This place rocks! I've been in quite a few times, looking for U locks, replacing brakes pads, replacing my bars after they got stolen, getting a flat fixed. The guys who work here are awesome and super helpful. The store owner always seems pumped to help customers and seems always in a good mood. I love the stores look and decorations as well. There used stock is where I've gotten most of my replacement parts (very good prices on all their used gear). So far, my favorite bike shop in Seattle. read more

They fixed my bike up really well for reasonable prices. I went in to get my seat fixed and they found the perfect post in the used box so it was very cheap. I also got a tune up and my bike rides far better than when I bought it. The service was really relaxed and friendly, it's a great quality neighborhood bike shop! read more

2020 Cycle is my go to bike shop. I live close by and if there are any parts I need quick or good advice, this is the place I go. Everyone I have dealt with there (Colin, Alex, Garth) has been super nice and helpful. They are very knowledgeable and usually have what I am looking for. The shop is a descent size and has a lot more open space than you would first think. They stock lots of used and affordable parts up to nice high end stuff. They also sell a good amount of used bikes inside. The atmosphere here is very relaxed and always has a good vibe. It is definitely a place where you can walk in and look around at all the parts and not be constantly questioned by a sales person. They also have all the tools you would need to work on a bike and gladly let you use them. This is a true community oriented bike shop and a great place to learn about bikes and how to work on them. This place is about as good as it gets! read more

I've brought my bike here several times now and I always have a great experience. These guys are great and always take care of my bikes and I, sometimes right on the spot, otherwise they get the job done promptly and give me a call as soon as it's ready. If you're in need of bike service I'd recommend stopping by 20/20 for sure. read more

20/20 has been one of my favorite bike shops for over 5 years, all the guys are cool and extremely efficient at what they do. I came in yesterday with a front wheel some hooligan jacked up. They got it replaced with a really nice used wheel and had me rolling out the door in no time flat for a reasonable rate. This place is my go-to bike shop! read more

If you have an older steel bike these guys are definitely the place to take it for repairs and parts. They have a great selection of brooks saddles, tons of used and new free wheels etc and a real appreciate for the old school bikes. Very friendly staff and great location. My new favorite bike shop in Seattle. read more

I always tell everyone that this is the best bike shop in the city, hands down. When I first moved here I bought a vintage ten speed that I wanted to convert to a fixed gear but I had no idea how to do it. Alex (owner) not only told me what I'd need and how to do it, he did it by laying it out and asking me questions so that I'd actually learn about my bike and I'd know exactly what changes I was making and why. I didn't even buy anything that visit!! Later I went back regularly and got to know everyone that works there. One time I broke a spindle and brought it in right at closing time. Alex not only fixed it for me right then and there, he only charged me $20 cash and he gave me a beer to drink while I waited! Between their awesome staff, their attitude of just wanting to get everyone on bikes no matter the type of rider and their knowledge this is the place to go. read more

These guys have given my new-old 10-speed so much love this summer, I don't know what I'd do without them. Tune-ups are a bargain, repairs are quick, the store is stocked with parts and accessories you'll actually want on your bike--and the guys who work there are honest and unpretentious and the kind of dudes I generally try to befriend. Give 20/20 your bike business forever. read more

Absolutely the best bike shop in Seattle. These guys are so chill, so helpful, and just love bikes and love what they do. Don't go anywhere else. read more

I think another reviewer said it best: Absolutely the best bike shop in Seattle. These guys are so chill, so helpful, and just love bikes and love what they do. Don't go anywhere else. I would add that this place is far better than any bike shop in capitol hill. The staff and owner are so friendly that I love stopping by 20/20. They teach you stuff about your bike and help you save money. They've even designed and built a new bike named after the Sealth, a washington state ferry. So cool! read more

I'm not from around here, and really needed a good fairly priced bike. Additionally, I had never even ridden a road bike before and I am significantly smaller than most people. I was shocked when I got there to find that they had not only one bike my size, but several for me to choose between!! Even more surprising, two of the bikes were hybrids!! I got to test ride the bikes around the block, and the guys inside got me all set up with a helmet they fit to me with different padding inside and a bike lock that was strong but portable. I got an amazing deal on the bike, which being refurbished came with a 90 day warranty, and they even gave me a Snickers bar!! I would definitely recommend this place, amazing service and great prices!! read more

Zero stars. That's right- a big goose egg. I read the reviews and knew the drawbacks but it was so close to where I live that I had hope. Those hopes were shattered. Selection sucks, which would have been fine if I had been treated like a human. Instead, I was ignored and sneered at. Perhaps it was because I left my black jeggins at home and still haven't had that Pabst Blue Ribbon tattoo put on my forehead yet....Oh well. Don't waste your time. I already did that for you. read more

I came here for a show a long time ago and really dug it but then I finally brought my bike in for a couple fixes and REALLY liked it. They said it might take a day to fix my bike up but called me back in a matter of hours, charged me less than they originally thought and then made a really good suggestion on a polish for my saddle. Also, unlike a lot of bike shops these folks didn't strike me as pretentious jerks. Always a plus. read more

20/20 is a small local shop with friendly staffers. Gearheads will be disappointed in the lack of fancy stuff to waste your money on, but if you need someone to help you with your out-of-whack bike, this is your place. The staff (hooray for chick bike mechanics!!) are incredibly helpful and won't try to upsell you. They replaced one of my busted shifters with a no-frills model that cost $7. read more

These guys are great, no doubt about it. The people are knowledgeable and the selection of used parts is pretty decent.

Helped me out with a small pedal issue. FOC. Good people. Highly recommend.

These guys are super helpful and very knowledgeable. Definitely recommend going here with any bicycle needs.

This shop is one of my favorite neighborhood treasures. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. I've come in for a few quick tire fixes & general bike issues. They've always been able to assist. One time I came in looking for a bike bell that would fit my (XL) handle bars. None were found in the shop, but they quickly consulted the internet & got one specially ordered & delivered. They've succeeded where many other shops just said, "sorry we can't help you". Did I mention you can come in & use their bike pump for free? Basically, they've won my respect & loyalty. ¡Viva 20/20! read more

I live in the neighborhood, and decided to give them a try - based on all of the great reviews. All I can say is WOW - these guys are nice, accommodating, reasonable AND fast. Thanks so much - I'm a convert! read more

Love 2020! I've been going there for a few years now and have bought two bikes from them during that time. They're always super helpful and willing to stop what they're doing to do a quick fix on my bike. If it's something more involved they still have a fast turn time so I'm not bike-less for too long. Easily my favorite bike shop in town. Bonus points for having free dog treats which means my dog always pulls me in when we walk by. read more

When other bike shops fail me, 20 20 always delivers. Friendly experts who charge less than they probably could and always seem to have what I'm looking for. They once hooked me up with some partly-broken fenders that I fixed with zip ties and still use--for free! For whatever reason, they seem to pack more into their tiny shop than REI packs into their whole bike space. read more

I took my bide to 20/20 because of an issue with the rear derailleur ... I was asked to leave the bike with them a couple of days (and later charged fifty bucks) for a repair I've since done at other bike shops in an hour or two for way less money ... worse, I was in a hurry when I picked it and didn't test the bike, only to discover at the start of a ride days later that the derailleur was 'fixed', but I now couldn't shift into my (front) large ring ... Fifty bucks and a bunch of time wasted for ... nothing. 20/20 is more of a brand or experiment than a credible provider of bicycle maintenance and repair ... I literally bet my life on my bike working as it should, and it's no joke to me that these folks do such poor work. Stay away. read more

These guys are SERIOUSLY AWESOME! They did an emergency custom build of a bike essentially overnight. This was totally unexpected and far and above. The are super-duper friendly. Their attention to detail on just the smallest things is top-notch. Outstanding service, really reasonable pricing...and they know their craft. Oh...and they have Snicker's bars....just when you need a sugary pick me up! read more

Best bike shop in Seattle! These guys are super friendly and knowledgable. Been here multiple times and always found what I needed. Had a major overhaul on my drive train done and had the price broken down by each part before I even asked. read more

Getting a break on my brakes! I had never been to a bike repair shop before and was a little embarrassed because I had tried to adjust the brakes myself but totally messed it up! They immediately took a look at my bike, did what had to be done to reverse the damage I'd done, adjusted my brakes- and only charged me $8!!! Wow. Thanks so much! No more trying to fix the bike for me, I'm coming back for sure. read more

Chris tuned my little Miyata to perfection. He spent tons of time with me to discuss very candidly what I might want and what Idid not need. "Come back is anything isn't perfect!" They have a lifelong customer (and I'm hard to please!). read more

2020 is my neighborhood and was in there for the first time he other day. My 1981 Fuji touring bike had been receiving care from Recycled Cycles but it seemed repairs that involved adjustments to gears/derailleurs didn't "stick"; I'd have the same problem recurring 2 or 3 rides later. I also had a flat tire I wasn't in the mood to replace myself, so yesterday I took the bike to 2020. I expected to leave it for several days or week; what I'm used to from Recycled Cycles or REI. Daniel was there and threw it up on the stand as I stood there and he started making adjustments. In about 10 or 15 minutes he had the gears shifting smoothly all the way through their range and he explained the sensitivity of my rear derailleur to "being smacked" and easily knocked out of adjustment, showing me its poor alignment and the particular part(s) that create this vulnerability. And he changed my flat tire. I can't speak for how well this service will "stick" after several rides, but i was impressed with Daniel's obvious knowledge and his attitude and I learned good information about my bike and what not to do in those few minutes watching and listening to him. No one had ever explained what he did to me. Of course, I rarely, if ever, actually get to speak to the mechanic who does the work on my bike, regardless. Daniel also said he could put a new derailleur on for very little money that will definitely perform more reliably but we were both disposed to see if the original part would perform up to spec after his adjustments. I was very happy with Daniel's efforts and price. I know I was lucky that he was available as I walked in but he is disposed to just grab a job and do it, as he said and I observed. I also like the vibe of the shop and the qualify of music that's playing on their sound system. The shop feels like I'm visiting a buddy who does bike repairs and hanging out for a bit, even though I had never been in before. read more

Very nice guys, huge supporters of Seattle culture. I've bought stuff here but never had a tune up cuz I do it myself, otherwise I would use them in a heartbeat. read more

Incredible service, super nice guys. No upsell, no BS... love your bikes!

Super nice people. Nice bike selection. Free pile out front for you fixer-uppers.

Best bike shop around and one that deserves broad community support. Why more than others? Because they thrive on making old run down bikes work like new - it's not about selling you a new bike unless that's what you need, but even then, they have a nice steady flow of 20/20 reworked bikes just needing the love of a new rider. Been going here the whole 11 years they have been around to serve - support these guys they're awesome! read more

so, not only had i read the one other review here on yelp but i was told by several people at my work that this was the place to go. i don't know anything about bikes and have never ridden a road bike (but that's what i was in the market for) and Ben was super nice, answered all my questions and didn't make me feel dumb for my lack of bike knowledge. all the workers here seemed very knowledgeable and approachable. they're getting my money for being such a great shop. read more

I stumbled in here while on my way to Central Cinema around the corner and wasn't quite sure what to make of it at first. My initial thought was that it was a 'business' in only the technical meaning of the word and was really just a storefront that somebody lived in and stored all of their stuff. I was acknowledged by that typical non-chalant hipster greeting, 'hey' which is always a good thing. The shop is mainly just a large workbench with a window and is an organizational catastrophe. I felt like I was walking into a degenerate bike geek's bedroom with parts just littering the space. Definitely has a more 'flea market' vibe to it than a 'showroom'. But there were a few old Campy parts in a case that obviously were set apart by their hallowed pedigree. Smart men. And it was by this that I realized that this place, in all it's squalor was truly a place of two-wheeled geekdom. When I put together my single-speed frankenstein bike, this is surely the place that I will go. read more

This bike shop charges you unreasonably. Their attitude is not as good as the review says.

We had such a great experience at 20/20 today. My husband previously purchased a Nashbar bike with disc brakes. He had self assembled most of the bike but was not confident that his brakes were well tuned. The staff at 20/20 graciously checked the brakes and then worked their way along the whole bike to make sure he would ride safely. They charged us a very reasonable rate and could not have been nicer about it. (This is after Montlake Bicycle laughed at our assembly and quoted us a rate 5x higher and said they would not be able to get to it for 5 days.) 20/20 was a great expereince and we will for sure be back! read more

These are some nice fellers with good bike knowledge and usually good prices on parts.

Really friendly staff, decent selection, but be careful. I've been in a few times with great success, but I've also come out of there with parts recommended to me which "would totally work!!" that absolutely would not. Make sure you know what you're looking for and do the right math for your bike, because the guys at 20/20 won't. read more

I have been going to 20/20 since I moved to the neighborhood two years ago and I have had a great experience every time I pop in. Everyone is friendly and helpful and no matter what the issue is with my bike, they have a solution! I highly recommend 20/20! read more

I visited this bike shop today with an issue with my pedals that I couldn't figure out. Not only were they extremely helpful. They were very friendly and patient in the process! I will definitely come back to this shop! read more

I bought a floor pump from them one weekend, and was dissatisfied with the performance of the pump. I went back a couple of weeks later to tell them they shouldn't recommend that pump to any other customers. They were really great and immediately returned my money, no questions asked - even though I wasn't really asking for a refund. I get all my maintenance/repair work done here and they are extremely skilled from a technical perspective. read more
