I called Ruger several times to confirm his words. Ruger mentioned they had not received the rifle in for repair and they had never heard of this shop. They added that his shop was not registered as an FFL to do business with them. When I called him numerous times out of concern to discuss this, he did not return a single message. When I went to pick the rifle up, he told me it was repaired. He lied to me again. When I got back to the house, it was apparent that nothing had been repaired and it was never sent to Ruger. If he could not perform the service or just flat out didn't want to work with me, he should have said so instead of wasting valuable time. I have been looking for ways to do business locally but he has no stock just mostly used firearms. Most ppl would like to handle a firearm before purchase. He can order it for you though. I dislike writing reviews like this but feel ppl need to know of this experience. As my partner and I are both firearms instructors, we will be sure to advise people of more reputable and dependable shops (Mazama's) in the future.

Customer service sucks. I wound up having to make a temporary pawn, which is extremely rare that I…read moredo, I brought in a high end electronic item to pawn ($500 retail) , at first they passed manly because that they didn't have a clue what they were looking at, I asked them that you might want to research it , he did and then came back with a offer of $75, $75 for a $500 item? Seriously? I didn't expect to get full price. It's a pawnshop, but I did expect a fair offer. I was only asking $250, that still leaves them room for a profit . I would of even entertained a $200 offer. But $75? I didn't bother telling them that I've spent over a thousand dollars in there over time. Nothing will cause you to lose business faster then trying to screw over their customer's . I will NEVER set foot in another Ace buyers again. If I could give them a rating of minus one, I would.

Well where do I start? They may know some things but they know diddly squat about music…read moreinstruments. They offer you even less than the typical 1/6 of used depreciated value. When presented with a genuine piece of vintage gear worth a lot of money, they'll take a look at a couple of scratches on it and say no it's a scratched up. Even after you remind them that this is a 50 to 75-year-old item and you would be hard-pressed to find one without scratches and present them with the literature about the actual nature of the gear and it's desirability, you're met with even more attitude then you're met with at the door. The guy that does all of the instrument assessments is just a undeniably rude, has a angry and put off demeanor, and leaves you feeling like as if your not supposed to even be there. How they get anybody to come in there is beyond me. I lost a $800 guitar in pawn for $120 pawn. Granted that guitar was worth $800 new, and I did have a blemish that was introduced to it much to my horror. That being said they now have that said guitar on the shelf for $1,100 and have so for a year now. Where they got the idea that it was ever worth $1,100 is beyond me but it is no surprise that it hasn't sold yet I can tell you that. You go through and they have just absurd prices on some things like the example I just gave where they're wanting more for it than it was worth brand new and you can still to this day go down to Guitar Center and buy one still in the dang box with a warranty and everything for 3/4 of what they're trying to sell a used one for there. On the other end at least their lack of knowledge makes for the occasional good deal on some of the gear because they mislabel and under assess a certain pieces of gear that are far more valuable than what they believe them to be. All in all it's a bunch of attitude without anything to back it up with. Don't waste your time unless you enjoy being insulted

I do travel a bit and have the ability to take advantage of 5 outdoor and 4 indoor ranges including this one. They all have different rules and personalities along with different strengths and weaknesses. I am struggling between a 2 and 3 star rating for various reasons but will give benefit of the doubt for a 3 star due to the nature of the actual ranges. I do visit others with less resources and farther away more frequently. I have left reviews of this specific range in the past and felt like leaving another after visiting the public use portion of the range a couple of days in a row and it being post COVID for the most part. I decided not to renew my membership at this range this year for various reasons including the ability to zero rifles at the public range for $10 still. I still believe the public range is a good starting place for very new shooters since there is a lot of supervision and willingness to give pointers by the hard working volunteers. I also believe it is a good place to zero a hunting rifle or visit prior to hunting season for a once a year check or if you are an avid paper puncher/bench person. The member side has a lot of assets and there is hardly ever anyone else using them except for a group shoot every now and again. I do find it odd that such nice resources go so underutilized in an era of waiting lists and such at other ranges I am familiar with, but it is an advantage to being a member if you like the ability to shoot at ranges without much competition for range space. Btw it is also a requirement to be an NRA member to be a member of the shooting club and I believe it is best to hang out with a long term member for a bit if you do join. Just my 2 cents and be safe and responsible out there! Cheers
