Unacceptable craftsmanship for a $350 premium build. Avoid their online shop…read more I ordered a custom Ventus VeloCore+, a $350 premium shaft--and what I received was a joke. When you spend that kind of money on one of the best shafts on the market, you expect absolute perfection. Instead, the shaft arrived with several scuffs and marks on it, looking like it had been handled with zero care or was a floor demo. Beyond the cosmetic damage, the build quality was amateur. The adapter was not seated properly, leaving a gap that makes the club look cheap and compromises the gapping. Honestly it was a huge safety issue because the head could have came flying off and hit a family member but they didn't seem to care. For a shop to send out a high-end piece of equipment like this with such blatant quality control issues is insulting. When I brought these issues to their attention, they offered $80 credit for the marks, which was reasonable but only $30 for the poorly installed adapter. For a $400 investment, a $30 credit for a botched install and a scratched shaft is a slap in the face and after wasting 4 hours of my time to get it fixed. They clearly don't respect their customers or the premium equipment they sell. If you want your high-end builds done right, go literally anywhere else. I'll never spend another dime with them.

I was not hitting the ball great that day and he was very honest with me and said he didn't believe new clubs would benefit my game right now. Which I really appreciated because it would have sucked to drop hundreds of dollars on new equipment only to keep playing like trash. Lol. He suggested I fine tune my swing and get to where I'm striking the ball more accurately before I drop that kind of money. I needed a new shaft for my driver and he got me set up with that and a new grip on my putter. I definitely recommend Sellinger's! They take a genuine interest in your game and aren't just trying to make a sell! I will definitely be back when I'm ready!

I was recently in Dallas and got test fitted for irons and a putter, the fitting process was excellent, the fitter Jordan took the time to explain the process, set up different shafts and heads until the numbers on the screen were consistent, then he made a recommendation, which I accepted and purchase the recommendation based on the screen numbers and feeling when I hit the ball. I was pleasantly surprised when I took the iron set to the golf course, I had a rescue wood in my bag that I use quite often instead of a driver, to my surprise the recently fitted clubs recommended by Jordan were performing better than I expected. To provide an example, I hit 2 balls from the tee (just to try them out) and I hit my rescue wood and my 5 iron, the 5 iron (from the fitted clubs) went 8 yards (approximately) further than my rescue wood. Had I know I was going to hit them better (regardless of manufacturer and brand) I would have done the fitting years ago. Hope this helps any weekend golfer like myself. I finally decided it was time to get my own. I used to bowl seriously back around the time electricity was invented, in New Jersey so naturally I walked into Chris Warren's Pro Shop thinking I still knew everything. They were kind enough not to laugh. What impressed me right away was that they didn't treat me like a beginner, but they also didn't assume I knew what I needed. Instead of trying to sell me the most expensive ball on the wall, they started asking questions, how I bowl, what I used to throw, what I wanted the ball to do, what felt comfortable, even what colors I liked. Of course, I made sure to explain that I was once practically a professional bowler. "At one time." Now my biggest athletic challenge some mornings is getting out of bed. About an hour and fifteen minutes later, I walked in thinking I knew exactly what I wanted and walked out with a new ball, bag, and bowling shoes. Somehow Chris Warren's Pro Shop turned me back into a bowler. Now when I walk up to the lane with my own equipment, I stand a little straighter. Chest out. New shoes. New ball. I'm thinking, "Yeah, I'm the bomb." Then I throw the ball. Turns out the ball is excellent. The operator still needs some work. First night out: 175, 150, 165. Not terrible considering there may have been cobwebs on my release. But I looked good with my new ball. I also practiced another week while the wife was bowling and threw six games. By the end, I definitely felt more in control and could already see the difference having properly fitted equipment makes. I've also spent years joking about those bowlers who roll into the alley with two or three balls like they're arriving for the PBA Tour. I officially apologize. Because apparently I now need another ball just for the 10-pin. This is how it starts. Great job to Chris Warren's Pro Shop. Knowledgeable, patient, friendly, no pressure, and they actually listened before recommending anything. That's exactly how a pro shop should operate. Ball #2 will be ordered before the year is over. Just don't tell my wife I said that.
