I learned about this place through Groupon (airbrush tan for $20, check it out). Just know, you get what you pay for because the tan doesn't last. The customer service was great from booking through check out. Everyone was very friendly and informative. My technician walked me through step-by-step where to turn so I would get an even tan all over. She also talked through how to take care after my tan with showering, etc. The reason I give three stars instead of four or five is because the tan faded so quickly. The product is the problem, not the staff. I've been to other salons in the Austin area that lasted much longer. I came in on a Thursday evening and the tan was great on Friday evening but had faded a lot by Saturday evening and was non-existent on Sunday. I had no streaking issues and the tan did not look orange, it just doesn't stay on as well. read more

i just got an airbrush tan by the stylist, Maddy! She was wonderful! I got the before and after sprays as well and my tan looks great. i am sorta fair skinned, but got a medium dark tan color and it does not look orange at all. she did a great job around my ankles, knees, armpits, and elbows which can be very problematic for me especially since i have dry skin. i have showered twice since getting the tan and the color is still just as dark! my hands also look very natural and are naturally lighter than the other parts of me which looks good. my face isn't orange or dirty looking! read more

the owner, a good friend of mine, persuaded me to stop by and visit his new tanning salon. i tried it out and the next day promptly canceled my membership with tan it all and signed up. 360 tans is the cleanest tanning salon i have used. personally, i have been to many salons in austin and san marcos, so i consider myself a pretty good judge. all the beds are very large, constantly changed out with new bulbs. they also have a great 5 second mist booth. every room has clothes hangers, hand sanitizer, body sprays and antiperspirant spray for your smelly pits. if there is a line, you can relax in their shiatsu massage chairs...ahhhhhhhh! typically they offer lotion specials and coupons for free tanning (add them as a friend on myspace for these!) plus they have month-to-month tanning which is incredibly affordable. and if you are against tanning beds, try out the monthly mist packages. i highly recommend 360 tans! read more

Yo I'm skinny! It never stops me from gettin' busy, I'm a freak, I like the salons with the infrared room... I once got busy in a Burger King bathroom!! So fine, I'm not that skinny (enter 360 tans) (enter Groupon). So I pretty much buy anything groupon is slangin' in their Beauty and Spa section and after doing some googling about the infrared body wrap my curiosity was aptly peaked. I had absolutely no idea what to expect going in and the staff couldn't have been more awesome in making me feel comfortable, explaining every step and being just all around so accommodating. Truly exceptional. As for the treatment, it was kinda rad. You basically watch a movie (of your choice) while you are wrapped up in a device that heats up your core temp. Supposedly you can burn 600-1300 calories a session and it has benefits to boost your metabolism, get rid of toxins etc. I can tell you I left feeling shrink wrapped. I really loved it. So much so that I signed up for a membership. I'm not saying this is some kind of miracle that is going to make me Digital Underground, but I am saying I loved it and it made me feel all pure like I did bikram yoga, minus the yoga. 360 Tans, Oh How I love you! Where do I begin? As a red head, I was specifically looking for an airbrush tanning salon in Austin and looked on Yelp for recommended local places near me. I read a review from a person who said how she did not feel uncomfortable during the application of the airbrush (as some of us like to tan the tooshie, too. :P); and I am glad I trusted the review because, I WAS completely comfortable and completely satisfied with my results (thank you whoever you are)!! I now feel it is my turn to speak up and make sure if anyone out there is looking for airbrush tanning, to hear why this place has my full recommendation! As a newbie to airbrush tanning when I first arrived, I had no idea what to expect. I followed the instructions on their website before I got there, and was happy to be well prepared because so. My boyfriend and I signed up for a monthly package together, but because he has olive skin, he was only there for the beds and the massage chairs in the front of course. I swear, its the main reason he goes! Ha! The chairs are such a nice welcome after a long day at work, or just while you wait... :) . The process is wonderful, and they provide you with everything you could need, privacy, kindness, and some serious art work with the tanning spray gun! After my first tan, I freaked!! It was INCREDIBLE! In 5 min, I looked like I had a perfect beach tan, but it was NOT orange! I had a tan line I could see instantly, and a glow that lasts 7-10 days. It's like instant happiness. I have never received so many compliments in my life about my skin. Me!? Freckles?? Go figure!? I appreciate them every time I go. The owners are amazing people, and I think they have created a like-minded staff. Did you know they invented their own tanning formulas because they were not satisfied with what was out there (the wife is a red head too)?? They have an amazing place from atmosphere, to tans, to products. On their products: I invest a lot in my airbrush tan, and their products and instructions lengthen my tan tremendously making it worth the cost, if you can spare the cash-- its worth it for their scrub product (OMG!!) gives you the best shave of your life, and your skin stays moisturized because, I have realized a big problem with airbrush is dry skin. One thing that stands out about this salon from the rest is that they don't charge you for "another layer" of the airbrush solution like other salons can do. The quality of the tan you leave with, will truly amaze you because it looks so natural, and you didn't have to lift a finger! I have spent my life applying self-tanner's, bronzer's and getting sunburns trying to have a tan. But, 360 tans has successfully taken hours of frustration off my hands! PRO Great TAN! Beautiful results, comfortable envirnment, etc.Got it on a Tuesday and it was still there by my Saturday event, though had faded quite a bit. CON If you don't buy a package they get really rude. Beware if you are using their two for one deal- they will try to sell you on a monthly package. If you say no, you will be treated like a second class citizen when you come in for another tan. The first tan, she was very talkative and did two coats. She was extremely thorough. Second tan was done in 2 minutes, with no conversation and just a hurried attitude. I had also mentioned that it was a little dark the first time, so perhaps she was offended? All I can think of. She was kind and took forever with the woman before me, who was a body builder who came in weekly. Either way, that rude service made me realize that I'll be taking my business somewhere else. They seem to only give good service for people signed up for packages. read more

I have always tanned but I have never done airbrush until last week. Everyone at 360 Tans was really nice and professional. I was really hesitant because I wanted natural color that would look appropriate in the office as well as look good on the lake. Jamie was really helpful in helping me make the best decision about my airbrush tanning. She made me feel really comfortable and I loved the results. I have since scheduled another visit and Jamie was able to get me right in. She is really easy to get a hold of and scheduling is a breeze. I've tried my fair share of tanning methods. I use to be an AVID bed tanner, like every day of the year. (I'm shrieking writing that!) Then, I got breast cancer. I remember laying in a bed with a towel over my scars, thinking what the HELL am I doing? Seriously. But I still wanted that golden glow, just without the chance of getting skin cancer. That's when I met 360 tans. I have been a "member" here for over 2 years. I freeze my membership when I don't use it but otherwise have it autodrafted and go whenever I want. NEVER have I gotten a bad spray. Yep, I stand in front of someone while they airbrush my tan on. And as I mentioned, I'm a breast cancer survivor, so I don't look completely "normal." ;) They have ALWAYS made me feel comfortable. ALWAYS. I don't use any products from them specifically so can't review those. Never used a bed, so no review there. The airbrush tans are what does it for me. You won't be disappointed. read more

Listen up, Gingers! This is the place. After a bout with skin cancer a few years back, I came to grips with my whiteness. I have tried the Mystic and VersaSpa spray tanning before and it left me stinky, orange and patchy. 360 Tans is the answer. The staff has always been friendly, but went above and beyond on my last visit. It was raining like crazy. They went out in the deluge and pulled my truck up to the front, so I wouldn't have to slosh through the parking lot and mess up my new tan. Now for the downside: 360 Tans will have to be for special occasions only. It would be quite expensive to maintain - the spray tans only last 7-10 days. All in all, I'm glad to have found 360 Tans. If I ever win lotto or have an unknown rich great aunt kick the bucket, I'll come more often! read more

This is the 3rd time I've been into this tanning salon. I always get their airbrush cause after years of living in Los Angeles & Orange County, my Asian ass can't take anymore sun damage. First time was before I went to Vegas for a girls trip. It was okay, the tan I mean, the girls trip was amazing... anyway, yeah the tan... I turned a bit orange but not too bad. I even bought the NG moisturizers which are a tad bit expensive. I still went back cause I had the 2 for $50 deal. So the 2nd time, I communicated with them that the first one was a bit orange, so the girl that helped me apologized and made sure she uses something different. It was amazing looking when I got out, but after 6 hours, after I washed it off, it was more orange than the first one!!! I almost died! I was leaving for another Vegas trip the next day so I couldn't really do anything at that moment. I know right? I went to Vegas twice that year, wohoo...actually 3 times, I think... Oh.. yeah again, the review.... 3rd time is worth the 5 stars and goes to MINDY!!! I expressed to her the two times I've been in and the orangy color I've been getting. First of all, she's such a breathe of fresh air. I love her energy! I even told her I wouldn't normally go back after those two times but I knew I'll find that right color for me and she did give it to me! Found my bronze match that's not orange but just golden glow. I loved her and my tan so much that my occasional airbrush tanning turned into a membership! This time, with my beautiful airbrush tan, I'm ready to head out again... no no not to Vegas.... In Short: NEVER...EVER.. Get a Spray Tan here. You'll look like you have a skin disease. It's the horrifying tan job you worry about receiving and have to hide at home while you wait for it to wear off. Wow. I went here to get a spray tan before an important trip. I trusted the reviews...bad move. Perhaps they didn't get spray tans or got someone that doesn't work there anymore. I showed up about 1 minute after my appointment time.( My fiance and I had a running bet in the car about it, so I was happy to win and arrive on the dot). I went in and there was a woman sitting on a couch and no one at the desk. I waited a few minutes and someone finally came out and gave me a clipboard of useless questions to fill out while I waited. Finished in about 5 seconds and handed it back. They took the woman on the couch back, so I sat down and waited...and waited..and waited. 20 minutes go by so I go ask if it'll be much longer. The girl tells me she gave my appointment to someone else (the woman on the couch) because I arrived late and they have a "strict 5 minutes late policy". ARE YOU KIDDING ME. 1, I wasn't late..they weren't even there to see that I arrived on time. 2. They should have told me they gave it away..(WHILE I WAS THERE)..and that I'd be waiting possibly all night. 3. If they do want to have a late policy, they should actually tell their clients that when they book their first appointment with them. She said she "might" open up another room, otherwise I could wait 2 HOURS and "see" if they could fit me in then. Note: there was no other client waiting. She eventually decided to stop being ridiculous and open up the other room. During the tan there were big streaks which had never happened at any of my other spray tans at other boutiques. She told me it was fine and would go away, so, I didn't worry. After I took my first shower to rinse off the excess, guess what.. the streaks didn't magically disappear. I was a zebra. TWO DAYS after the tan, I had huge blotches *everywhere* on my body. My fiance really bad eyesight (to the point that he can't drive) and even he asked what was wrong with my tan. Some areas were super dark, some were really light, and some had no tan on them at all. This was THE WORST Spray Tan I have ever received, and I've had several. It was mortifying going on my trip that was planned a YEAR in advance looking like I had a skin disease. read more

I have gone to 360 tans a couple of times to get an airbrush tan. I didn't get uncomfortable while getting sprayed in the buff (they were professional and nice). I did, however, get uncomfortable while fully clothed--trying to pay for their service. They were super pushy trying to get to buy a monthly package or some product. I bought something just so they would leave me alone. I thought that was annoying, but I'm sure they do it bc they get suckers like me to give them an extra 40 bucks. The only reason I went back again is bc the tan wasn't too bad (the second time I had a really big missed spot on the back of my arm) and it was easier to get an appointment there than the place on Anderson mill. I like airbrush tans of Austin way better. The girl who owns that place, Sharla never made me feel uncomfortable once. EDIT--The new girl that owns Airbrush Tans of Austin is Leann Thomas. I am doing the Formostar wrap. The lady that helped us is super sweet and very attentive. I was checked on several times during the process and they were very accommodating; making sure I was comfortable and not to hot, adjusting me when I was. There are TVs in the room to watch movies, but it's not quiet enough to really hear them unless the volume is up loud and the DVD selection to choose from isn't so awesome. I suggest bringing your ipad and headphones if you want to watch a movie or your ipod, mps, whatever if music is more your desire. The process makes you sweat like crazy. I don't know if I truly lost inches, but WOWZERS was I sweating. Wear thick clothing - you'll need it to guard your skin from the heat of the pads. Long sleeves, sweats and bring some baby wipes to wipe yourself down later. That was one thing they didn't have that I thought odd - you really do need them as sweaty as you are. All in all, staff is very attentive, location is good, and the process does make you sweat, as promised. read more

Despite the name, this place does more than spray tans, and I have never gotten a tan here. I actually started with a Groupon for a body wrap, and while the experience was a bit warm and uncomfortable, the staff does/did a great job of making it as pleasant as possible - water, movies, etc. The manager also did a great job resolving a small issue that I had that could have been really messy if he didn't care so much about company image and customer satisfaction! I am not a tanner. I don't go tanning, because truthfully i don't usually care about being tan. Well no, this isn't exactly true. I just suck at being tan. Outside i burn and then turn white. Sometimes my arms will turn a shade of brown, but if this happens my shoulder are always bright red and peeling. Gross. I have tried self tanners, they just kind of suck. And tanning beds- just not my kinda thing. However I'm getting married in May and would like some distinction between me and my dress. So i started googling Austin tanning. And i find 360 on yelp. Airbrush tanning? Like someone sprays you while nude or semi nude? Um, scary. However this is not the case here. I was pretty much as completely comfortable as I could have been in this situation. I was sprayed by Erica, and she did a fantastic job! The results were great, very natural and not orange at all. It was tantastic! ( i couldn't help myself ) Its expensive, 50 bucks a tan. But first timers get a buy one get one free, so in May when i go it will be free. Yay! So unfortunately, this will not be an all the time thing. If i were a millionare- it would be. read more

PROS: I loved having my infrared body wrap here. Vanessa is a delight and is so sweet. I will return just to have a wrap done when she is working. I was comfortable and she was completely accommodating to my every need. If I needed water or was too hot she was happy to help. I have never felt so calm and relaxed in my entire life, those wraps are pretty amazing. I lost about 1 lb of water weight. I personally don't believe these wraps are for weight loss unless done multiple times a week, which is pricey. However, if you need to quickly slim down to fit into that dress for the night, then it's a great solution. I will continue to return because of the 'full body massage' effect of the wrap and because of the service. CON: The exterior building doesn't say 360TANS it's printed small on the front door. The actual building says TAN or something to that degree. Hopefully this will save you from the confusion I had when trying to find the place! :) read more

I went there for a spray tan for a Spring Break Maui vacation. It was recommended by a friend who had also been referred there. Neither of us had been to this spa before but have had other spray tans. First off the staff was very friendly. I felt comfortable all during the process. After some discussion she determined the appropriate darkness. I did all the recommended after care. I didn't shower for at least 12 hours. But as soon as I showered all the tan came off. However it didn't come off evenly. I was left spotted and my fingers and wrists turned darker than other areas of my body. Prior to the spray the tech asked me to put a sticker on my body so I could see how long it lasted. The lighter spot where the sticker was was gone within a day. My friend had the same experience. I hope others have better luck. I won't return. read more

I had the pleasure of trying 360 Tans at their South location off Brodie Lane for the first time. I was not sure what to expect, as I had never tried spray tanning. I was starting a new job and wanted to look good. The technician who I had was so kind and friendly and helped me feel very comfortable! I would recommend her! Ask for Fina! She did a very even job and I felt amazing afterwards. They will help prepare what to do before and after you arrive. My tan lasted over two weeks. I purchased the spray oil to keep it moisturized. I have been a member of 360 tans for almost 2 years now so I can't believe this is the first time I am writing a review! 360 is AMAZING. I have been getting spray tans for about 4 years and 360 is most definitely the best place I have been to thus far. I moved to Austin from California and trying to find the best spray tan place was difficult, but after my first experience with 360 I could not have chosen a better place to get my tans. I normally go to the south location and I have been very lucky with the ladies who spray me, recently Stephanie has been spraying me and she ROCKS! Bonnie at the north location is also amazing. Not only are they talented, but everyone who works at 360 is so nice and helpful. The products that they offer are great; I have the eraser glove, polish, tan extender and tanning mousse and glove. Because I go home to California to visit family a few times a year, it is easy to open and close my account so I am not paying for months that I am not there. I had done some research on Airbrush Tanning in Austin and after looking at a few locations I saw quality reviews as well as a promotion at 360 Tans. Since I was new to the airbrush tanning service I was a little nervous, but that changed the moment I walked in the door. The front desk was attentive and right away I knew I would be completely comfortable. I was greeted by Erika and she walked me through the airbrush tan process. She made me feel at ease and within 5 minutes I had a beautiful golden tan that not only looked natural, but had no smell/odor to it. Erika walked me through the steps of getting the most of the tan, which was very much appreciated since I didn't know how often I would be able to do it. Well needless to say, now 6 months later, I see Erika at least twice a month and I can't begin to tell you how many compliments I get. I've decided that this is my treat to myself and being able to have this golden skin tone always makes me feel better. Plus, much to my pleasure I don't have to risk my health by laying in a bed to get the look. Erika always takes her time to get the color just right and every time I come in she asks me if the color is still to my liking and I haven't ever received a bad tan since walking through the doors. I am always greeted warmly and the staff always does their best to get me in when I have a tan emergency..
