The service was a little slow on the uptake and we had to ask for plates and a serving spoon, but the food came fast. The interior is cute. I would like to come back to try the wide assortment of appetizers.

We've been here a few times for to go orders and always enjoyed it. The portions are large (we always have lunch for the next day) and the taste is excellent. Service has always been prompt and have never waited for an order too long. One day I'm sure we will eat in but for now this is (and will continue to be) a staple for our Thai food fix.

We went here for lunch on a Monday and we were the only customers there the entire time we were there. The place was nicely decorated. The service was very nice, the server made funny jokes. We ordered 3 dishes and we thought all were just fine and didn't end up finishing any of the dishes and taking it to go. Wouldn't come back personally, it was fine just not memorable. Pad Thai - 5/10 , slightly too sweet for me, needed lime, not strong flavor, but had good smoked wok flavor Tom yum - 4/10, wouldn't recommend just very lacking in flavor, didn't have a strong Tom yum flavor. Basil chicken - 6/10. Was fine, best dish

I had been to 2C a few times before this last time, and I'm glad I happened by again. I had the 2C Thai Spicy Noodles, which is a house special. Noticeably more enjoyable than Pad Thai, even though PT is always an unassailable option. The wide noodles are fantastic, and I love the ground chicken as well as the bed of lettuce with the crunch it adds. The lettuce at the bottom also soaks up all the sauce and adds a nice green element. A must try!

I really wanted to like this place. Came in here hungry at 1:00 pm for lunch. The first difficulty was just showing up. They close at three pm after lunch. I anticipated myself and my dining companion being able to finish our meal in one hour. The staff appeared anxious we were there and nervously anticipated we might take longer. Really, two hours before they close is more than enough time to eat and leave. The impression I got, was that they were ready to leave at 1:00 pm. So there was pressure to eat quickly and leave, even at 1:00 pm. We started out with a special 2c drink yummy yummy. Nice drink. Our waiter was very eager to take our lunch orders. We started out with the chicken satay as an appetizer. It was nicely cooked and the accompanying peanut sauce was great. Next, I ordered the delicious sounding crab pad Thai, described as " Stir-fried thin rice noodles with homemade sweet & sour tamarind sauce, bean sprouts, scallions, and egg. Sprinkles with chopped peanuts. Topped with crab meat. This was good, but they did skimp on the crab. My companion ordered Crying Tiger, which is described as being a Northeastern Thailand style-dish. It comes with marinated grilled flank steak. Served with spicy tamarind sauce and sticky rice.I was able to get several tastes of this, it was delicious. Spicy sauce made the steak and spinach sing together. We ended our meal with the sweet sticky rice with mango. A great finish to this meal. It's taken us well under 45 minutes to eat and leave. Food was good. One star off for rushing us through lunch.

Crab wonton, papaya salad, crispy chicken sooo fresh and deeeelicious

Super fresh and yummy food as always! Service is attentive and friendly as alwaaaays!

This is the best Thai restaurant i have ever been to. Every dish I've had has been great in portions size, flavor and service. I try to get something new every time I come and it's so hard to pick because everything is so good.

It is one of the…read morebest Thai restaurants in Seattle and is certified as Thai Select which certifies its Thai authenticity. They have locations both in Downtown Seattle and Greenlake, but I have only been to their Downtown Seattle location which has a beautiful view of the Puget Sound. The atmosphere is dark, trendy, and modern- perfect for a date night or nice evening out. While they are a white table cloth, sit-down restaurant, you can dress casually or dress up a bit - both are completely acceptable. This most recent visit I ordered the COCONUT PANANG CURRY with chicken ($25.95) and my friend ordered her favorite dish, SALMON GARLIC FRIED RICE ($28.95). On a past visit, I've had their CLAY POT SHRIMP & GLASS NOODLES (KOONG OB WOONSEN) ($27.95) which was absolutely fantastic and has had me hooked on Pad Woonsen ever since! I saw the COCONUT PANANG CURRY recently in my Instagram feed and knew I had to get it. It is served in a whole coconut (yes a real, fresh coconut!) and comes with a champagne flute of fresh coconut juice from the coconut they hollowed out and a side of Jasmine rice. The curry was rich, flavorful, and full of Thai basil and peppers. The coconut juice was light and refreshing and a great contrast to the thick curry. The SALMON GARLIC FRIED RICE (which I've sampled before), is gigantic, aromatic, and served with a giant grilled garlic butter fillet of salmon on top. The salmon is extremely moist, oily, and bursting with flavor. The rice is fragrant and has garlic paste, red bell pepper, carrots, and green onion. If you're looking for a tasty and protein-packed meal, this is the dish! Parking is honestly tough in this area as it's located on 1st. They have limited street parking and a few paid parking garage options around. I recommend light railing or Ubering here if you're not already in the downtown Seattle area. Service is always great and we always get our food quickly, no matter how crowded they are. The staff also take the time to check up on your table during your meal. Overall: 5/5 for food, 5/5 for service, 5/5 for atmosphere

Even though I really wanted to love this place, this place was definitely overhyped; I'd say it's about the same level as A Ma's, which I also didn't enjoy. It might be because the place has gone super viral as we ended up waiting 80 minutes on a Saturday night, so quality control might be more difficult at this point. Tip: the iPad will say the wait is 30 minutes, do not trust the iPad. Hainan Chicken was tasteless and overcooked. The texture was way too chewy and was my least favorite preparation of the night. Gai Tod (fried) was better with a crispy outside, but still a tad overcooked. Gai Yang (grilled) was definitely the best version of chicken and is solid enough if you live nearby, but definitely not driving out of your way or waiting for. Rice wasn't super fluffy and I just prefer garlic rice over ginger. The chicken stock is probably the best part of the rice plates. Upside is the joint is definitely family owned and they do their best to provide good service in spite of the chaos. They'll take your order before you get seated, so the food comes out fast and are generally very sweet when checking in.

They have happy hour from 9pm-close so we ordered the curry from the happy hour menu ($10), kra pao with an egg (~$20), and drinks (lychee martini $9, Thai-Tini $9). Such a great deal!! My favorite thing had to be the yellow curry, it was so creamy and had a nice kick. The kra pao was also very good, we picked spice 2 which was pretty hot but manageable. Vibe - When I walked in, it felt like I was in a nighttime district on the streets of Thailand, eating and drinking whatever they had available. The vibe was that of a dark ambiance, with neon lights shining throughout the restaurant. Hospitality - The front-of-house staff was well-mannered and courteous, and they seated us quickly on a Monday night at 8:00 PM. It was a relatively busy night. However, we ordered fairly quickly, and the food came out within 10 to 15 minutes. Food - Food-wise, we ordered the Fried Papaya, Crispy Fried Rice, Khao Soi, Tom Yum, and Crispy Pork Belly Fried Rice. Gosh, I have to say, I was blown away by the flavors and the portion sizes! Typically, four dishes can serve three people, but I felt like these could have served five. The fried papaya salad was lightly battered with a typical papaya salad dipping sauce featuring a base of fish sauce, green beans, tomatoes, and chilies. It was good. The crispy fried rice was served with lettuce wraps, and OMG, I kid you not when I tell you this is some of the crispiest rice I've ever had. It's hard to find, but when you do, you can't wait to take another bite. I thought the khao soi overall was not bad. I enjoyed that they put the fried noodles on top so that you can mix them into the curry when it's brought out. Lastly, the pork belly was well-cooked with a crispy, crunchy exterior, and served with delicious Thai-flavored fried rice! Drinks - We ordered the Thai lemon iced tea and the Thai tea cremosa. Both tasted good. Overall, I was very satisfied with this place, and if I lived here, I could see myself grabbing some late-night bites with the homies.
