Purchased a pair of $90 pants on August 9th, paid via PayPal ... received them August 15th, realized they were too big so requested a return label from their website. Popped the package in the mail the following day. While waiting for those pants to get back to them for a refund, I went ahead and ordered 5 additional pairs (in a smaller size) ... 3 of the 5 ordered were shipped to me. When I emailed inquiring about the remaining 2 pairs, I was informed that they were out of stock and that a refund had been issued back to my PayPal (this was on August 30th) Today is September 14th ... although the pair returned has been received, according to their website, I have yet to receive a refund from either order! Customer service no longer responds to my inquiries. Now filing claims with PayPal. I do not recommend purchasing from this company .. read more

I was in the area for work and decided to come here with a few coworkers around 4pm on a Tuesday afternoon and I felt like a kid in the candy shop. I ordered just simple 3 t-shirts on August 12, 2021. I received only 1 of the t-shirts. Until last week, I was getting messages from the company that they were sorry! were late! now those messages have stopped. I guess they've given up hope now too. First time visit. Small store with some great tactical wearables: apparel & shoes. Only thing missing are the weapons that go into each pocket, sash, or opening (hehe!). If you hike or go to the dessert, you may want to check this place out. The READY ROOM is where the public goes to view this small store. The Ready Room is right around the corner from the custom store for law enforcement members. It IS a MUST-SEE! Try on a pair of shoes that law enforcement uses. High-top boots come with or without a zipper AND for about $20-$30 more can be waterproof (at the zipper). I find the ATAC & Tboots heavy but comfortable & flexible. The sole is oil-slip-resistant while the top is liquid resistant & crush resistant. If I could give 0 stars I would. I've spent way to much money on this company just to do me dirty. I ordered an in stock item (according to their website) and they end up cancelling my order because they didn't have it, ended up contacting CS, I ask if they could match the price on a similar item and they say no, so they give me a coupon. I end up ordering something else utilizing that coupon and when my order arrives ITS WRONG! It's 1 freaking item I ordered. How hard is it to mess up??? Contact CS again and they send me the correct item and the "Patch of the Month" like it's gonna make up for my time and money wasted. Very unsatisfied with my experience. I live approximately 10 minutes from this store so I thought I know exactly what I want I'll go in and give them a sale. I was the only one in the store and was not greeted, I had to greet them. I looked at the shoes for a couple of minutes without even being acknowledged. I finally asked if what was displayed the only sizes they had. I was told "what you see is what we have." Ended up driving 30 minutes to Galls in Long Beach and gave them a $160+ sale. A simple "oh what size are you looking for" "we don't have that size but we can order it" would have gone a long way. This review is for the Ready Room, which is a small store tucked away near their office (separate building - around the corner). The store has clothes for both men and women (2 changing rooms available), along with shoes, accessories, and gear. They have good quality products and at good prices, which gets even better if you can get a discount. Law enforcement and first responders get discounts (I believe it's 35% off), so if you know anyone that qualifies for the discount, ask them to go with you. The employees are nice and helpful, but they mostly leave you alone to browse. If you need help, just politely ask for assistance and they're more than happy to assist you. :) read more

So I took the drive all the waaaayyyyyy to Orange County, because if you want to purchase anything here that's how far from L.A. you have to go. That's the rough part. The traffic is a killer. I went on a Friday after work . . . mistake, I know. Anyways, note there are (2) different buildings. The first one which is where Yelp will take you is some kind of training official business office building. There is a HUGE "511" on the top left corner of the building. So of course I entered this building first. (buzzer goes off) wrong building, try again. The correct building that houses the store portion is located a short walk around the corner. Save yourself and just drive into the industrial park and make your first left instead of going straight. The retail store is located on the INTERIOR of the complex. You'll see there's plenty of free parking. When you walk in the store, it's broken out pretty simply. Women to the right. Men to the left. All bags are hung on the wall to the left, on the men's side. There are (2) dressing rooms, however only (1) the one on the left when you face them is operational. The other one is being used as a storeroom of sorts. I had an interesting experience while in the dressing room. I was purchasing tactical pants and shirts. A man had left the dressing room with his wife. I entered the dressing room right after them. As I'm in my underwear and bra changing, he pulls the door then looks over the door. Seriously!?!?!?! I ask him, "Can I help you?" He says, "Oh, no it's okay". I finish, get dressed and walk over to him and his wife and let him know the dressing room is now empty. Unbelievable. Staff is not the most helpful, I had to keep running back and forth for different sizes as the women's slacks are all cut really, really weird. Even the staff confirmed that women never purchase the women's pants they always buy the mens pants. Which by the way . . . are considerably less expensive for the same brand, same style and same color. Ahem . . . . 511 get your game straight and fair. Small store, big stuff This ready room is only advertised via word of mouth (mostly). It is the only store of 5.11 in the nation (that I know of) that gives 35 percent plus Military/Law Enforcement discount, I purchased a set of 5.11 denim jeans and got surprised at the deal. It may not have all of what a typical 5.11 store has, but they will take care of your needs and desires as much as possible, make sure you have the right gear for the right mission. READY ROOM- I've been coming here for almost 5 years. Whenever I need a specialized bag for duty I try to come here. It's not always convenient due to work hours but when I do come it's always worth it. Good selection of bags either for long guns or just everyday bags. The staff is always helpful. Not only was Patty accommodating of my schedule, but in various interactions it was clear she went above and beyond. In one instance, I sent off a casual e-mail and instead of a simply e-mail reply, she looked into a screenshot I had sent further and found an issue with my order and had it taken care of. They didn't have the right size in the product we wanted. When asked for another 5.11 Tactical store location where a product might be located, the rep recommended their Carson store. When asked if the Carson store could ship the product to this store, the rep said he didn't know and he'd have to actually make a phone call?! But made no move to make the call - so we left. Really disappointed. There were three employees behind the counter and only three customers in the store. There was limited customer service and it appeared, little motivation to help the customer. If you know what you want, come here, but just don't expect much in the way of service. read more

So I finally made the 200 mile drive after hearing so much about this ready room. I will definitely be coming back as you do save quite a bit of money. I will address a couple of questions that I had found no help with searching the web as well as give you my opinion of other users review. THE LOCATION. The ready room is located in Irvine CA. the real address is 1340 Reynolds ave. Suite 123. Once you pull into the industrial complex look for the building with the big 5.11 on the top left. Do not go into that building. Take the small alley way directly to the left of the building around back. There you will find the ready room. Look for the R logo on the door. THE PRICING. First off don't hate if the discount doesn't apply to you. This store is meant for public service personnel. If your not a candidate for the discount you shouldn't even know about the store. Everything in the store is marked full price. Once you checkout then they apply 35% off msrp. All items are eligible for discount but you must present your official ID. No appointment is needed to shop. The store pretty much stocks everything except for uniforms The discount isn't as much as I thought but it's way better than full price. From now on I'll probably only go once a year to shop since it's so far away from me. THE SERVICE. The guys that helped me were great. They were friendly and even went to the "back" to get sizes for me that weren't on the floor. However I was in the store for about 10 minutes and never got greeting or asked if I needed help. I had to go and ask for assistance. At the time there was only 2 other shoppers inside so it wouldn't have killed them to greet me or see if I needed help. So bottom line this place deserves 5 stars regardless. At the end of the day I saved money so I'm a happy camper. read more

One down fall I have ran into is there sureshot tactical watch claims to be water resistant under a hundred meters this is a false claim I took it into the shower once came out and it was damaged. Bought a pair of shorts online but turns out, they run rather large. So I contacted support via email to do exchange. They emailed back the next day asking for my contact info to generate a Return Authorization (RA), I responded the same day. Fast Forward 1 week, no response for the RA number. I emailed back to follow up, FF again 1 week again no response. I did this at 2 more times since I wasnt in a hurry to get them replaced. On the 4th time, I decided to call, got a lady named Stormy and was very helpful. She sent me an RA number and label. She then said once they get the shorts, they will ship out a replacement. BUT they are going to a software upgrade for their inventory/billing system so they wont be able to ship out until sometime after Oct 9 (its middle of Sept at this point). I see shorts received by them Sept 27. I called October 15, they said oh no one has checked in your return (even though their warehouse showed received based on UPS tracking). I then sent an email 10/19 asking for a status of shipping. No reply. I called Nov 4th and they said it will be shipping the week of 11/6. Then I get an email 11/6 saying my shorts shipped. I called 11/13 to see if they have a tracking number. They have a message saying they are busy and will have to call back if I leave a message. I called again the next morning to see if they are no longer busy...still asking to leave a name and number. I decide to call the corporate office in Irvine, CA, 2 miles away from me. I was able to get someone to look up my RA. I was told my shorts have been "allocated" and should ship in 10-15 days. I said WHAT? I have an email from last week saying it was shipped, then she asked who it came from, so I told her it came from Customer Service but no specified name. She said oh that was probably just an automated response. I said it took 2 weeks for an automated response?? In any case I asked sarcastically, should I expect these shorts to show up in January and she said, it shouldn't but they are having challenges that it may actually take that long...all this for a pair for $50 shorts. Expected better service from a company that supposedly works closely with our first responders and military. read more
