Come here a few times since they've opened. Seemed slow at first but happy to see business has picked up a bit. Their coffee is pretty good here as they use intelligentsia beans and I regularly get iced americanos with an extra shot. One thing I was pretty turned off by today since I've worked in the food industry in the past is the lack of gloves used when preparing the food. Even though a bagel is heated, there was still some real heavy barehanded preparation I would argue would put this food into the ready to eat category in California which would require gloves. I got the Elvis and prior to the girl prepping my food I watched as she just wiped her bare hands on her apron and touched other things in between making the food before full handing my bagel and banana with her long nails. I think this is a small change that could be made that would be more sanitary and after today, I have my reserves of reordering food until I'd see gloves in the process. The shop itself is chill. Not overly cozy but a good enough vibe to come and study or work in an open environment with wifi and maybe a little less buzz in your ear than going to your local Starbucks. John, the owner, seems like he really takes pride in making sure customers are happy and has always fixed something for me if my drink has not been made right and I really appreciate that kind of customer service. read more

We came here for the first time. The coffee was great, strong-- we had iced. We got blt's. The bread was too toasted, and the crust was inedible. It's all about the bread in most sammies. When my husband went to buy another coffee for himself, he commented on the sandwich. The man said he'd give us a half a bagel to taste. The bagel was bread in the shape of a bagel. Great little corner coffee shop! They are relatively new but I have already been 4 or 5 times. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and a great place to sit and do work or read a book with a nice latte. Definitely a fan of their iced vanilla lattes and their Vietnamese coffee. Love this place! The owner is super nice and takes his time to explain the drinks for a newcomer. My go to is the dirty matcha and dirty chai latte. The matcha taste is amazing! This place is cool....it definitely gives me hippie Starbucks vibes. I really enjoy how they are inclusive to vegan and vegetarians with their options. They are absolutely delicious as well. This place is great! I stopped in because I needed to actually pull out my laptop to do something and this was the first place I saw. Total fluke. The staff here is amazing! They are knowledgeable about the food and drinks they serve. Everything seems to be made from scratch, including the coffee syrups and flavors. The food menu they have is pretty extensive. Quiche, breakfast burritos, baked goods, all look delicious. They called more customers by name than anyplace I've been in a long time. They had a really consistent flow of people and it is no wonder why! They take the time to chat a little with everyone. Then they are really fast to get you your order. Something else I have to add. Most places you go now have a counter person that looks annoyed that you are making them work, and then expect you to leave a tip. I have always been in the restaurant business, so I feel bad leaving nothing, so I leave a $1 or a minimum tip at say, the other coffee place. Here, I happily tapped the 22% button. Went here for the first time this morning Everything was awesome my son has a special needs for vegan food he does medical issues and he doesn't like certain things so with no problem they replace what he does not like in the breakfast burrito my husband had smoked salmon and a bagel which he enjoyed very much the coffee was really good I had the vanilla latte yes I've had in a long time we will definitely be back this is gonna be our go to breakfast for Saturday mornings when we run errands they open at 6:30 in the morning which is great Had the coffee cake which is homemade by his daughter we highly recommend it it was yummy can't wait to come back read more

Ive an iced coffee nut and this is my Top 3 favorite places to get an iced coffee in OC. The coffee is super rich. The owner is so sweet! They messed up milk for oat milk and he gave us a DELICIOUS gluten free cookie for the mix up. The interior is so adorable and the ambiance is perfect for getting work done on a laptop. Its located right along the Whiting Ranch Trailhead, so it's fun to grab a coffee then go on a walk/hike! read more

3rd Place is 1st Place in my mind! The Brochacho Burrito is big enough to share as long as you are not starving. The bagels are baked and that makes them easy to bite into plus they are very flavorful. I had the Garden Bagel and all the ingrediants were very fresh.
