I visited this spot last week with my 18 month old and it was yummy! One of the few words he knows well is chocolate (‍) so he immediately saw the double chocolate chip muffins, pointed and wanted one. It must have been delicious because he ate the top part of the muffin and didn't want to share. I had a chai tea and the Elvis bagel. Both were also good...the bagel is a bit messy, but to be expected with creamy peanut butter on top. read more

It was ok. Had a large vanilla latte and a burrito. It was good but not great, especially for the prices. But the staff was super friendly!

Jon is fabulous!! He has great energy. He also had good suggestions for the menu. This was a quick stop and thankful for it.

I'm a coffee shop writer who's always scouting for a place with an interesting and authentic coffee house vibe. The courteous baristas are extremely knowledgeable, and friendly. The owner has un unbridled passion for cultivating great coffee, pastries, and a welcoming atmosphere to all. Whether you're on your way to work, or rushing to meet an editors deadline, try the Monastery Latte, with honey collected at a local monastery. it's divine. read more

The owner is a riot, the staff is always friendly and the food is delicious. The coffee is always quality as well. Love that I found this place near work. read more

The Brochacho Burrito!!!!! It was really good!!! Their iced Vietnamese coffee was also a delicious treat!

We had a great little hike and came upon this wornderful coffee shop. The staff were inviting and made you feel welcome. I ordered a cafe machiato and received exactly what I ordered (a true machiato!!)! Food was delicious and the outside seating was great after our hike! The owner John is extremely genuine, and cares about quality and consistency of product! read more

Awesome coffee and very friendly staff! Definitely recommend their breakfast burritos and lattes!!

The name alone is bad.Young employees working there don't know what they're doing, I ordered chai tea & they gave me a glass of milk with powdered chai, it was soo white that the girl had to put an extra scoop of chai to make it brown looking. Tasted like shit . Never going there again... read more

The coffee here is some of the best! Intellegencia is some amazing coffee and the chai is not sweetened thank God!

I frequently head to 3rd Place coffee for their incredible pour overs. John is both knowledgeable and passionate about coffee plus he's just a great guy. While he prepares my pour-over, he takes the time to chat about the various varieties of beans he is sourcing and what his preferences are. For anyone who loves coffee, they should consider giving 3rd Place Coffee a try - highly recommended! read more

Great little corner coffee shop! They are relatively new but I have already been 4 or 5 times. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and a great place to sit and do work or read a book with a nice latte. Definitely a fan of their iced vanilla lattes and their Vietnamese coffee. The staff is friendly, welcoming and helpful if you are having a hard time picking from the menu. I hope this place continues to grow and settle in to become a community favorite. read more

This place is has great coffee. Very clean inside, nice employees and a very friendly and handsome owner. I highly recommend. read more

We came here for the first time. The coffee was great, strong-- we had iced. We got blt's. The bread was too toasted, and the crust was inedible. It's all about the bread in most sammies. When my husband went to buy another coffee for himself, he commented on the sandwich. The man said he'd give us a half a bagel to taste. The bagel was bread in the shape of a bagel. I laughed and said no thanks. Imagine, lox and cream cheese on boring bread! I guess we had to give it a try. It got great reviews? read more

Come here a few times since they've opened. Seemed slow at first but happy to see business has picked up a bit. Their coffee is pretty good here as they use intelligentsia beans and I regularly get iced americanos with an extra shot. One thing I was pretty turned off by today since I've worked in the food industry in the past is the lack of gloves used when preparing the food. Even though a bagel is heated, there was still some real heavy barehanded preparation I would argue would put this food into the ready to eat category in California which would require gloves. I got the Elvis and prior to the girl prepping my food I watched as she just wiped her bare hands on her apron and touched other things in between making the food before full handing my bagel and banana with her long nails. I think this is a small change that could be made that would be more sanitary and after today, I have my reserves of reordering food until I'd see gloves in the process. The shop itself is chill. Not overly cozy but a good enough vibe to come and study or work in an open environment with wifi and maybe a little less buzz in your ear than going to your local Starbucks. John, the owner, seems like he really takes pride in making sure customers are happy and has always fixed something for me if my drink has not been made right and I really appreciate that kind of customer service. read more

Love this place! The owner is super nice and takes his time to explain the drinks for a newcomer. My go to is the dirty matcha and dirty chai latte. The matcha taste is amazing! No sweetener needed if you really like the matcha taste. The lemon bread warm highly recommend! It's made by them. Today I had the breakfast bagel with sausage on jalapeño cheese bagel. Ask for the green hatch Chile it pairs so good with it. read more

It's a vibe! Welcoming, inviting, inclusive coffee shop AND restaurant with bomb burritos, freshly ground coffee beans, STUPENDOUS flavored syrups which are made in shop. Don't even get me started on the sense of community and conversation. Since the new ownership, this isn't just another corner coffee shop, it's literally my 3rd Place, because I'm almost always there. Wednesday nights they host an Open Mic Night which is chill, it's a local hangout spot to enjoy sweet treats and listen to local artists perform. Check it out. read more

This place is cool....it definitely gives me hippie Starbucks vibes. I really enjoy how they are inclusive to vegan and vegetarians with their options. They are absolutely delicious as well. The only issue is the preparation take a little longer, so it's not a place where you get in and out quick. But I totally recommend you come check it out if you have the time to spare. read more

Been coming here almost every day for the past two months, to studying. Fantastic and welcoming environment. Happy we finally have that "local coffee shop". The owner and his staff are really what makes the home town feel. read more

3rd Place Coffee - Iced vanilla latte with soy milk. Homemade vanilla syrup. - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Foothill Ranch, California

I found the green tea latte disappointing as there was an excess of milk, overpowering the delicate green tea flavor. The balance between tea and milk was skewed, diminishing the overall experience. read more

They have no business serving Vietnamese coffee. I don't know what that was... yuck. I wish I tried it before I left the parking lot. They should do research and sample real Vietnamese coffee from Vietnamese restaurants... or at least Lee's coffee. read more

such yummy food and drinks! a super cute neighborhood coffee shop! we love it. service is always so friendly

This place is great! I stopped in because I needed to actually pull out my laptop to do something and this was the first place I saw. Total fluke. The staff here is amazing! They are knowledgeable about the food and drinks they serve. Everything seems to be made from scratch, including the coffee syrups and flavors. The food menu they have is pretty extensive. Quiche, breakfast burritos, baked goods, all look delicious. They called more customers by name than anyplace I've been in a long time. They had a really consistent flow of people and it is no wonder why! They take the time to chat a little with everyone. Then they are really fast to get you your order. Something else I have to add. Most places you go now have a counter person that looks annoyed that you are making them work, and then expect you to leave a tip. I have always been in the restaurant business, so I feel bad leaving nothing, so I leave a $1 or a minimum tip at say, the other coffee place. Here, I happily tapped the 22% button. They were that friendly and attentive. I leave very few reviews, but this place wowed me that much. I'll 100% be back! read more

Ive an iced coffee nut and this is my Top 3 favorite places to get an iced coffee in OC. The coffee is super rich. The owner is so sweet! They messed up milk for oat milk and he gave us a DELICIOUS gluten free cookie for the mix up. The interior is so adorable and the ambiance is perfect for getting work done on a laptop. Its located right along the Whiting Ranch Trailhead, so it's fun to grab a coffee then go on a walk/hike! read more
