There are bays where you can hit golf bays and test out many, many clubs. If you do club fittings, they will apply that price to your purchase. There are also different tiers of memberships as well. Just a heads up, but their website also has items that they might not carry in store. Staff - 5/5 - Friendly and helpful. They were able to answer pretty much all of my golf questions. I see other reviews and I was planning on doing my club fitting here, but maybe I should go to a different location? Overall, the few times that I have been here, I have not had any major issues, but perhaps as I go more often, I might need to update this review at a later date.

Immediately upon walking in the store I was greeted with a warm welcome asked if I needed any assistance. Upon learning I had an appointment I was taken to a golf bay and Brett was there to greet me and explain the process and what he was looking for during the evaluation. During my evaluation I was able to try several different lengths and brands and within an hour Brett was able to dial in what I needed and made his recommendations on what would be best for my needs; which I had no problems agreeing with. I will add at no point during my visit did I feel pressured to make any purchases and I felt everything was fairly priced. Which I really appreciated because it would have sucked to drop hundreds of dollars on new equipment only to keep playing like trash. Lol. I needed a new shaft for my driver and he got me set up with that and a new grip on my putter. I definitely recommend Sellinger's! Unacceptable craftsmanship for a $350 premium build. Avoid their online shop…read more I ordered a custom Ventus VeloCore+, a $350 premium shaft--and what I received was a joke. When you spend that kind of money on one of the best shafts on the market, you expect absolute perfection. Instead, the shaft arrived with several scuffs and marks on it, looking like it had been handled with zero care or was a floor demo. Beyond the cosmetic damage, the build quality was amateur. The adapter was not seated properly, leaving a gap that makes the club look cheap and compromises the gapping. Honestly it was a huge safety issue because the head could have came flying off and hit a family member but they didn't seem to care. For a shop to send out a high-end piece of equipment like this with such blatant quality control issues is insulting. When I brought these issues to their attention, they offered $80 credit for the marks, which was reasonable but only $30 for the poorly installed adapter. For a $400 investment, a $30 credit for a botched install and a scratched shaft is a slap in the face and after wasting 4 hours of my time to get it fixed. They clearly don't respect their customers or the premium equipment they sell. If you want your high-end builds done right, go literally anywhere else. I'll never spend another dime with them.

At the time I was just trying it out and wanted to get some cheap but serviceable used gear until I knew if I was going to stick with it. I was also a little nervous because I was an adult woman getting into a largely-male sport, and I know from experience with other traditionally male hobbies that that's not always the most friendly environment to go into. But these guys put all my worries to rest! (Side note, I did stick with it and now hockey is a huge and wonderful part of my life. The Dallas adult hockey community is fantastic and welcoming, so if you have ever considered it, definitely try it out! And get your starter gear from Play It Again, they're great!) They were very helpful, spent a lot of time with me finding gear my size (which was more difficult than I anticipated, since as a short woman it turns out I ride the line between juniors and seniors sizing), and gave me a lot of really useful advice about fit and style preferences. For under $100, I left with a full set of gear except a helmet, as I had to go elsewhere for that (the brand of new helmets they carry didn't have a size that fit me comfortably, sadly). I returned several times over the next few weeks as I figured out what worked for me and didn't and they were always great about helping me try different options and returning and exchanging gear with no hassle. And the gear selection they have is honestly great! In the last year I've upgraded most pieces to new ones bought elsewhere, but I still use the same shin guards and pants I got from them in the beginning--and the pants are because they are such a great pair that I can't buy a new pair that is better without spending $200. The MSRP for them new is $160....and I got them for I think $30-40! And they were in great condition apart from some messed up zippers--an easy fix! They also do great sharpening here. I get mine sharpened on a regular basis by them, and while you wouldn't think a used sports equipment store would beat out the two major hockey gear stores in the area, they definitely do. Have never had a bad sharpen from these guys, the only better you can get in the area is up in Farmers Branch. They also have a sharpening punch card, which is nice. Definitely recommend these guys!
