Alhambra staple. The wings are great and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the views of the fights are always 10/10[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]!!! The servers are friendly and professional but also know how to have a conversation

Free parking structure on 1st street. Came here for game night. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Place was pretty empty. Just walked in, no cover charge.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Had to flag down the ONE bartender for a menu. She told us to go to the bar when we were ready to order. Ordered the Elysian Space Dust $8. The cup was dirty! It had pink lipstick on the rim! The Elysian Space Dust was little too bitter for our taste. The Classic Old Fashion $13 was very disappointing. The rim had little black spots and many area was chipped. We liked that they used Maker's Mark, however, it initially tasted like they forgot the sugar, then we realized they didn't mix the drink and all the sugar was sitting at the bottom. Very disappointing. We also had the Michelada $11, the rim was covered with tajin, so we couldn't tell how dirty the cup was. Not a fan, had about 1/5 before deciding it was a lost cause. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Really didn't like that they left the door open, allowing people to smoke in front of the door, and letting all the smoke come in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Would not come back.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Really vibrant and loud sports bar that becomes kinda like a club at night where they just blast music and people are dancing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Gets a little wild but nothing too crazy. Pretty good selection of drinks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Beware, they won't let you in with Crocs because I was stopped.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Cheers to a year of fun work experiences together and many more!!!!

I don't like writing lower star rating reviews, but this place stood itself out. My coworkers and I arrived here for part two of our birthday boy's celebrations, but we got a weird vibe to begin with. This bar appeared to be closed earlier than posted on the nite of our party upon first attempt checking out the venue briefly. We were second thinking if we were going to spend some time here for part two. Finally, we decided staying, but we didn't realize the background music was going to be turned wayyyyy loud we were barely able to hear each other talk!!!! Despite extremely and unnecessarily loud background music, my coworkers and I still ordered extra shots to support them. The seating arrangement that was available turned out inconvenient as well at least it wasn't suitable for a large party of 7. Upon taking off after a short visit due to extremely loud rock and roll music played in the background, a few of us suggested some staff to turn down the music. It was just a weird place to hang out after a perfect dinner party at Chicken Coop, Alhambra, CA., which is a neighborhood, upscale restaurant. How's one suppressed to hear each other talk? I had a hard time half screaming my voice out just to get a few sentences out to my friends, just sayin?!'

I was pleasantly surprised when I sent an email to the address on the website and received a reply with the password in a little over thirty minutes. After parking, we didn't have any problems finding the entrance even though it is not marked. Look for the big wood double doors and doorman standing in front. After giving him the password, he opened the doors and we walked in. We were surprised in several ways. The place is way bigger than I would expect for a place named "The Speakeasy". And at 6:30pm on a Sunday, we were the only guests inside. Only one other couple came in during the 30 minutes we were there. I would assume they are a lot busier on Friday and Saturday night. It is dimly lit, and very red inside. The bar is large with many bottles of liquor on display and many seats. The rest of the space is one large area that must have at least 20 tables, and the ceiling is high. It gives off more of a nightclub vibe than a speakeasy vibe. I tried the Naked & Famous cocktail which has two of my favorite spirits (Vida mezcal, aperol, yellow Chartreuse, lime, $18). It was nicely balanced with a good mix of smoke and herbal flavor. She had the Pablo's Poison (Altos reposado tequila, strawberry, lime, jalapeno, elderflower, $17). The jalapeno flavor really stood out with strawberry and elderflower in the background. They have a good cocktail menu with almost twenty cocktails, as well as a food menu with ten items. Walk up to the bar to order your drinks. Jeremy, the manager, and the female bartender whose name who I didn't get were nice. We aren't in Pasadena very often, and while they have a good cocktail menu, I don't know if we would return. We were expecting more.

Our private room had awesome projection screens, great sound, and a huge song selection (English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Thai, Arabic, etc.). We originally planned to grab a quick drink and leave, but the food was actually good so we stayed for dinner. It's part karaoke spot, part izakaya! The menu is loaded with sushi, sashimi, ramen, takoyaki, grilled pork jowl, baked mussels, clam soup, kimchi fried rice, and warabi mochi. We ordered cocktails and sang everything from Disney tracks and OG hip-hop to Chinese songs. **Happy Hour Deal:** Mon-Fri (6-8 PM) & Sat-Sun (3-7 PM): $30 per person for the entire HH window, which includes your private room rental PLUS up to $30 in food/drink credits! If I go with a group in one month, I definitely make time to go by myself within that same month and pay for 2 people to meet the minimum for the weekends. It's worth it. Can't decline the $30/person fee with that same amount of food/beverage credits per person. Yes, I generally go for 4 hours and spend my credits on $60 worth of booze. Service Charges and Taxes will be added to the final tab... and any amount that exceeds the $60 credit worth of food/drinks (of course). Skewers are delicious, fries and taters are crispy, and the booze make me happy. I'm very glad they still serve Jinro over Good Day / Soon Hari (they taste funky compared to Jinro). They also have a cool beer tower where there is a separate chamber filled with ice to keep the beer cold without diluting it (melted ice). Rooms, restroom, and equipment continue to be clean and awesome quality. I just realized there are no minimums M-Th so I might go by myself after work even though it's only 2 hours of happy hour compared to the 4 hours on the weekends. They aren't cheap with their AC either unlike K-Republic when it was still open. This place is better than any place I know of in K-town and even the SGV. Moxie has ruined me for all other karaoke spots in SoCal and I have zero reasons to stray elsewhere. Parking is still plentiful and it's adjacent to a full plaza of eats, drinks, and a huge VONS.
