We've tried this place twice now since just moving nearby, and it's been amazing both times! Their fresh rolls are HUGE and such a great value. We get Thai food all the time and have honestly never received this many fresh rolls--or rolls this large--anywhere else. We ordered 3 dishes and we thought all were just fine and didn't end up finishing any of the dishes and taking it to go. Wouldn't come back personally, it was fine just not memorable. I had been to 2C a few times before this last time, and I'm glad I happened by again. I had the 2C Thai Spicy Noodles, which is a house special. Noticeably more enjoyable than Pad Thai, even though PT is always an unassailable option. The wide noodles are fantastic, and I love the ground chicken as well as the bed of lettuce with the crunch it adds. The lettuce at the bottom also soaks up all the sauce and adds a nice green element. A must try! read more

I really wanted to like this place. Came in here hungry at 1:00 pm for lunch. The first difficulty was just showing up. They close at three pm after lunch. I anticipated myself and my dining companion being able to finish our meal in one hour. The staff appeared anxious we were there and nervously anticipated we might take longer. Really, two hours before they close is more than enough time to eat and leave. The impression I got, was that they were ready to leave at 1:00 pm. So there was pressure to eat quickly and leave, even at 1:00 pm. We started out with a special 2c drink yummy yummy. Nice drink. Our waiter was very eager to take our lunch orders. We started out with the chicken satay as an appetizer. It was nicely cooked and the accompanying peanut sauce was great. Next, I ordered the delicious sounding crab pad Thai, described as " Stir-fried thin rice noodles with homemade sweet & sour tamarind sauce, bean sprouts, scallions, and egg. Sprinkles with chopped peanuts. Topped with crab meat. This was good, but they did skimp on the crab. My companion ordered Crying Tiger, which is described as being a Northeastern Thailand style-dish. It comes with marinated grilled flank steak. Served with spicy tamarind sauce and sticky rice.I was able to get several tastes of this, it was delicious. Spicy sauce made the steak and spinach sing together. We ended our meal with the sweet sticky rice with mango. A great finish to this meal. It's taken us well under 45 minutes to eat and leave. Food was good. The phad see ew is the best in the north end. Its not even debatable. Also that guy Jason that reviewed in January is a clown - how you gonna give a place 1 star because they didn't treat you like a special little guy. How you gonna go online and act like spoiled little pee pee baby on the page of a business doing its best while small businesses are getting pushed out of the city all over. Anyways - like I said, best phad see ew in the north end, The papaya salad is amazing, their crab rangoons are way better than average, the tea selection is bonkers - like so many choices that its almost overwhelming. Shoutout the pineapple fried rice - I donno how a pineapple can fry rice but they are out here doin it real good. I've given this place a lot of business. I asked if they could substitute 2 different veggies for one and the owner went off on me. Said it would cost more money, but even after 5 minutes of getting mad at me and telling me all his cost as a business owner, wouldn't even give me a price for the extra. I get business is tough, I'm a business owner myself, But this man's attitude sucks. He even said he didn't care what customers he lose. I love 2C! I've been to several other Thai restaurants in Seattle and I prefer 2C every time. The food is always delicious, hot, and made fast. I've dined in and had take out and each time was great. Recently I made an order with chicken and accidentally added prawns. Sadly I'm allergic to shellfish and can't eat prawns. I enjoyed the hell out of my slightly spiced up garlicy, saucy 'See-ew. It was delicious, my compliments to the chef. And my dad's favorite dish the Swimming Rama (Swimming Angel) was done with rice and wide rice noodles and pleeeenty of peanut sauce so it was very clearly swimming! I ordered the Panang curry with tofu and got mostly veggies that were not listed on the menu. Mainly, broccoli. As I'm not able to eat broccoli, I was surprised to open my meal and find a box full of broccoli that wasn't advertised. After giving away half of my meal, I was left with giant chunks of celery, carrots, and cabbage that were difficult to eat and not fully cooked. Overall, it was reasonably priced but I would not return. Everyone's meal was filled with cheap "filler" veggies and I felt cheated out of a meal that I was genuinely excited for. read more

We ordered: - Creamy crab wontons - Eggplant wok w/ brown rice & tofu - Green curry w/ avocado - Chicken pad thai I have to say, their crab wontons are probably the most delicious I've had in the Seattle area and left us all wanting more!!! The sauce served alongside the wontons was delicious, not too sweet and full of flavor. My eggplant wok was absolutely delicious - I've recently made a transition into a diet with less meat, and this was a dish that definitely didn't leave me wanting any other protein other than the veggies and tofu because it was SO FLAVORFUL! I will say, I'm a fan of spice and went with a level 3 and didn't find it particularly spicy, so if you're a fan of spicier foods, I'd go with a level 4 and above.
