While no one wants to deal with getting rid of wildlife in your home, I am fortunate that I found…read moreSummit. I checked with several companies. However, immediately, I was impressed with Summit's fast, clear communications and ability to quickly conduct a survey. This gave me assurance that there was a plan to not only eliminate the squirrels but also to prevent more from returning. Communications throughout the whole process was always proactive, clear, and helpful! Their communications and customer service are a model for companies across industries. Summit stuck with us through a lengthy process (which was no fault of their own). After we caught a squirrel, we heard more noises. Jason worked with us with friendly persistence until the problem was solved by making several trips to isolate where the squirrel was. While I hope, we never have another wildlife problem, I would contact Summit again without hesitation.

DO NOT trust this company for bird exclusion services…read more We paid $350 after their technician showed us video of birds actively flying in and out of our house. Another crew later came out, claimed there were "no birds, just twigs," sanitized the area, installed a metal cover, and left. Now there are flies surrounding the covering, birds trying to get back inside, and we can still hear chirping and movement in the wall/vent area. Instead of fixing the issue, it seems they trapped live birds inside our home while creating an even bigger sanitation problem. Terrible communication, conflicting explanations, and a complete waste of money. Absolutely unacceptable.

He has been endlessly creative and willing to experiment, especially when it comes to protecting birds, chipmunks and squirrels, which we like and want to promote / avoid harming. And to our pleasure, despite regular ant controls close to the house, we have a monarch environment on our hillside, and regularly host two species of fireflies in the summer.

Patrick from Bluebird Pest Solutions came out about a month ago because I was, after several years,…read morehearing mice in my attic again. I'd used probably three other companies over the years, and the mice would be gone for a few years and then come back. Patrick was different. He showed me where holes were around AC connections and around my outside faucet and sealed them, in addition to setting baited traps. Because I'm in a townhouse, he wanted to check the spot where my foundation joined my neighbor's (I'm in an end unit). She had been away, and only a few days ago could I speak to her and ask her permission for him to come onto her property. He just today plugged up where he thought there was an opening in the corner between our homes. No other pest control company had ever plugged any holes before, and certainly not on an adjacent property. So far, I have not heard any mice, and I'm very hopeful with today's additional hole plugging that I won't ever again. Rather than signing contracts to have treatments done over and over to try and keep pests out, it makes much more sense to have someone actually try to eliminate your problem. Patrick charges a little more upfront, but that's because the goal is for him not to return.

We've not had any issues with bugs, spiders, or termites, and we live in a wooded area! Also, we have a crawl space under the entire house and still no issues. This is important to us because with small dogs, even a spider bite could kill them, and so we're glad Mike and Slug-A-Bug have been making sure pests don't find a home here! My wife and I both highly recommend Slug-A-Bug, they're fair on cost and great at service. Take advantage of using them if you're in their coverage area.

Read a ton of reviews for companies in the general area and decided to go with AWR and I'm glad we did. Paul was super quick to get out to our house to investigate and found the entry point. He set up a trap and within a few hours, there was a fat, male grey squirrel in there. He came back out the following day and blocked off the entry point and took care of the squirrel and trap. Couple of days later and no more attic activity of any sort. He did a wonderful job sealing off the prior entry point to make sure we won't have new guests trying to make a home in the attic. It's rare these days to get great service, quality work, and the pricing not be astronomical. Paul was fast to respond, easy to contact, and provided great service with an easygoing attitude. He didn't try to make me feel dumb about not knowing as much as he does. He actually wanted to help me solve my problem and not rob me in the process. I can't speak for any other similar companies in the area, but I would 100% suggest AWR to anyone with critter issues.
