I think what makes these so good is their attention to detail even down to the fresh bread they make sure you get. They ask you specifically what you want on it and they don't mess up. They even make sure that these are fried to perfection before they serve them.

I can confidently say the chicken was delicious & was certainly crispy when they made it. Unfortunately by the time we got home (maybe 15 minutes away) the chicken & fries had to be put in the air fryer to get their crisp back because of the condensation since the food was packaged so hot. I didn't care for the macaroni salad as it was more mayo than flavor. The chicken was well seasoned however & if we stop by again we would probably just order that.

The atmosphere was beautiful, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and I had the haddock and grits with a strawberry lemon drop. Everything was delicious, and one thing I noticed right away is that they are definitely generous with the liquor. The strawberry lemon drop was so good! I went back during the week of Juneteenth for their happy hour (I'm not sure if it's every week or just for special occasions), and it did not disappoint. I ordered the Rasta pasta and the mango wings. The Rasta pasta was absolutely top tier! I had also tried their jerk chicken tacos before, and those are easily one of my favorite things on the menu so I had to get them again. Honestly, writing this review has me getting hungry all over again. The mango wings had a beautiful presentation, but they weren't my favorite. I was expecting a stronger mango flavor, and I would've liked the wings to be just a little harder with a more flavor. That said, it definitely wouldn't stop me from coming back because everything else I've had has been amazing. While I was there, they had a spin wheel where you could win discounted shots, and I ended up trying a ginger shot along with another cocktail. Once again, the drinks did not disappoint. The DJ kept the energy up, the vibe was great, and the service has been consistently excellent every time I've visited. I still haven't made it to one of their late-night events yet, but it's definitely on my list. Overall, Erma's is a solid 10/10. Great food, great drinks, beautiful atmosphere, and amazing service. If you're looking for a spot with good vibes and even better food, I'd definitely recommend checking them out.

I tried the plantains, which were incredibly sweet and probably the best I've ever had. The oxtail was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend getting it; it was so delicious that I even brought a container to take back to Atlanta. The spiked juice they served was quite strong, but it was perfectly balanced with a kick of sweetness. We had the privilege of speaking with the owner, who started the restaurant a couple of years ago. She came to the United States from Jamaica with her family to establish a restaurant and has been working hard to expand its reach and attract more customers. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try.

The sauce went well with everything and wasn't overly gooey/messy. The bun also held up well. The "better fries" with the seasoning were AMAZING. A little sweet, a little heat, and the right amount of salt. I got a lot in my order, which was really nice. They're definitely worth the slight up-charge. THE "MEH": The size of the burger was a little underwhelming. There were certainly plenty of toppings in general (sauce, tomato, lettuce, onion, pickles, and cheese) but like I said, it was somewhat small for what we paid. I got mine to go, so I wasn't expecting it to be ripping hot, but it was kinda lukewarm. The cheese was melted, but it wasn't "melty" if you catch my drift. The "better sauce" was solid, but didn't stand out. Fry balance was inconsistent between my wife and I. She got regular fries (which were tasty!) but she got significantly less than I did. Not sure if they have a full staff or not, but it took about 5 minutes to have someone come to the counter to hand me the bag that was by the kitchen. The person there was nice, though! SUMMARY: Not our regular burger spot, but may be a nice occasional stop in (milkshakes look good)! It's pricey for what you get, but it was still a solid meal and we will definitely go back at some point. It was pretty empty when I stopped in and it sounds like it's been that way. It looks like a good spot, and these folks definitely deserve your business.

The fries were crispy and seasoned well. The mixture of chicken tenders, pickles, Mac and cheese, and fries with the cluck sauce was awesome. We will be back for sure, the inside is small, but seems to be pretty clean and was not overly crowded. People were able to get in and get their food fairly quickly. The total was $42.09 for 2 fries that came with a 20 oz soda a piece, and the sandwich. Not bad for having leftovers that were still warm after all most 2 hours.

Our server, Karen was great at explaining the menu and providing nice service. She informed me that several of their burger have been rated the best in the state at various times over the past several years, which was impressive. She also said their chicken wings were pretty highly rated locally, so we started with an order of 6 of the wings with their Dr Pepper BBQ sauce. These wings came out over fried, looking pathetic, and they were dry. The Dr Pepper BBQ sauce had no positive effect or flavor, so I asked for some of their hot wings sauce, which she properly brought. The sauce was great, I wish we would have ordered that instead. It definitely helped the flavor part of the wings, but the texture (plus they were so small) really was a deal breaker for us and we each had one and that was it. Next up was their burger - I got their Beef on Weck Burger. I was worried about the saltiness of the bun, as I find Kimmelweck buns to be way too salty, but she assured me that they get these from a local bakery and they're perfect. So, I ordered it and was VERY HAPPY with it! The bun was insanely good... soft and so flavorful, while hardly salty at all, which was my preference. The roast beef on it was really good and tender. The burger meat was so very tasty and tender - WOW! The entire burger came together perfectly! I got it with a side of poutine fries and those fries were amazing! The Guiness gravy on them was very flavorful! Overall, while we didn't enjoy the wings, the rest of our food and the service definitely made this place a worthwhile visit! I feel like the service and mains far exceeded our expectations, so we can overlook those terrible wings and still give a 5 star review. I'd definitely return!!
