Incredible pizza, the goat cheese with honey appetizer is to die for. 16 of us showed up here at opening time, the service is excellent. Clean tidy and fresh a great place for a good meal with friends.

Solid NY style pizza joint... We always stop by 4th Street Pizza when in town for Oktoberfest... It's really good NY style pizza and well-priced. The place is a bit rundown, but don't let it deter you from stopping in... 4th Street Pizza is a Dave Portnoy solid 7.4.

We had a group gathering at this restaurant. Ordered several large pizzas. Our favorite was the sausage and pepperoni. Great Atmosphere, good service and clean facility. Thank you

Such an awesome experience. The pizza was very good with the right crispiness throughout. I'd recommend this place 100%

Went in late before closing and we were so thankful they'd still make us some pizza. We ordered the meaty deluxe and added mushrooms. Wow! Definitely a pizza to be loved. I don't always love pizza anymore, but this made me nostalgic. Good ingredients make a huge difference! Nice people working there too! We were having so much fun and I didn't get a pic but here is a pic of what we took home. Yummy the next day too.

Happy camper and his meat (+black olives) pizza

This meal was about the best that we had on our vacation, and that's saying a LOT because we ate at so many wonderful restaurants. The pizza was incredible! We had the one with all the meats+black olives. The crust is just perfect. My husband couldn't stop eating it. I also had a salad with their homemade ranch. Let me tell you. That ranch makes all others pale in comparison. It's got extra dill which makes it SO yummy and fresh tasting. I could drink this by the gallon. The salad veges were fresh, and with that dressing, it was as great as the pizza to me. And then there was the hot goat cheese and honey appetizer. Wow! The pizza dough bread served with it was the perfect companion. I loved the goat cheese and honey so much that I ate the leftovers for breakfast the next day. Incredible food!

The place was slammed, but the service was still great and the food was great too! I would definitely go back again.

There's both tables and booths along the walls. If you're in a larger party I def recommend calling ahead. We've had cocktails here, chicken parm sandwich, grilled chicken panino sandwich, fratellis salad, chicken Alfredo, tutto mare, spaghetti, the al formaggio, and the affogato. Everything has been delicious, fresh, and hot! The only complaint I'd make is that although it says panini for sandwiches they aren't the traditional paninis that are pressed & grilled but instead are just sandwiches so that was disappointing to find out after the fact. The staff are so friendly and attentive we hadn't been for almost 2 months and our waitress still remembered us & what I usually order. I love getting the al formaggio but instead of ravioli I get fettuccine, I love being able to have a portion of all 3 yummy sauces they have. Overall a great restaurant! I love that it's family owned, fresh ingredients, and a lot of stuff made from scratch (complimentary bread is yummy). My only true complaint would be that they don't sell that creamy Italian dressing by the bottle, would totally buy it all the time it's so yummy! Anytime we're in the area we'll be stopping by.

We've been to Doxie Slush a few times in the past few years, and it's never a regret. We didn't get food this past stop in, but I do remember and can recommend the Coconut Shrimp Tatchos (sweet potato tots). I haven't explored the rest of the food menu personally, but the descriptions sound delicous on first glance. At this time, there are 12 frozen cocktails in a variety of sweet, fruit, rich, and tart flavor profiles. My wife and I tried the flight, which included the Blueberry Cinnamon Margarita, Dappletini, and Strawberry Amaretto Shortcake. We both agree the Dappletini was our favorite, but each is worth a taste for its own unique charm. Give it a try next time you pass through Hermann; you're bound to become a new fan.

Tin Mill Steakhouse - German Sausage appetizer

Being in a German town, we had been looking for some good German food, so I was very pleased to see sauerbraten on the menu. The mashed potatoes were the best part of the plate. The fried cabbage lack seasoning and flavor, but the most disappointing part of the meal was the Sauerbraten. I sent it back to the Cook and the manager to see if they could cut the meat. It was literally impossible to cut with a knife and the idea of even chewing it became impossible. Now when I complain at a restaurant I never do it with the intention of receiving any kind of consideration off of the check. However, our waiter came back to tell me that the sauerbraten had been taken off of the bill. I explained that wasn't necessary and went ahead and paid the bill. Interestingly, the sauerbraten had not been removed from the Bill and I paid the $64 bill allowing for a decent tip for our waiter. My suggestion is find another place in town to eat.

We arrived with reasonable expectations, ordered a pretzel appetizer, a seasonal salad for me, and the chicken pot pie for my husband. I also ordered a glass of wine and he ordered a beer. It took more than 15 minutes just to receive our drinks, which set the tone for the rest of the evening. When the pretzel appetizer arrived, we were surprised to find that the $15 "pretzel" was actually just two pretzel sticks cut in half. They tasted fine, but the portion was incredibly small for the price. My seasonal salad was very bland--nothing memorable or flavorful about it at all. The biggest disappointment, though, was the chicken pot pie. Instead of an actual pot pie, it was essentially a bowl of soupy filling with a single puff pastry piece floating on top. For $25, we expected something much heartier and more thoughtfully prepared. The flavor was just okay, but it wasn't at all what was advertised or expected. Unfortunately, the service didn't help the experience. Our waitress was inattentive throughout the meal. She never mentioned any specials, didn't offer dessert, and was slow to check in. When we were ready to leave, it took far too long to get her attention so we could pay the bill. Overall, the evening felt overpriced and underwhelming. Between the lackluster food, the confusing menu execution, and the poor service, we left disappointed and unlikely to return.
