We got a Dino Rib, Wagyu Brisket, cornbread, banana pudding, key lime pie, blackberry cider, and water, which totaled just under $100. And I will say it was well worth it!! The only thing we probably could have done without was the key lime pie. The employees were friendly and service was quick. The whole place gave instant Texas vibes, even the bathroom matched the bbq style, super cute. We will definitely return again. read more

First time here, and when I think of good BBQ, this is the kind of food that comes to mind. I had to try a few things, so I grabbed the brisket, the cheddar and jalapeño sausage, and some pork ribs. All of it was incredible. Not positive, but if I had to guess I'd say the sausages are ground in house. The inside has a great vibe too. Plenty of tables, and you can watch them prepping your food right there on the line. And the BBQ sauce was so good, I love that you can actually see the pepper in it. I know this place has gotten rave reviews and found this place on Yelp so finally gave this place a try. We ordered a bunch of things to give it a try. We aren't big meat eaters so perhaps might've ordered the wrong things. On the day we came, we ordered the brisket tamale (2 come in an order), an order of the Texas chili (this was the special), an order of the herby potato salad, sweet potato fries, 4 pieces of cornbread and a banana pudding. Ordering these items came to $47. My mom had a Boylan's sweet lemonade and I had a pilsner draft. We sat outside on one of the many picnic benches under a tree and sampled all the goods. Texas chili - this was pretty so-so for me and tasted like spaghetti sauce to me vs chili. It had a bit of a kick to it. I didn't really care for this dish and won't order again. Brisket tamale - this by far was the favorite item for me, however, pretty skimpy on the brisket. Some sour cream and pico de gallo would have been nice to accompany the tamale. Sweet potato fries - solid and tasty but hard to screw up fries really. Herby potato salad - way too watery for me, seemed the potatoes soaked up a lot of fluid and this style of potato salad didn't work for me. Cornbread - solid, no issues there. Banana pudding - pretty tasty, with real bananas and Nilla wafers mixed in and on top. I would come back for this. I deducted one star for some things we sampled that really didn't work. Another star deducted as the prices were higher than what I am willing to pay for given the quality and taste. Overall, a bit underwhelming but also we didn't order items that they are known for. Maaaan no shade to Arbys but 2Fifty got the meats! The staff are SO sweet. They let me know all the allergens in the food. The meat had no allergens but I was warned about the spicy BBQ potentially containing gluten so I just didn't use the spicy BBQ sauce. I do think this is the best BBQ I've ever eaten. I got the Dino Ribs and 1/2 lb brisket with burnt ends but I think they put the burnt ends on my ribs (not a problem at all). The rib was about the size of my forearm!! I love good bbg and the Texas style with a Latin twist was all that I thought it would be waiting in the line. You walk in, place your order and find a seat inside or outside. I recently visited after a brief hiatus. I forgot how much I really like this place. I first got introduced to them through a online Yelp event during the pandemic. Since then, they've expanded with a DC location and they've won awards. This is all warranted! They're just that good. Came here to try what we heard was some of the best bbq in the DMV. We arrived early, as there was talk of long lines and wait times for the food. There was limited street parking and off street parking in a lot across the street for customers, but it was not large. We were lucky enough to find a space. We went across the street and stood in line for entry. They only allowed a certain amount of folks in and as people left, they allowed that number in. While waiting, we perused the paper menu. They also have a poster board as well which was used to inform what items were sold out. We weren't in line a long time and lucky there were no items posted before it was our turn inside so everything was in play for us. We went inside and there was still a line to the counter to order. The place was rather small with small tables around the parameter and large outdoor wooden tables in the middle for eating there. It was our time to order. The staff were pleasant and we ordered the beef rib, smoked chicken wings they had on special, pulled pork sandwich with the Cole slaw on the side, mac and cheese, brisket beans, and cornbread. They had an assembly line prep area where they prepared the orders and also a cold case where the cold salads were kept. We were given a buzzer to let us know when our order was ready. We luckily found seating by the front window and our buzzer buzzed letting us know our order was ready. Everything looked good and we got into it: Beef rib: The BEST of our order. The rib was HUGE and is a best seller. When I went to pick it up, it was falling off the bone. The tender smokiness coupled with the great seasoning made this a hands down winner in our book. Note: This rib was $36 during our visit. Smoked chicken wings: The WORST of our order. We got six whole wings to an order, but they weren't the most tender and the seasoning was off to us. The roll was fresh and complimented the meat well. The Cole slaw we got in the side was fresh, crisp, and good. The sides: The brisket beans weren't the traditional sweet ones; these were more savory, which I was not mad about. The brisket pieces were abundant and enhanced the beans even more. We really enjoyed them. The mac and cheese was decent. Although I am not a true fan of "outside" ( made outside of MY home,lol) mac and cheese, this one was decent with a nice blend of cheeses and the overall smokiness was not overpowering and lended to its nice taste. The cornbread was nice and sweet, which I liked. The referenced as more like cake, which it really wasn't to me, but still good. We were glad we arrived as early as we did because the line outside was massive. They also have wooden tables outside for you to enjoy your food as well. This is an excellent addition to the PG County eating experience. They offer many traditional items, such as tamales, corn elote, and chicharrones, and their delicious sides perfectly complement the moist, juicy, and tasty BBQ they serve. Great customer service! They repeat your order to confirm and ensure accuracy. Started with a brisket burger and potato fries. The 1/2 lb. burger came with a seeded bun, pickles, caramelized onions and cheese. It was cooked to medium well, was juicy and smoky. The sweet potato fries were well seasoned with herbs and crispy. I also had the brisket tamales and 1/2 lb. of Wagyu brisket, yes there is a theme here. There's quite a bit of tendernism going on here as it did fall apart. Juicy, smoky, This is the closest thing to Texas in Maryland. The brisket tamales were what tamales are. The surprise was an added grilled red pepper, definitely smoked and spicy . This may be the best BBQ in the capital! We ate here twice during our time in the capital. The ribs are pure perfection, and the brisket melts in your mouth. I went to texas for work not long ago and they had some of the best BBQ I ever had. This past weekend I was going down to DC and was looking for some good place to eat, and someone recommended this BBQ place, when I looked up and saw the pictures and review, I knew this is as close to Texas BBQ as possible in the east coast. I found that there are two location one in DC and one in MD, I decided to go to the MD one on the way back home to PA First when I got there around 5pm, the parking lot across the shop was full, there were already line waiting outside the store, there are plenty of outdoor seating. You can tell this place is amazing just by smelling it from the outside and how long the lines are. There are also free water in the cooler outside of the store. The wait isn't too long as it moves pretty quick, the staff will open door and let you in when there are space in the order line. Once I am in the line inside and I ordered the food, it took no longer than 4min to have the food ready. You can tell all the meat they are cutting are super fresh and juicy. They ran out of pull pork for the day which my wife wanted I wanted to order a bit of everything, my wife and daughter ordered wagyu sandwich, she told me it was so good and she didn't expected that, the meat is so juicy and melt in your mouth, the flavor is so good. I had the pork ribs, it is juicy and full of flavor, fall off the bone good. The smoked turkey was excellent, it is juicy and super fresh and tender. The chicken quarter leg is very good, but I can probably skip this one and try some beef brisket next time. The corn bread was very good, the mac and cheese was also good. There was also free water inside if you wanted. If you can't finish the food there are container box on the counter and you can grab. Ther service was excellent, people love what they do there. There are also many seating inside if you want to eat inside. This is as close to any Texas bbq you can get if not better in my opinion. If you are in the area or DC, you need to try them out, it is a must visit location. I can't wait to go back and try other food next time. read more

2Fifty is worth the drive from Baltimore! Their BBQ is AMAZING. The meat is so tender and well seasoned and the sides are excellent as well. We shared a Dino rib (beef) as well as brisket, pork ribs, potato salad, plantains, and cornbread. We also got a side of mac and cheese which was delish. They carve the meat in front of you at the counter, and the staff were friendly. The inside seating is picnic tables and some regular tables and chairs. Overall, definitely worth the trip! Go early in the day so they don't sell out! read more
