My only gripe? It's so popular that I occasionally run into family members or friends, which has a way of aggressively killing the lone wolf aesthetic I've carefully cultivated. This security and this lame manager think they can do and say whatever they want. We walked in and asked for water and they asked us to leave. The security called us "snowflakes" said we didn't want to go home, while he was vaping in his car. The manager said he could close whenever he wanted. They had 10 people in there and only asked us to leave, they said they were family and only we had to leave. We were not causing a problem or anything, we just sat down and asked for water. They were name calling and saying to contact the owner to complain. Insane. The doors are to remained unlocked until 2:00am, it was 1:50am. We just needed more time to talk as GIRLS!!! We had an assigned server and at first she was nice but then later in the evening, I saw her serving water in a cup, so I asked her for some water as well and then she blatantly told me with a serious look that they ran out and I would have to pay for a bottle of water. minutes later... guess what? I still wanted to drink. I ended up getting Pacifico beer. Pretty standard beer, like Corona, Modelo, etc.. Price was $9 a beer, and of course I tip, usually $2 per beer, but I just did $1 to make it $10 each. Three 12oz beers for $30 (could get a 24 pack for $30 at the store). My coworkers and I arrived here for part two of our birthday boy's celebrations, but we got a weird vibe to begin with. Earlier in the evening, I made the mistake of drinking before eating, and after a lot of dancing, my stomach did not agree with me. I ended up getting sick while trying to make it to the bathroom. I completely understand that throwing up in a venue is not ideal, and I truly was apologetic about it. That said the way the manager/owner handled the situation felt unnecessarily rude and aggressive. Came here to celebrate my sister's birthday and watch UFC 261 (what an insane fight!). I liked the outdoor set up with multiple TVs. It started to get pretty crowded by the evening. Terrible vibe. I gave one star just because it was the lowest you could give. We came on a Friday night and wanted just a couple of drinks. They had three bartenders, two girls and one guy. It took nearly 30 minutes to get served. We were waiting for that long at the bar area just for some white claws. I'm not a bartender, but last I checked, it doesn't take mixing or any effort to give someone a white claw especially when you're paying 3x the usual price for a white claw. We bought a bucket of about 5 white claws and the bucket came with some ice so I guess they had to work and put ice in a bucket, so we were charged $35 for that. We paid in cash a $50 and she did not give us any change. We waited another half hour there for the change and she REFUSED to give us the change. Never coming back here. This place definitely got me feeling old... Came here quite early on a Friday night with some friends. They are now opened in the back instead of their indoor space. Bar security checks ladies' purses and does a full body screen on men. Bar is in the center of the patio area, with lots of alcohol options to choose from (basically a full bar). You have option to keep your tab open also. My friend hated their rum and coke (unsure how you can screw it up), but I loved my midori sour. WOW. How is this place real. My friends and I saw a lively outdoor bar from the parking lot and thought, where is that place? It was 28 West! We were trying to go to a ramen spot in the same mall on a Sunday, around 6PM. They told us we had a 40 minute wait, so instead of waiting outside the restaurant, we just came to 28 West. Best choice ever!! As soon as we got seated a friendly waitress gave us menus. We asked her what food is good and she said all of the items are good. We were pretty skeptical but all 3 items we ordered were honestly amazing. Taquitos, bomb! Shrimp and fish tacos both bomb too. The best thing about the place was the vibes.
