Frodo and Goose from Universal Billiards came to the house to redo my pool table. Both men were professional and worked hard as they removed the old and replaced it with the new a warm, burgundy colored carpet. I want to thank them for a job well done, as they took the table apart, and put everything back together leaving the room, as clean as before they arrived. Job well done!!! read more

Had a wonderful experience at Universal Billiards! No pushy tactics were used on me to buy a table, none of that. I was able to browse around and ask questions if I needed to, definitely interested in getting my own table finally after all these years. I haven't lived in the DFW that long, as I'm from Florida. Being here made me realize having something fun at home is a must without the beaches around! Pool is something I always enjoyed, so I am definitely interested in a home entertainment investment such as this! The fact they don't pressure you makes me want to use this place more! read more

I received very professional and friendly service by Hopper and Frodo, who set my new dining/pool table this morning. Suggest that, for future customers, include a pack of pool cue chalk. After the two gentlemen left I couldn't play without ordering some chalk from Amazon first. Sincerely, Jon Scattini read more

I had my pool table moved on short notice. Sean and Dillon did a fantastic job and provided excellent customer service. They went out of their way to make sure everything was properly assembled and leveled. Thank you very much to those two for their help! read more

From sales to delivery...great experience. Preston was incredibly patient with an indecisive family. We visited the store at least 3 times trying to assess what was best for everyone. Pressure sales IS NOT Preston's game...and he succeeded. Fast forward to the delivery team, Dillon and Will were champions. On-time (5 min early and unloading before they knocked actually), courteous, and efficient. They were meticulous in placement making sure I was satisfied with the location. They've clearly been doing this a while (or the training program is top-notch if they haven't) because they didn't waste time, divided tasks seamlessly, and left absolutely no trash. Add to the fact they installed a gorgeous table perfectly...my wife was very happy (and that's really all that matters, folks). End to end, many thanks to the entire Universal Billiards crew! read more

I purchased a pool table for full price of $7,000. This was a stock unit off the floor. When they showed up to deliver it, we determined it was too big for the space. I thought I could pay the labor and return it for a new table. They ended up charging me around $1,400 in a return fee. I called several times and tried to talk to the manager with no success. They took this table and put it back on the floor and sold it as new again. needless to say I would find a more cooperative place to purchase items of this sort. read more

We had a great experience working with Universal Billiards. We had decided on the Baylor table after looking at all of the options online, but went to the Plano showroom to make sure we liked the finish and felt combo in person before making the final purchase. We worked with Preston at the showroom, he was very informative and helpful which made our final decision really easy. It was an insanely quick turn around from our purchase to install and the delivery and install team was awesome. End to end top notch buying experience! read more

Used them a few months ago to furnish the game room. I purchased a 6' wooden bar and 9' shuffleboard table. Both had to be delivered to the house. The delivery process went fine. One of the items had an issue, but they got it corrected ASAP. Overall they carry a good selection of game & media room items: pool tables, shuffleboard, darts, full-size arcade games, Foosball, bars, cocktail tables, chairs, etc. They also have supplies and accessories for the items they sell. In general, I find their prices to be pretty good for the stuff they sell. Even if you aren't looking to buy anything, it's a fun store to stop in and check out. read more

We just had our pool table and ping pong table delivered and put together. We were unaware of how much work actually goes into putting together a pool table. Terrible customer service and interaction trying to get a reasonable price to assemble a 9' Brunswick table. First quote was for $399 and then after sending a picture of the pieces it went up to $599! Cooper stated that his manager said it was an antique and would take different tools to assemble. Found a much better company in Dallas area who did the entire assembly two days after I called for half the price! Table is assembled and looks awesome! read more

Terrible customer service! Asked to exchange a dart that wasn't even 1 month old. The dart separated from the metal and plastic. Tells me nothing he can do and wants To sell me more darts for half off!?!? Couldn't replace a $25 product on a defect? Asked me if glued them in and I continued to unscrew the other two darts to show him that they weren't. How am I going to come back here and purchase more expensive products when you can't even compromise on a terrible product you sold me. TAKE CARE OF YOUR CUSTOMERS INSTEAD OF BLOWING THEM OFF! I'm not going to spend more money in your store when the product your selling breaks, and with the return policy you have no one should be buying any products from you. read more

Great experience from start to finish! i had done my research and knew what I wanted. Now I just needed pricing. Most places I emailed asking for a price would reply that I needed to call or come by to discuss. I'm a sales guy myself and this really annoys me. I know what I want, and I don't want to be sold to. However, this wasn't the case Universal Billiards. I emailed them a very direct question about price and Zach responded almost immediately, answering my question exactly. At that point, I went in and purchased my new shuffleboard table. While in the store, Zach continued to be very helpful, not overly aggressive, and I ended up spending 40% more on a custom shuffleboard table. The next part was scheduling a delivery. Once again, they worked with my schedule (had a few trips planned out of town) and my table was to be delivered just a few days later. I walked out very excited about my new purchase. Delivery. They told me they would get there at 9am. Well, we've all been there, waiting and waiting. However, this time they were the ones waiting! I happened to look out the window at 8:59am and the two delivery guys were waiting outside in their truck until 9am, right when they said they would be there. The two guys delivering and installing the table were very professional, worked well together, and did everything perfectly. They walked me through maintenance of my new table and answered all of my questions politely and very clearly. Thank you Universal Billiards team! I am looking forward to working with you again soon! read more

I purchased a pool table, table top tennis, and Cue furniture. I worked with Daniel and he is always pleasant, in a good mood, and there to help in anyway possible. Their prices are incredibly competitive and the delivery process was painless and quick. It has truly been a great experience purchasing these type items from them. read more

So, I typically load up my Ford Flatbed with about 175 lbs of cow manure Monday mornings. This is my my own cows manure. We sell the grass fed stuff to the Plano nursery weekly. I don't know if it was the stars aligned, full moon, or just me being me on a Monday. I decided to NOT make this trip last Monday. Instead i stopped in at this store. the Universal Billiards. I had no intention of walking out of there with a brand new red felt pool table but i did. It felt great. A young fella by the name of Mark Brothers and a buddy of his helped educate me on what was what. Before i knew it, that same fella was at my house Wednesday unloading and setting up what I'd like to call, the most beautiful table I've ever seen. I'm a big ole' fan of these guys. I'll be back soon to get another pool stick. Lord knows i get mad and I'll break the one i have when Tim comes over and whoops up on me. Thanks Folks!! read more

I was skeptical of buying a used table, but they made this a great experience from Preston in the showroom who really was knowledgeable and didn't try to "sell" me on anything.
