Recycle-Cycle is not going to be everybody's jam, but what they get right, they get right…read more Fixing bikes for the average joe they GET RIGHT! For years I've gone there, sometimes for simple fixes. More often than not they either sell me a tool and a part and walk me through it. Or, they throw it up on the rack and fix it pronto for a reasonable price. Their bikes aren't the highest end around but that isn't why you go there. A solid commuter or road bike at a reasonable price! These folks rock! Good advice, decent equipment, and fair prices. Can you ask for more?

I loved Recycle Cycles!!!…read more I was participating in the STP this past weekend and rented a bike from Recycled Cycles. The reservation system was super easy to use and quick to reserve. When I picked up the bikes, the staff were all super nice and helpful with getting bike ready to go. Highly recommended for any rentals and they have a lot of decently priced parts if you need to replace anything.

Bike Works continues to absolutely rule. In the years since, I have found that the only thing I have noticed changing is that they are continuing to try and grow and provide their (incredibly affordable) services to the local community to get as many people (both kids and adults) on bikes, as possible. Every single time I bring my bike to the store, they do their best to at least diagnose the problem and give me a reasonable estimate of when I could expect to have my bike fixed up. They are incredibly transparent about everything they do, and every time they ring up the bill it comes up to be less than I expect. But it doesn't even end there! During the summer, they have a mobile truck that rides around the area to provide their repair services free of charge for the local community! I absolutely love what they do, and there is no bike shop I enjoy visiting more than Bike Works.

They also did not sell it to me in the manufacturers packaging, it was instead in ziploc bag. After leaving the shop I double checked the price and went back to confirm I was charged for the right chain, thinking they rang me up for a 10 speed chain or something.
