She's usually really nice and friendly. However today she accused me of being picky, rushed me while I was picking my color. When I lived in Whittier this was THE nail spot. I moved to OC and stopped coming for a while. My Mom who lives in Whittier still comes all the time and told me to try it again after a few years. Went here on a whim today due to two of my nails beginning to break, so they were quick to apply an acrylic overlay to avoid further cracking ($3 per nail). I wasn't expecting to get a manicure, only repair, but I decided to get a regular mani ($12) which consisted of cutting/filing, cuticle cleaning, arm/hand massage, and regular polish (gel nail polish is an additional $10). She filed my nails A LOT so they're short now, but it's kinda refreshing to not have long nails right now, so I didn't mind. I disliked how pushy she was about getting gel rather than regular polish, so with that, just stand your ground! Lol I refused to pair extra for gel. It was very quiet in the salon, which I liked. I didn't get the name of the one who did my nails, but she was quiet, yet funny. It was a little bothersome that the staff all talked amongst each other rather than talking to their clients, but that's okay! The salon is located within the same plaza as 99 Cents, and has abundant parking. Overall, I'd come here again. She kept the nail polish away from my cuticles, which I appreciated. I decide to come this place, based on the previous yelp reviews. They have over 100 selection of gel nail colors. I came here on a friday morning and had to wait for 10 minutes. I got to the salon around 10:15ish and left the nail salon around 1245ish just for a pedicure and a gel manicure. They spent the first half giving me a pedicure and the second half on my gel maniure. I was not expecting to spend half of my day at the salon; wish they would have done both my feet and hands at the same time. It seems that there is only one person that does the designs, so i had to wait for her to do a simple design. You can tell that they are still starting their business as they seem a little disorganized and don't have enough employees to keep up with the demand. There was even a lady who had an appointment and also had to wait. So if you have alot of time and are not in a rush and just want to relax, this is the place. For now, i will continue to look for another nail salon and would return once they get organized. I had to revise my review. After one week of having my gel nail, they are already peeling, which should not be happening at all. I use to go to another place and they would never peel off, especially not after 1 week. I haven't been to a nail place in over a year because I only trust my nail tech. My nail tech was unavailable and I really did not want to wait so as you can imagine I'm very very picky where I go. I haven't been to a nail place where they offer swarovski crystals and 3d Bella most definitely offers them. This is my first time at 3d Bella so I'm hoping the following will help you determine if this is the place for you. I rated 5 stars for the following reasons: 1. Customer Service: I made an appt for 9:30 am on a Wed. I highly recommend to be the first one there with an appt. Walk in's are welcome but I noticed they wait at least 30 mins. I arrived on time and they were not open yet. Someone came at 9:35 am and my nail tech started on my nails at 9:45 am. If this is your first time you need to sign in. When you walk in no one says hello. They assume you already know to sign in and you find yourself waiting for hours. This was not the case for me since I made an appt for the first available. All are very nice and sweet and take each customer with high service. 2. Nail Tech: I read good reviews on Milani so I booked with her. Milani is extremely great at what she does. She's very detail and designs are intricate. See my pics for what she did. I showed her a pic of varies designs and she nail it on every single design. She went beyond my expectations and the total time took 2 hours for a fill, reshape and design with 3d on all nails and swarovski crystals on all nails. 3. Cost: They are very reasonable with their pricing and offer a lot of services. If you see my pics my nails are very detail and I paid $110. I would have paid more with my personal nail tech since she's freelance so knowing I paid less really is good for me. Overall experience I would still give it 5 stars because they pay close attention to the client. Book an appt every single time! Do not walk in! Book with Milani first thing of the day. Love this place just wish they were better with their scheduling. My cousins and I had our appointments at 10:30 and they had my cousin wait one hour after her appointment. This is not the first time this happens. We travel from far because we love how everyone does their job here but it is frustrating having to wait so long after your appointment. I am never disappointed with my nails, she is truly an artist and amazing at her craft! I am a full time hairstylist and my hands are constantly in water, I get gel and My nails never chip, even when we do crystals they all stay on. First off I'd like to say... I'm sooooo glad this place is back open!! I was dying without them! I have been coming here since they opened about 7 years ago. Milan and Vivian are amazing!! They do just about anything you ask... and are very talented as all their designs are done free hand.... The staff is very nice and truly professional. The salon is kept clean and bright and airy... Since reopening after the COVID shut down they have taken every step to keep people safe and everything clean. They take your temp when you walk in. Have you wash your hands and wear a mask. They disinfect every chair and use liners for the foot tub of the spa chairs. They have put up plastic partitions at the nail stations and spa tubs as added protection. They are working strictly by appointment only.. and as anyone knows quality work takes time... plan to spend at least 2 to 2.5 hours if your getting your nails and a pedi done. So Please be courteous and cancel your appointments a head of time... they have blocked off hours to service you and canceling last minute only adds to the distress this business has already been thru with the shut down.
