Came here on a Friday night around 6:30 post work! Super super friendly services was immediately asked if I was helped or needed anything ! Love! The playlist they used was so good ! This is such a fun place with mini golf and drinks and beer and really good chewy New York style pizza and you get great deals like for five dollars you can get a soda and a slice of pizza. Fun ambience. Bring a group! I'm from nyc and the pizza is very good and chewy and thin and the right cheese.

    Fun cocktail names!

Adults and kids had a great time here. The bar had a wonderful selection of adult beverages with golf themed titles, and offerings for the kids too. We did not order food. It was a lot of fun, celebrating a birthday. We also used the retro photo booth!

We recently came here for a private event for a kid's birthday party on a weekend early afternoon! It was such a fun experience for the kiddos and adults who stayed at the party to hang out. The putt putt course was super fun for the kiddos and they were able to go around a few times. By the end of the party, we witnessed a couple hole in ones! The drinks were great and they had TVs to show the sporting events happening that time. Staff was flexible (and kind to the loud group of kiddos) and nice to work with as a party attendee. This is a great place for wintertime in Chicago!

Ok when I first walked in, it smelled a little musty. So that immediately made me question everything. But I am happy to report that this place was fun! And a wonderful alternative for an indoor activity during the winter months. There were couples, friends, families, kids, yet it didn't feel saturated. Whenever we did have to wait for a turn, they had games in between, a photo booth, and plenty of drinks to choose from. They could totally have more options of games/activities in between turns. It needs more holes too! It felt so short. The employee at the entrance was friendly and she had our clubs and balls ready to go and gave a quick run down. Bartenders were nice as well. You get to do one final shot to see if you win something and I won a free drink! Coming back for sure.

Loved this place! At first I thought we'd breeze right through the course, but it was more challenging and bonus for $5 more we played unlimited! They also had bingo and service was excellent!

Just celebrated my birthday here over the weekend and it was pretty fun! The way you make reservations is in groups of 4. They are very accommodating to help keep your big group together (mine had 16 people). And it was no problem adding an extra 2 people to my reservation. The vibes inside are fun! Lots of seating inside surrounding the course. My group of 16 were able to sit comfortably in one corner. They also have hook & ring and a photo booth too. The course itself is 9 holes - some were easy and some were medium level. You have a bonus hole at the end to win a free round or free drink.

Big Mini is fun! No food: bring your own inside (it's allowed) or eat somewhere nearby before or after. Drinks: lots of non-alcoholic choices, including a good mocktail menu and at least a couple of NA beers. I like the spicy Parloma (Paloma mocktail). Yes, their drinks have enough golf puns to keep you entertained for a while. Service: really great, they rock consistently! They care. Ambiance: the 9-hole golf course is fun and challenging. I'm obsessed with the 7th hole (Big Shoulders, along with the Chicago theme on the wall behind it. Yay, Carl Sandburg!) It's spacious inside, with a chill vibe, and lots of photo backdrops for you and your group. Random note: try the free pub trivia on Monday nights!

What a cool place! Had reservations for a Saturday night. They were more or less on time and the drinks hit the spot and are reasonably priced. They also have some draft cocktails, which is pretty cool too. Good selection of beer as well. Overall a very fun experience. They have some fun looking decor as well with LED displays if you wanna get your Instagram pics in. The staff was super friendly as well. Can't complain about anything! 100% will go again!

Looking for something to do besides only drinking....We found something! We did the the winter mini league and it was a super fun activity to do with friends :) oh... did I mention there are prizes! And the bartenders are so nice, especially Gabby she's a sweetheart!

Make sure you book in advance on weekends because earlier tee times get full quickly. There are only 9 holes, so try and drag it out a bit or you will be done fast. There are small games like tic tac toe and connect four to do before or after you golf. There is no dim lighting so everyone can see you while you're playing. The drinks were amazing and you are allowed to carry them around as you golf (there are places to set them down at every hole). Good place to go for just drinks if you don't feel like playing.

Three Dots and a Dash did us a solid and managed to reserve an entire alcove for us! I was so appreciative. Loved the vibe at Three Dots and a Dash. It felt much classier, like a mid-century modern tiki lounge. The music was fun too. Instantly recognized a retro Italian song by Pino D'Anglo, which just added to the ambiance. The drinks were great. We ordered a couple of rounds of the shotstapus, and I got the rum barrel for good measure. The drinks were sweet but tasty. Too easy to knock back.

The case had gone cold--or perhaps mezcal-hot--until we received a clue pointing us toward River North. Ghost Donkey is spacious, colorful, and full of energy, with plenty of bar seating and tables. The music can get loud, but it fits the atmosphere perfectly. The bartenders were constantly interacting with guests, swinging the lights, encouraging the crowd, and turning the entire room into a neon-lit fiesta. They do have a food menu featuring items such as tacos, nachos, quesadillas, and guacamole, but we mostly came for the drinks. Many of the cocktails are tequila- or mezcal-based, which is exactly what we enjoy. The menu is creative, the drinks are strong, and the bar does an excellent job making agave spirits approachable--even for guests who may not consider themselves mezcal experts. After two drinks and an argument with a decorative donkey, we finally found the missing spirit hiding behind the bar. He was translucent, smelled faintly of roasted agave, and appeared to be carrying a tiny map. We followed him through a glowing hallway, down a staircase, and into a secret chamber where he revealed the legendary piñata of Quetzalcoatl, the ancient feathered serpent god. Naturally, we attempted to break it open. Instead of candy, it released a cloud of mystical dust, three lime wedges, and a receipt for nachos. The ghost donkey brayed with laughter, the lights began swinging, and the entire bar erupted in applause. The bartender handed us another drink and told us this happened all the time. Ghost Donkey is a fantastic place to hang out, pregame, and enjoy inventive tequila and mezcal cocktails in a lively setting. Just be warned: you may arrive looking for a ghost donkey and leave having helped recover an ancient Mexican god's piñata. That's simply the sort of evening this place encourages.

After a quick ID check at the door, the bouncer let us know it's cash only (thankfully we came prepared). It's chaotic, energetic, and unapologetically no-frills. There's even a self-serve cooler with drink prices clearly listed underneath. I grabbed a Sapporo Premium, brought it to the counter, and our friendly bartender broke our change and offered a chilled glass to pour it into. Simple and efficient. That said, it was loud, so loud that even whispering-distance conversations were a struggle. The space is small, seating is limited, and since we couldn't snag a spot, we ended up leaving shortly after finishing our drinks. This feels like a better weekday hang than a packed weekend night. We told her we were about to leave anyway, but the way it was handled felt really abrupt and rude. What made it worse was that she immediately brought a group over to take our table, and even they were apologizing to us because they seemed uncomfortable with how it was handled. I've worked in bars and restaurants myself, so I completely understand needing to manage space, but there's a way to do it respectfully, and this wasn't it. Unfortunately, this experience left a bad impression, and despite having been here multiple times before, I won't be returning.
