Scheels is absolutely massive and somehow manages to have just about everything you could possibly want for sports, hunting, outdoor activities, and more. The selection is impressive, the store is consistently clean, and the staff is generally friendly and helpful. Beyond the sporting goods, they also have an enormous selection of clothing, footwear, accessories, and other gear. One of my favorite things about Scheels is that they carry a lot of unique brands and products that you simply don't see at most other retailers. That alone makes it worth the trip. There are really only two downsides: it's almost always busy, and it's not cheap. That said, the sheer size of the store usually keeps the crowds from feeling too overwhelming--unless you're at checkout. And while the prices can definitely be on the higher side, I somehow manage to walk out with something almost every time. I honestly wish there were several Scheels locations throughout the Metroplex instead of just one. This is the kind of store you can spend hours wandering around in and still find something new. If you're into sports, hunting, outdoors, or just great gear in general, Scheels is absolutely worth checking out.

When the work was finished, I finally had the chance to see the final product and meet Blake in person. The results definitely exceeded my expectations; the bike rides exactly as I imagine it would have coming straight out of the factory. I called for two days straight and the store never picked up the phone. I then went online and called customer service and they told me to wait the ten days and the order would automatically be cancelled and I would get a refund. On the 11th day, instead of cancelling the order since I didn't pick it up, the store marked the shoes as "picked up" and I did not get a refund. I called the store again and they did not pick up the phone. I called customer service again and they said that they would have to get in touch with the store to confirm that the shoes were never picked up. Guess what? They couldn't get ahold of the store either since the store wouldn't answer the phone and they told me there was nothing I could do. This store should be shut down based on their deceptive trade practices and consumer violations. I have reported them to the Texas Attorney General.
