Slushies. I liked the apple one best

Good food and drinks. Was costing from out of town. Literally give me 10 of the Appletini slushies and I'll be happy. The fries and burger was great as well. Super happy to see a local business like this in Hermann!

This is a super cool restaurant in Hermann, which gives this town a hip big city alternative, and a great option for Cajun food than the other restaurant we'd visited before coming to eat here. I had a slushy of course. But it was the mint grasshopper one and it went well with the spicy Southern boil we had. I will warn that it was really spicy as the Cajun spice didn't disappoint. I would have liked to have tried the banana slushy. They have very catchy holiday names foe their slushies too.

When we visit Hermann, Doxie Slush is usually our first stop for lunch on Friday to get the party started! The food far exceeded my expectations for what I thought was primarily a slush bar. The fries were done well and the fish was great too. Both the drink and the food menus are very impressive. It seems like there are a lot of options for a variety of dietary needs. There is plenty of seating on a Friday, but I can imagine that it gets a lot busier on Saturday or Sunday. Service is very friendly, and decor is kitschy fun with tropical vibes perfect for a weekend out with the girls.

A bowl contains a rice-based dish topped with fried chicken pieces, shredded carrots, green onions, and sesame seeds. The dish includes sautéed vegetables such as carrots and green onions, garnished with chopped herbs and sesame seeds, served in a disposable bowl on a dark table.

This was our very first stop when we went to Hermann and goodness did it not disappoint! My expectations were more than met, they were exceeded! THE FRIED RICE IS A MUST! I am a fried rice girl and USUALLY when I try to get it anywhere but an on point Chinese spot- it's lacking flavor and taste. But ooooweeee!!! It was SO SO SO DELICIOUS!!!!! I modified it without egg and added in crispy chicken! WOWSERS!!!! The flavor....the rice....the sauce....YUMMERS! My slushee was good too but that food was absolutely on point! GO NOW!

Three beverages with garnishes, including a lime slice, pineapple, and mint leaves, are arranged on a wooden tray on a bar or restaurant counter. The drinks are in clear cups, with two black straws. The background features a neon pink duck sign and a wall with horizontal blue and teal stripes, creating a vibrant, nightlife atmosphere.

I love Doxie Slush! I've visited here a few times and always had a great experience. The staff is always kind, I wish I knew their names, but there's a guy with a top hat at the door and he rocks - and the tall gentleman behind the counter with the white hair, both amazing, every single time. (Next time I'll get their names, I promise!) The food here is AMAZING! Try the sourdough grilled cheese and chowder, you won't regret it, it's the greatest. Drinks are delicious and just strong enough. Doxie Slush is always a go to when I visit Hermann and I want to take everyone that I know.

The cutest spot in Hermann for a frozen cocktail or mocktail! I suggest getting the sampler try so you can try 3 different kinds! My personal favorite was the rosé flavor. This would be such a fun spot for a girls night or date night!

Stopped by Doxie Slush while in Hermann and LOVED it. We stopped by for dinner and drinks on a Thursday night. They have a tiny little patio, and we were able to sit there and enjoy our food and drinks. I am not a picky eater, so I asked what the employee recommended and followed his suggestions. We got the brunch burger, and a flight of drinks with the G&T, banana carajillo, and the frose. Everything was very good. The frose was sweeter than I was expecting, and the G&T was my favorite. Definitely a place to stop while in Hermann!

L to R : strawberry shortcake, pineapple and blood sangria - A wooden flight board holds three frozen cocktails, each with a different color: pink, yellow, and red. The pink cocktail is garnished with a dollop of whipped cream and a cherry, the yellow with a mint leaf and a pineapple slice, and the red with a blueberry. Each drink has a black straw. The background shows other drinks, food, and people dining outdoors.

It's a cute little. First time trying it. Looks could be deceiving. The main thing you notice is the slushie machines when you first walked in. Not a whole lot of decor but the food was fantastic! The slushies are really good too. Right balance of alcohol and fruits. The staff is really nice and friendly.

Great dining option in Hermann MO. We ordered pork belly fried rice with teriyaki glaze, garlic cojita wings, pineapple teriyaki wings and grilled cheese. We also cooled off with a variety of slushies both alcohol and non-alcohol. Food was delicious and also a good variety of options for burgers, wings, fried rice and seafood. Many gluten friendly option available. Their specialty is alcohol slushies with over a dozen different flavors. Good service and clean facilities. Highly recommend. Thank you

Second time here and this won't be the last. The food we try here amazes us every time. The drinks are unique in flavor and in presentation. The honey lavender lemonade slush was our favorite but all of them had a great flavor and decoration. The server, also named Philipp, was very friendly as was the older gentleman working there. Go for the drinks on a hot day, and stay for dinner. It's not the cheapest food option in town but worth it if you don't want to gamble. No regrets from our end.

Doxie slush is a cute slushy shop in Hermann. It's a great mix up from the multitude of wineries! There are lots of flavor options. I got a flight with the lavender lemonade slushy, Strawberry froze, and a strawberry shortcake slushy. I liked all of them but the lavender lemonade was my favorite. Food is also available at Doxie Slush

It was a great experience! When we first walked in I was a little worried it was going to be a more "wild" experience than I expected. But the drinks were really good and fit the vibe that is the Hermann area. The building was super cute on the inside with lots of great options to sit and just have conversations with your party. Definitely give it a try while in town. Great service and drinks. We didn't have any food, but I was told it's amazing and it definitely looked as such on the plates.

Flight (L to R): Strawberry Amaretto Shortcake, Blue Hawaiian, Strawberry Hibiscus Frose - Three frozen cocktails in small cups are placed on a wooden tray on a bar counter. The drinks are garnished with fruit and mint, with straws in each. Behind the bar, there are frozen drink machines labeled with various flavors and bottles of alcohol visible underneath. The setting appears to be a casual bar or restaurant with a focus on frozen beverages.

We had a party of 12 and we were told we'd be sat at different tables, no big deal. 8 of our party went to one table and the other 4 sat at a table catty corner to our party. We had separate waiters which I think was maybe their first mistake. Both tables ordered drinks and appetizers that came fast and were delicious....then things quickly fell apart. We were one of the first few tables seated. Our other parties tables food came out and us 4 at the other table was still waiting. We continued to wait while every table that came in after us starts getting their meals. Finally the table behind us that came in 30 min after us got their meals, we asked the waitress if she could check on our food? She came back and said it was "being plated." We wait a solid 30 more min and by this time our other parties table had eaten and were paying and we still did not have our food. Asked the waitress again who said they were waiting on mashed potatoes. We got up to check with the manager who was bartending who never once apologized or stopped to check on what was going on and only said "we got swamped." Which was a crazy excuse considering we were one of the first tables to order. Since the manager refused to help at all we talked to the hostess who was seating people and may have been the asst manager. She checked on our food and told us "there was a problem with the pesto." When our food came out my daughter mushroom and Swiss burger was charred to a crisp and hard. Finally the assistant manager took our meals off of our tickets. It was a frustrating experience for our first visit there and didn't leave a great impression. The food (minus my daughter's burger) and drinks were really good. I'm not sure where the disconnect happened but the managers poor excuse and the way he completely ignored us and the situation was pretty poor customer service. We come to Hermann every year and this year had brought people who had never been before. Sad they didn't get an enjoyable experience and my daughter didn't even get a meal.

It is very romantic and extremely picturesque. Make sure you check my review on the Winery to see the rest of the photos. The service and the food. This place, though it isn't indicated anywhere, stopped seating after lunchtime and took a break between 2 pm and 4 pm. They weren't kicking diners out, but also wouldn't seat anyone till 4. This is a bit of a shock for those just trying to get a late lunch and missed the 2 pm deadline by a few minutes. There is no other close option for snacks or something of the like. And unfortunately, the attitude was very much of a... "well, sorry that you weren't prepared!" We almost didn't return, but we wanted a specific item off the menu. And to rate this place! (Just dropped my rating to 3 stars from 4 as I think of this. When we did return in time for dinner, the same person who didn't recognize us at all cheerfully greeted and seated us. The waitress was very good and knew her stuff. Even so far as to suggest a specific wine with my dinner when asked. The food - This is the main thing that lost a star. It was OK. I chose the German Trio, thinking of getting a little of everything. And, I did. However, when it says smaller portions (see menu picture), they mean it! There was a smallish brat, an incredibly small and overcooked piece of schnitzel (pictured), and lastly some overcooked pork with a sauce all over it. I believe they get away with serving this kind of food for several reasons. a.) The sauce is amazing! And yes, it is on lots of the food or on the side as you wish. b.) The winery has a trolley that runs to it. So many visitors are "trapped" till it returns, so a place to eat makes sense. Also, the place's main concern is wine. The average customer is at least lightly sauced and will view this as the best meal ever because they are going to remember the sauce! Those of you who typically read my reviews often times know that I give each venue the benefit of a doubt and will go eat at them a few times to ensure it wasn't just a fluke. But not this time. I found nothing extremely redeeming other than the convenience of eating right after drinking a bunch of wine. This place touts itself as one of the premier, old school, and fancy restaurants in Hermann. It is not. Pick one of the others and have a better meal.
