The previous contractor had left it with visible drywall screws wide exposed cuts, etc. It looked terrible. After panicking because our countertops were scheduled for installation and looking through Jasons Yelp photos, we knew we needed to get on Jason's schedule. He books out sometimes 3 weeks, and this was last minute. We ended up delaying our countertop installation by 3 weeks in order to have him do the work. Waiting for Jason to do the work was 100% worth having a plywood island top for those 3 weeks. He showed up on time and got right to work. His cuts are precise, and the extension he built looks like it's always been there. We ended up hiring him to extend our kitchen cabinetry to the ceiling and add crown molding to it, as well as add trim pieces to our cabinets' blank sides before we had them painted. We also hired him to modify and install a wood hood over our stove top. Everything came out perfectly. We are more than impressed with his work and wouldn't hesitate to hire him again. Unfortunately, that experience was a disaster. The floors were never properly flattened, and the installation was a complete botch job. We found Julian online, and from the start he was professional, knowledgeable, and confident in how to fix the situation. He came by, explained how he could remove the damaged flooring and would install everything correctly, and gave us a reasonable timeline and rate. We decided to move forward with him, and we are so glad we did. Julian and his two crew members were outstanding.
