The tall, heavy glasses gave off a refined touch that fit the setting perfectly. I ordered the lamb chops medium and got them well-done; no red anywhere. Luckily, they weren't dry and still tasted fine, just not the juicy medium I was hoping for. The mushroom sauce had some flavor to it, so that helped. The side, on the other hand, was confusing: long, crispy carrot strips that looked like potato chips but didn't taste nearly as good. At roughly $50 after tax and tip, the portion of three medium-sized chops felt a bit light, especially since I later saw photos on Yelp showing some plates with four. Between the off temperature, the odd side, and the light portion, I actually left and grabbed another meal afterward. Great vibe, friendly staff, decent food; but for the price, I expected a bit more substance.

Great opportunity to take photos with cool decor and backgrounds. Everyone was happy with food. And with drinks. Service was top notch and surprisingly final bill was reasonable. As far as food - lamb chops were excellent. Pasta with steak was quite large and tasty. Seafood pasta was excellent. For me best dish was pistachio Adana kebab - visually stunning, with layered flavors and sauces poured table side Also enjoyed all the drinks. Especially bourbon with flaming cinnamon stick (actual fire made the drink warm and added nice smokiness). Lots of regulars, hearing "good to see you," and "I see you have the muscles," and plenty of smiles. A small hiccough--after we were seated, it took a while for the young, probably new waiter to greet us, but then it was all good, as usual. Generous portions, without being supersized, excellent branzino and pappardelle with short-rib ragu, and amazingly, a Brunello di Montalcino by the glass. (Aged enough the tannins smoothed out, with a lick of black licorice.) Full, we still made room for an affogato. We'll be back again.

Best thing about this place is that it's relatively cheap and affordable. So it's hard to complain. My biggest complaint is the wait time. It feels like they prioritize delivery orders over anything. Took a while for my food to come. Speaking of, the fried pork belly was pretty good. The fat was delicious. The rice was fine and the maduros disappointing. I was t a fan of how they cooked it. I also got an ice chai latte and that was good too. Overall it's a good spot to have a cheap decent meal. Whether that is breakfast or lunch if you're in the area. Taylor's Tayke: Cafe Chili offers a fun introduction to Thai…read moreflavors through both its afternoon tea experience and its full dinner menu. What stood out most was the variety. From savory bites and traditional Thai dishes to tea service and desserts, there was plenty to explore throughout the visit. The afternoon tea service in particular offered a unique way to experience the menu beyond a traditional meal. My Taysty Tayke: Get Down & Dirty, Expeditiously: Fish in the Boat One of the most memorable dishes from the visit. Fresh salmon paired with bright flavors and a subtle kick of spice. It almost gave salmon salad vibes while still feeling distinctly Thai. Egg Tart Soft, creamy, and incredibly smooth. The texture was outstanding and easily one of the strongest items from the afternoon tea selection. Crying Tiger Skewer Tender, juicy, flavorful, and everything you'd want from grilled beef. Simple execution done extremely well. Hot Chai Tea Excellent on its own, but the addition of cinnamon elevated it even further by adding warmth and complexity to every sip. Shrimp Bite Loved the texture here. Fresh shrimp with a bright lime flavor and none of the chewiness that can sometimes hold shrimp dishes back. Duck Salad Fresh, juicy, and tender with great balance throughout. Macaron with Grape The grape added a fruity sweetness that complemented the macaron nicely without overpowering it. Pork Pastry Flaky, savory, and satisfying. Dumpling Solid texture and flavor throughout. Curry Puff Enjoyable curry flavor but could have used a little more punch. Thai Wings Well executed with good flavor throughout. Rice Ball Sweet, sticky, and compact. A nice contrast to some of the savory items. Chicken & Shrimp Fried Dumplings Enjoyable but didn't stand out as much as some of the stronger offerings. The Experience: The afternoon tea service was a pleasant surprise and offered a creative way to sample multiple flavors in one sitting. Pairing that with the dinner menu gave a well-rounded look at what Cafe Chili has to offer. Best For: Afternoon tea, casual lunches, catching up with friends, introducing someone to Thai cuisine, or exploring a variety of flavors in one visit. In Conclusion: Cafe Chili shines when it leans into dishes that balance freshness, texture, and bold flavor. The Fish in the Boat, Egg Tart, Crying Tiger Skewer, and Duck Salad were the standouts for me, while the afternoon tea experience adds a unique element you don't often find at Thai restaurants. If you're looking for variety and a mix of savory and sweet offerings, Cafe Chili is worth a visit. Stamped by Elajas
