautiful. I might want to come back when it's warmer and more dry. The service was pretty quick since I was the only one. I ordered the birria ramen and it was delicious. However, at the end I got a mouthful of the sone of the spices or something which was kind of bitter. I have been wanting to try this place for awhile but it's so far from where I live. I was on this side of town so I decided to stop by. The line was super long and parking was scarce. We ordered some adobada tacos and a few birria ones. I tried to order a michelada but was told I had to go outside. I went out twice and no one was there. I decided to ask the cashier if someone was serving at the bar. She stated that the bartender would be out shortly. The bartender was rude af. Not sure if she was mad that I had asked if she would be heading outside or what. She just had a pissed off face the whole time she made my drink and didn't say one word to me. I even said "thank you" after she made my drink and she flat out ignored me. The tacos were good and had a lot of meat. The guacamole was also really good. Ok this is the 3rd time we've had 559 first time bad but gave it a pass cause they were brand new went back two months later and food was much better overall in quality and quantity this last time was the deciding factor. Ordered online showed up at expected time took an additional 20 mins due to lack of communication between the employees. Then they forgot our beans and rice. I ordered a carne asada taco bowl no beans..got ground beef (?) and beans, no shell..whatever. I had a few bites and threw it away. My husband ordered 3 shrimp taco's for $10 and I was blown away about how much they charged for those tiny tacos with barely any filling. Wish I took pics...so my bowl and his tacos with 2 drinks $40 bucks! Listen, this place started off strong but you can't charge those prices with poor service and stingy portions.
