We went here because it is probably the only restaurant that has more than 1 option for seafood because we do not eat meat and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was sooo good. I had the fish and chips and my husband had shrimp frites then we split and order of fish taco. All were very good read more

Absolutely blown away by this restaurant. It's above and beyond any slush buisness I've visited. Flavor is incredible. Drinks taste like actual cocktails. Non-alcoholic available too. The real gem is the food! I have a gluten sensitivity and alpha-gal, a tick borne illness that makes people allergic to anything mammal including dairy. They have TONS of options for folks with allergies and use separate fryers. This is incredibly hard to find anywhere much less in Central Missouri. To top it off the food is delicious! Please start franchising. We need you in St Louis! The only issue is that it's really loud inside. As in, I had a hard time communicating with the server, loud. Fortunately there is a quiet, shaded patio outside. read more

Fish & Chips were great! Hibiscus slush was yummy...so was the waiter! Great service!

Absolutely amazing food! Definitely worth a visit. The only downside is you walk inside from an incredibly hot day and expect/hope for AC inside and it is just as hot inside as out. read more

Have been trying to get to Hermann to try this place for a year! It was worth the wait! This place has great quality boozy slushies and food! We had a slush flight and every flavor was great and tasted just as described. The food was beyond what we expected. We had boneless wings and it was all chicken and really light breading which is how I prefer it #morechickenlessbreading Get to Hermann and try it for yourself! read more

What's not to love! Just a beautiful restaurant in such a lovely town hosted by a genuine group of employees who clearly know the meaning of hospitality. We started the evening with a flight slushies. Mind you, I have had a plethora of plain overly sugared slushies growing up in Florida. But these libations were speciality cocktails with fresh herbs, fruits, and amenities to accents the liquors and icee flavors. Well played! Second, the entrees! The tomato soup and their deluxe grilled cheese combo just melted my soul! Incredible combo! Restored my faith in ingenuity! Thank you Doxieslushy! And Griz, my puppy, loved all of the extra hospitality as well read more

Fun place for cold "adult" slushes in Herman! Lots of variety. Something for everyone

If you have the food allergies, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! I cannot thank Doxie's enough for knowing their menu so closely, making recommendations, and allowing me to have food I don't normally get to enjoy. The food was AMAZING! They can accomodate your gluten, dairy, and egg allergy like none other! The drinks and service were also on point. We loved getting to talk with Zakk! This was a highlight of our trip and we can't thank you enough! read more

Always make sure to stop in and at least get a slushie when in Hermann. Their Blue Hawaiian is my favorite, or you can get a fight and try a variety. For an extra bit of fun, add a shot to your slushie. The menu includes wings and nachos, of which I think are a bit over priced. read more

Doxie Slush - Nachos paired with a slushie = good time - Seafood Near Me - Hermann, Missouri

My friend and I stopped in for a boozy slush. (Which I am not a big fan of taste of alcohol so just tried hers...and YUMM. ) But my review is going to focus on the food. As soon as my friend and I tasted our food...I stated this was no "line cook" type of food. The combination of flavors in both our meals were astounding. I got the hot honey chicken with sweet potato fries and she got peanut butter chicken wings. We had no idea just how satisfying this was going to be. Can't wait to try more food there. Compliments to the chef! read more

Definitely a standout in Hermann. Food was amazing. Slushies were good. Staff was very friendly. Was there on a Saturday evening around 5:30. By 6, the place was packed. I had the pork belly fried rice. Highly recommend it. read more

well I'm obsessed. Doxie Slush has amazing drinks. I love this style of drinks/bar, as Narwhals is one of my favorite places in STL, but I'd argue that Doxie is better. I just liked the flavors more and the option to order food there. Food was delicious and I was very pleased that they offered vegetarian options. We got wings and sea salt french fries which were delicious. The staff told us that their chef is from NYC - how random and awesome is that? I loved all the flavors we tried. I was also really impressed by their staff's friendliness and their sanitation practices. I even saw them sanitizing the pillows, one by one. I will absolutely include Doxie as a stop anytime we are in the Hermann area. read more

What a great addition to Herman! Some of the most creative frozen cocktails we've seen. We had a sampler flight, and they were all delicious. The restaurant was very cute, and they had a great patio for people watching. We also tried the boneless terriacki chicken wings, and they were yummy. The employees were super friendly and informative. read more

You might think a fish joint with alcoholic slushie drinks and a mascot that is a cross between a mermaid and a doxin would be a weird concept, but you would be wrong. Go here for lunch. Some of the best fried fish I've ever had AND it's gluten free. The boneless chicken wings melted in our mouths, and the sauce (Kona BBQ) was on point. Everything seemed fresh, the seating area and bar was clean, and everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. We will certainly be back the next time we're in Hermann. read more

Wow the wings were so good!! Such unique flavors and super tender chicken meat. I can honestly say I've never had more tender wings before! I got the garlic cotija wings and my husband got the pineapple terryaki and both were incredible. The garlic cotija's breading was perfectly crisp without feeling too heavy. The vidalia onion strings added an extra bit of savory sweetness to the already amazing combination of seasonings. Definitely recommend! The guy working tonight said the garlic cotija were his favorite and now I definitely see why. We also split the crab (chicken) mac and cheese. They were out of crab tonight so that was a bummer but the chicken was wonderful too. I can imagine how tasty the crab would be though!! Compliments to the NY chef!! We also tried one of the seasonal slushes - the pumpkin spice old fashioned because 'tis the season. If you get this one, I hope you like fireball because that's certainly the dominant flavor with a hint of pumpkin spice. Overall, great spot, amazing food, and friendly workers! Would come back and do the wings again! read more

This place is delicious and the service was amazing. We were initially taken aback at the cafeteria type decor. Don't let this stop you from eating here. ohhhhh my goodness. The strawberry amaretto shortcake slush is to die for All of the drinks are so fresh and delicious. LOVE

We first came here in the summer and were utterly blown away by the quality of the food and the slushies. We are from out of town and can say that their spicy chicken sandwich is the best we've ever had ANYWHERE. This time I brought my sisters and they were also impressed by the food. Apparently the chef is New York trained and you can tell. In fact, this food is better than some food I've gotten in major cities. This place truly is a hidden gem and I would recommend it to anyone visiting or living in Hermann. This time we enjoyed the coconut shrimp, lobster mac, nachos, and of course that spicy chicken sandwich again. It will not disappoint in their service, food, or drinks. read more

Yeah, I know it's a burger and fries, BUT... They did it SO GOOD!!! We split the Island Burger and all the different flavors meshed really well. The fries were some of the best I've had in a looooong time! Why? I have NO idea. But they was AWESOME! And the slush was really, really good too! Kept tryin' to drink it too fast and got that cold headache many times! Would've LOVED to sample some more of THOSE, but we had other things on the agenda. Hope I get to come back here... read more

This place is such a fun and unique concept in Hermann. The inside is sleek and modern with an adorable homage to the owner's dachshunds and the incorporated tropical theme. When we arrived, one of the staff members greeted us and went through the menu. He noted that the chef/owner was trained in NYC. Everyone we encountered was very kind and helpful. I ordered the island burger that had grilled pineapple, sharp cheddar, onion strings, and smoked paprika mayo. It came with a side of sea salt fries. My husband ordered the 1/2 lb pineapple teriyaki boneless wings and a side of sea salt fries with the option to add burnt ends. Lastly, we shared a flight of their frozen cocktails. We tried the pineapple bourbon sour, the strawberry amaretto shortcake, and the pumpkin spiced old fashioned. They were all so good and refreshing. All in all, the portions were generous and everything we tried had excellent flavor combinations. We are so happy we tried this establishment, it was such a treat! read more

What a fun surprise to find this darling and trendy spot in downtown Hermann. PLUS it's one of the few good spots open on a Sunday eve. I normally shy away from daiquiri bars because they seem to all be sugar bombs. I was very impressed with Doxie's varieties of favors and that everything is freshly made. Yes there are some super sugary options for those who like that, and a bunch of other options for those like me. We each had a flight of 3, so I got to try 6 flavors. My favorite was the frose with the coffee one being a close second. We also ordered the nachos....YUM. I wish we would have ordered more because the menu sounded so good - and so different than what I expect in Hermann. The bartender was a delight. All in all it was a great experience. I will DEFINITELY be back. read more

My friends and I loved this place! We went two times over the course of four days, and joked about going more, but decided we needed to try other restaurants, too. Joel was our unofficial photographer, but was still an incredible server. He served us up five flights, each with a different variety of cocktail slushies. They were all tasty! We ordered lunch there as well. I loved the coconut curry, but also tried the fish and chips, crab cakes, nachos, and the burger. All the food was delicious! read more

If you want a delicious meal, a fun wine slushy, or both, swing by for a treat. My group had the Lobster Mac and Cheese, Loaded Nachos, and Fish Taco for lunch. All were amazing, but those nachos are a 10/10. You can do a single flavor wine slushy, or a flight....I suggest you try a variety of flavors to find what really hits the spot. And the staff are delightful and funny, but why wouldn't you be when there are like 15 wine slushy flavors behind you?! read more
