As a new golfer, I felt pretty intimidated walking in for the first time. I wasn't sure what to expect and honestly had a lot of nerves going into it. But Gary immediately made a huge difference. He was welcoming, patient, and took the time to make sure I felt comfortable right from the start. He explained things clearly, didn't rush me, and created an environment where I could relax and actually enjoy learning. He also went above and beyond by taking the time to explain the different parts of a golf club and how each one affects your swing and performance. Instead of just handing me something and moving on, he really focused on helping me understand what I was using and why it mattered. He spent a lot of time working with me to find the perfect club, making sure it felt right and fit my needs as a beginner. Because of that experience, 2nd Swing is definitely where I'll be going for all of my golfing gear moving forward--I won't be going anywhere else. We stopped by to check out their drivers. They have a ton of options! We grabbed a few and tested them out in one of their golf bays with simulators. We got a gently used driver, knew it would be $400, we paid $68?!?? The staff there are so eager to assist and offer professional advice and recommendations. I had the recent opportunity to visit 2nd Swing this weekend. I was extremely impressed with the inventory and store setup. As a golfer trying to reestablish my "game", I went into the store to replenish a few clubs that were outdated. Lucky for me, one of their store "Pros", Ralph Szabo, was on the large putting green as he was helping other clients. I stood near his area in hopes of getting his attention as I did not have a good idea on next steps or decisions. The store is HUGE and the selections incredible (and overwhelming for me, the "new guy".) He politely thanked his other guests and immediately turned toward me knowing that I was a bit lost. He said, "Sir, may I help you find something? What part of your game are you trying to enhance?" I mentioned that I was looking to replace a few clubs that were outdated and on their last leg. I also informed him that I used to play more frequently, made an effort to keep up and maintain the game technology, and in the past few years, let my golf game and club set fall by the wayside. He smiled and laughed a little with me as I guess he has many people come in and say the same thing! He said, "Don't worry, don't feel bad, if we can't find you the correct products to get you back in the game, I would be shocked!" We laughed. Now that Ralph understood what I needed, he proceeded to ask some more detailed questions about my past golfing history, the types of clubs I normally hit well, and also which clubs I've had trouble within the past. At this point I knew I had the right person to assist. We reviewed a few clubs and he let me hold the ones that he thought would be my best choice based on my input and then he turned me loose on the incredible virtual practice area where I could actually test drive the clubs. Overall, this allowed me to really get an understanding of the clubs he thought best for me to utilize, and I was able to make a truly informed decision before my purchase. You can demo thousands of clubs. Pricing is good on used clubs but you are not going to find a used Lab putter, for example, for under $350. So it is reasonably discounted used clubs but there are some major deals to be had. Looks like a great spot to get all clubs fitted, including a separate putter fitting area. So many putters. Great place to purchase pre owned clubs. Bought I new to me set of irons last week. Then booked a fitting with one of their pro fitters named Phil McFadden-Costabile. He was great, I actually traded the iron set I just bought 3 days ago from them to a set that fit my swing better, received 100% credit for the swap. We then looked at my driver versus a few of the of the ones he recommended, but ended up staying with my current 2 year old driver I had. He stated he couldn't recommend upgrading since they didn't perform any better than the one I already owned. Phil was straight forward, I prefer that. I think a fitting cost$100 but if you buy some clubs it's free. Great place to look for equipment. read more

Went in for a club fitting for a wedge. Worked with Phil Costabile and he gave me great feedback for my wedge game while finding the right wedge for my swing. Walked out with a nice used mint condition Vokey SM9 62 degree loft wedge! Also got 6 of my irons rewrapped with new grips in under 10 mins, which was quick! Job well done. read more

They have signs on all their checkout registers stating they offer the best trade amount, guaranteed. Well that's BS. Was offered $57 for 2 Callaway woods. Callaway direct offered $110. The employee would not address my question about the "guarantee". Said if would have to prove the Callaway offer. Told him I'd pull it up from the Callaway website to prove it. He then became terse and rambled on about their offer was a good one. I have no issue if they offer a low trade in, but don't say it's a guaranteed best amount. read more

This place is legit! My son and I went to get a swing analysis and had dealt with 2 different guys. Both had great qualities. They not only did their job they went the next step and suggested adjustments to the swing. Jeb made a minor change to my son's grip and now he's found another gear to his game so he wants to train more. I worked with Elliot and he listened to my complaints and educated me through the process. I have been in sales for 20 years and he didn't sell me clubs he sold me data. He did it with discovery questions that revolved around my short and long term goals, what I liked and disliked about my existing clubs and where I was willing to stretch my comfort within my swing/clubs. If you're in the market for a new set of clubs, this is the place. I did and was able to search, test, and buy a set of Callaway irons that I am very happy with. The selection of quality used clubs is better than anywhere else - online or physical store. Second Swing is both actually. Use the extensive filters on their website to search for exactly what you're looking for. Chances are they will have several sets for a range of prices. You can test any club in one of their free simulator bays. I would not buy used anywhere else. read more

Absolutely horrible customer service. Not sure whether you thought I didn't have money to spend or you thought I wasn't worth your time, but the attitudes of the thirty-something's working in particularly the simulator area of this place were the rudest I've ever come in contact with. On 12/27/22 I went to 2nd Swing Golf with my family whom informed me that it had opened a few weeks earlier. Derrick was the gentleman helping me and man was he patient. I probably shanked 2/3 of the shots I hit with hybrids and stronger lifted 4 irons into their demo swing booths and walls. I rarely made contact that was traceable. I needed to find a club that is a 220-250 yard shot. Derrick recommended a 5 wood (TaylorMade Sim Max 2) based on how I was swinging. I played with it today at Grapevine in Texas - love it. His patients paid off and a few times I hit this off the tee with incredulities flights and results. The best shot was on an uphill par 5 to give me a chance for birdie from 15 ish feet away.
