The 1914 Club is accessible based on a section of tickets mostly behind home plate. This is really fun. Excavated out under the bleachers you'd be unlikely to know it was there c Basically similar to those at other clubs. Great atmosphere, great food and drink.

    The bar. Absolute class.

Excellence. No other way to see a game. From the moment you walk down the stairs to the bar you are treated like royalty. The immediate thought I had was something of a "Speakeasy" but with more class. Private, clean bathrooms. Cubs designer gear unavailable anywhere else. Food. Lots and lots of amazing food. Any drink you want. It's here at your disposal. Garrett's popcorn on your way out, no problem. A hot dog bar with every topping you can imagine? Yes. Sliders? Uh-huh. A few types. Prime beef cut to your liking? Oh my. Top notch service. We wanted for nothing. And we will be back. 1914 Club isn't just doing everything right. They are doing everything right, with class. 5 stars without a doubt.

We've been very fortunate to have spent a couple Cubs games with 1914 Club access. Service in the 1914 Club is impeccable. The drinks are carefully crafted and definitely worth checking out. There are some tasty draft beer options as well. The food is very good. Some offerings are available at most games, like hot dogs, brats, mini burgers and pizza, while others offerings rotate. The salads are unique and tasty. The dessert case is plentiful. Plus there are ample snacks to take to your seats to watch the game. The little gift shop is cute but has limited offerings. Restrooms are the best a baseball stadium restroom could offer. Seriously. So why only 4 stars for such wonderful amenities and service? The 1914 Club is seriously lacking for Fans with disabilities. The club doesn't have an elevator nor escalator, and there are quite a few stairs both to get into the club then back up to the seats. This challenges those with mobility issues as well as those with less visual issues, such as cardiac conditions or COPD. The Cubs and 1914 can both do more to be more inclusive to the fans with needs.

A Mecca for Cubs fans! Worth the splurge! Incredible experience, food, & service! Bar, 3 buffet stations, dessert station, snack shelves, & fridges fully stocked with grab&go options. Drinks, peanuts & hot dogs brought to your seats or the option to take a plate of food with you onto the concourse. Pro Tip: arrive when doors open 2hrs prior to the game to be among the first to enter & enjoy the amenities before the hustle! Exclusive 1914 Cubs merchandise that can't be purchased elsewhere! Convenient for rain delays complete with complimentary ponchos! Cell phone charging station! A must try even if it's just once! 1914 Club luxuriously covers all the bases! Pun intended! Happy 70th Birthday, Dad!!!

Anyone have the Club 1914 plastic cups, large and small? I'll pay $1 each plus shipping to Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Looking for 10 of each.

We were very fortunate to not only go to yesterdays Mets/Cubs game in the American Airlines section which included access to the 1914 Club. Now typically I believe you go into the club about 90 minutes before the start of the game. Since we had tickets to the 2nd game of the doubleheader and with the 1st game running into extra innings, we had about 40-45 access in the club before the game started. We bought the tickets in the aftermarket for about $900 for section 21, Row 5. In my opinion, it was very nice but not $900 nice. A few of the highlights were the food options. They had your typical dogs, polish sausages and they also had pastas and a carving station. The plates were white plastic so you can take them to your seat. There were a lot of tables to sit at but make sure to have your guest save a table right away while the other person grabs their food. There was one main bar and two on the side. A waiter came by to take our order which was nice. There's also a "To Go" fridge where you can grab a pre made sandwich, water, soda and next to it was to go Popcorn (Garrett's), Cracker Jacks and Chips. In the seat, at random times, there were folks who have a few beers, seltzers along with peanuts. Then there were other vendors who offered Vienna Hot Dogs with prepackaged condiments. Make sure to hit up the desert bar as those sundaes were the bomb. Also, the bathroom was very clean as there was an attendant in there. Now a few things that weren't great. The beer/seltzers that were offered to those in these seats by the 1914 vendors, were warm. It kinda sucked and forced you to go downstairs for a cold beverage. Also the arm rests on the seats were made of wood that were being ruined by the outdoor elements and forearms. A padded option here would've been much more comfortable. It was a cool experience checking out the 1914 but there are better options around the same cost if not less out there for this kinda experience.

Came here recently with my dad who sometimes gets free tix from his work, and it was the coolest experience (especially since it's free;)) Walking into Wrigley, you walk through a specific door near the marquee entrance and turn left. You go through a metal detector and then go through the 1914 VIP Club entrance doors. Then, it looks like a Gatsby party, no joke. You go downstairs and everything looks so fancy and gold. You almost feel out of place that everyone is just wearing Cubs gear. You have unlimited hot foods like meats, salads, sliders, pastas, sides... you have a full bar and are able to order anything you want (some with a charge depending on your choice of alcohol but you can have everything for free). You can have unlimited food up until I believe the end of the 6th inning, but they also have cracker jack, popcorn, chips, and other snacks you can bring out all game). Everything is so clean, the bathrooms are actually nice, and the workers and servers are so helpful. You can tell even the cleaning crew cares to maintain these seats unlike some of the other sections of the park (I mean since the seats are like $1k so they should haha). You also still have vendors walking up and down your section when sitting in your seats, but you don't have to pay for anything... please still tip, though! The drinks and food from inside can all be eaten/drunk at your seats (you have comfy cushioned stadium seats even) and the seats we sat in were 3 rows behind the field and right by home dugout. Absolutely amazing experience and so worth it if you can go at least once in your life! I mean just look at the kinds of pictures you can get of the field and players!

This is by far the best premium seating experience I've had (full disclosure: college football and MLB are the only sports I attend in person). The Marlins and Dodgers came close but they aren't the Cubs so no cigar. First: you get a nice satin wristband and some sunblock on entry. Then, you descend into a cool brick cavern replete with a huge bar, great food, and plenty of seating. One of the best things about this area is it's designed to not feel crowded if all 700 1914 members (or us StubHub plebes) decide to hang out in the club at the same time. It has not occurred to all sports facilities that people who pay a premium for club access might want to enter said facilities, possibly not in small shifts. There are tons of self-serve snacks and drinks to take when you decide to emerge from the club to watch the game. And plastic branded 1914 Club cups that you can pour adult beverages into or just fill with water. If you're a loser like me, you might smuggle a few of these said plastic cups out so the folks back home know how cool you are. The seats outside are nice, big, padded, and close to the field. JHey will probably pay more attention to you if you're in the right field bleachers, but maybe you'll get a stray glance from Willson Contreras. If it's either 32 or 102 degrees in Wrigleyville that day....back you go downstairs. The bathrooms are over the top elegant. And there's a gift shop on the way with merchandise exclusive to the 1914 Club. Is it pricey? Yes. But the case I got for my iPhone XS (yes it's 2020 and I still have the XS. Why? This case!!!) is one of the sturdiest yet least bulky and unobtrusive I've had. And I got a super cute t-shirt that is super soft. I just love the Cubs 1914 bear logo. Bottom line: if you have the chance to experience this club, it's incredible. Or you can go ogle Jason Heyward from the bleachers. Either way there's no better place to be on earth than Wrigley Field on a summer afternoon!

Can I wear a Cubs Jersey and Jean shorts? Is that attire allowed in 1914 club?

Yes. Cubs attire is perfect, denim shorts should be in good condition but otherwise okay.

If there is a building in Chicago likely to collapse on you, this is it. - Operated for many, many months without a proper license to have their pool open for use. - The pool is constantly leaking into the weight room on the floor below. Every time I work out there is a pile of towels in a different location, buckets catching water from the pool a floor up, areas sequestered off because the ceiling is falling in. - The roof is constantly leaking and instead of what seems like minimal effort to patch the roof, they rig up plastic sheets with clips and place buckets the leaking water flows into in the middle of the track. This is in multiple places and has been in place all winter long. - Generally dirty and gross everywhere. Have never not ever and would not: get in the pool, take a shower, use the sauna, or touch the floor with anything other than the bottom of my shoes. The equipment is disgusting. - All the broken things everywhere. Broken shower doors, broken equipment, broken chairs, broken clocks, broken coat racks. - A nonexistent class program. Every other gym I've been a member at has had decent to awesome group fitness options. Do not come here for that. For starters, they offer almost none. Those that they offer are often cancelled last minute without notice. This place isn't exactly teaming with fit staff... The fitness class spaces are very low quality. - The youth classes are a waste of money. I've paid a lot of money for a lot of different youth classes over the years. This is the only establishment where I asked for a refund for the swimming lessons and my kids begged me to not make them do tennis again. - They brag about the kids camp but it is highly over priced compared to what's out there. The cost initially sounds okay, but then you realize their "full day" is actually a "half day" and to get the rest of the day covered, you have to double the cost. Add to that I've never encountered a youth camp program with poorer communication. Why are we members (for now)? Because they are generally chill around here and we have a boatload of kids. They swim in the gross pool, climb on the shaking outdoor playground, have so far survived the childcare that is pure chaos, and once in awhile I can't find another camp to send my kids to (they complain the whole way there and back and I worry about their safety all day). Recently a new manager-like gal has started roaming the halls scolding families for "health violations" like giving their kids a snack from home. Set aside that anyone with kids understands this is an unreasonable expectation, it's a highly offensive public lashing given the clear health code violations the staff routinely ignore and their patrons have just resolved to deal with. Every time I come here, I see at least a half dozen new member tours in action. Anyone considering joining should do so with eyes wide open. The quality of this gym compares to the Lakeview YMCA, with the Y coming out the clear winner for cleanliness, customer service and cost. It goes without saying, if you don't have kids or like kids this is not the gym for you. Don't complain about the kids, just go to one of the countless other cool gyms where you won't see them. We haven't cancelled our membership yet and I won't bother raising these issues with management because every interaction I've had with them makes it quite clear the bar they've set for themselves is so low. But it's just a matter of time, and I have no intention of wiping down the equipment at an establishment so woefully neglected by the rude people collecting $500 from me every month.

The games are mostly at Center on Halsted, but if there are too many teams in a season there's overflow courts at secondary locations (we've had to play at Inter-American Magnet School and Welles Park in the past). I started out not knowing anything about volleyball, but there are a handful of people willing to help you learn and build skills. Sometimes your team may be offered a mentor if you ask. AAC also offers open gym sessions on Saturday mornings (fall/winter/spring). Games are on Tuesdays and Wednesday nights. Dues and team fees are certainly lower than CMSA. There are changing lockers on the 3rd floor by the courts. The only thing that I might comment on is that the rules for this league may vary a bit from other leagues or official NCAA rules. But that it caters to player safety and the venue (there's long nets separating the courts so it mitigates interference). But I will say this - the organizers are pretty prompt in responding to and addressing any of your concerns. This league also offers Beach Volleyball on Monday nights (at Montrose Beach) - it's less crowded than the Friday night league.
