This time, I tried the Chancho En Cama with avocado in a gluten-free wrap, served with fries and Serrano sauce. It had a nice sweet-and-savory combination. The sweetness comes from the charred mashed sweet potato, while the roasted shredded pork shoulder, lime-marinated red onion, cilantro, and yellow pepper aioli bring in the savory flavors. Adding avocado was a nice touch too. Service: 5/5 I ordered takeout for lunch, this time but everything went smoothly with my order. I remember we had lunch at the restaurant and the owner and staff were friendly. Location & Parking: 5/5 Located in a large Foothill Ranch shopping plaza with plenty of parking around the area. Ambiance: 5/5 From what I remember, the inside has more of a bar-like setting with a moderate noise level. Casual and fitting for a lunch or quick meal. Overall: 5/5 Mamon has an interesting variety of sandwiches and flavor combinations that you don't see everywhere. Between my old go-to Choripan and trying the Chancho En Cama this time, there are still plenty of other menu items that give me a reason to come back!

It was a late lunch for us, and so the place was nearly empty with the exception of one other group. We scanned the QR code at the front counter and took a seat at a table to review the menu. It was a little difficult to navigate and some items did not have pictures. The gentleman who helped us was just friendly enough to go over some of the menu items. But after we placed our order, we never saw anyone again. We ordered the pork shoulder sandwich called Chancho en Cama. We split the sandwiches so that we could try two different kinds. We both really loved the flavor profile of the pork sandwich. I really enjoyed it and wish I had a whole sandwich of this one! We also had the Philly Me Up sandwich. This one was a miss for us, definitely. This was pretty bland and just didn't compare to the deliciousness of the pork sandwich. Our sides were good, which included french fries, and roasted cauliflower. The portions are pretty small for the price point of the food. We'd probably stop by again to try other items if we were in the area.

Great prices, service, and even better portion sizes! We ordered online and picked up in store. We ordered the steak sunny up breakfast burrito and the strawberry & cream pancakes. They do not skimp out here! I wish I remembered to take a photo of the burrito size before we cut it in half. I think it was the length of my forearm? We forgot to ask for a side of salsa but it wasn't really needed, the burrito was not dry because of all the cheese, guac, sour cream, and pico de gallo. My husband can typically finish his own burrito but this thing was huge and we ended up halving it! I also like how there was not an upcharge for steak like some places have. The strawberries and cream pancakes were thick and fluffy! It came in a stack of 3. Aside from the fruit slices on top of the pancakes, they also fill each layer with fruit before placing the next pancake on top. I may just use excessive amounts of syrup so I'll need to ask for extra next time but they give a generous portion of the purple white blueberry cream. For ~$27, we got full off our burrito halves and still have more than half the pancake order left for later. Seriously such a great find and can't wait to try out more items from Sunny Up! Definitely worth a visit.

This morning I did a search on gluten-free breakfasts in my area, and Aloha Stacks popped up on Yelp. They have gluten-free pancakes and waffles! Hallelujah! I was actually craving an omelette though, so I ordered the Avocado omelette which comes with avocado, tomatoes, spinach, mushrooms, and Swiss cheese, plus one side. I chose the tater tots. It only took about 10 min before my order was ready. The omelette was fluffy and they were generous with the ingredients. The only thing I'd recommend is that they add a salsa with it, as it wasn't very flavorful. The tater tots were yummy though! The price was on point at $16.50. The omelette was rather large and I could make two meals out of it. I will definitely return to try their gluten-free pancakes and waffles !

I was super excited to try it out for dinner and knew I wanted the garlic chicken sandwich. We pulled up on a Wednesday evening and it was completely dead. No problem... We make direct eye contact, I smile, she looks at me and walks to the back, with no body language or expression, to continue her conversation. We wait 90 seconds to review the menu, she does not return, but can hear her conversation. A simple, "I'll be right with you." or "Give me a moment." would have been great but we got nothing so we walk out. As we walk out, we see her return to behind the register (still on the phone - still no inkling that she had any interest in helping customers). I can't even recall experiencing a complete disregard for helping customers or making a sale. Maybe business is booming and they don't need our money...
